Everthing was just as we expected and more. The kitchen had everything and even basics we could us....flour, herbs, coffee, sauces etc etc. Bedrooms were comfy. Spacious garage. Quiet area with wildlife. Deer was outside every night and the hummingbirds were fun to watch as we had our morning coffee on the back deck. We will book again next time we go to Raton.

This is the third year in a row to stay here and next year will be number 4. It’s a great house in a great location run/owned by wonderful people. Other than the insane heat this year (not their fault) it was perfect. See y’all next year!

Beautiful home and neighborhood

My family and I (3 adults and 4 young kids) stayed here and it was a great, comfortable home with beautiful views, privacy, great neighborhood, and lots of space. I would seriously buy this house if I could! It got a little warm in the house in June but there was a heat wave across NM, the A/C in the dining room and master bedroom helped a lot, but the other bedroom next to the master bedroom didn’t have a ceiling fan and the portable fans didn’t help much, but luckily the person planning to sleep in that room was able to sleep downstairs on the futon. The basement/area downstairs was nice! The backyard patio was amazing and perfect for morning coffee and evenings. The host had great communication and check in/check out was easy and clear instructions. We will definitely book again for our next time in Raton! Overall we enjoyed this house and we are very grateful that this house was available for our trip!

Beautiful home and the last one at the end of the road built in the edge of the mountain. Stunning views from the front yard rocking chairs! Comfortable beds and everything we needed inside. I wish we had more time to enjoy the amenities like the rear deck. Everything about the home is very private.

Beautiful Home!

This beautiful home in Raton, NM, is nestled into the side of a ridge and has three levels. Entering the front door on the second level reveals a large, high ceiling living room with tv, fireplace, comfy sectional and two oversized, sink-into stuffed chairs. Wonderful for watching the sun rise with a cup of coffee. The third level has a well-appointed kitchen, dining room, full hall bath, queen bunk bedroom, queen bedroom, ensuite king master. All beds have memory foam. The baths have tub with shower. Water pressure and temp good. Shower height good. Master tub is jetted. Complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body wash. First level has game room with two futons and two chairs around tv, laundry (detergent and softener provided), and garage. A special treat is the covered back patio (with table and multiple chairs and gas grill) which is great for reading and watching hummingbirds. Dining room has window air conditioner and master bedroom has portable A/C (we did not use either during our stay in May). Reservation and check-in were seamless. We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing vacation in this home. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect spot

This was an ideal stop for our whole family as we travelled through Raton headed to Yellowstone! House was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed! We sat on the deck and enjoyed the beautiful view and lovely weather. The beds were comfy and the house was very well maintained. We had plenty of towels and kitchen items. If you are traveling through Raton, you could not find a better place for your family!

Hunters Dream

We had two groups of hunters stay on two separate occasions. The owners were very helpful and responsive. The location was perfect for our hunting group. The house was very clean and we will stay again if we are ever in the area.

Perfect venue!

We needed a better alternative than staying in the "hotels" in Raton, and this fit the bill perfectly! Was a FAR superior alternative, and in the end, was a good bit cheaper and a far more comfortable lodging experience. We struggled to get the house down to a comfortable temperature overnight for the first couple days, but it was INSANELY hot during the day. You might consider putting an AC into the master BR since it's the furthest room away from the AC in the dining room, and the cool air has a really hard time getting down the hallway. We made due though, and was a great place to stay. We'll see you next year!

We love Raton, New Mexico. It is peaceful, beautiful, and quiet. Did we mention the weather? Raton enjoys a beautiful climate. What to do in Raton, NM? It is close to local attractions, has many outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, shooting sports, hiking, kayaking, golf, and skiing. So many options to do, but our favorite part of spending time in Raton NM is enjoying our patio while cooking a meal together as a family and enjoying a cocktail or beer. The views from the house are pretty awesome!

Our house is located within the city limits of Raton NM, but it feels like you are out in the country. We are located up the Mesa. You feel like you have the place to yourself, but you also have all of the conveniences needed nearby.
