Vintage 2 or 4 Bedroom Farmhouse 1.5 miles from Mondovi

A vintage farm house with lots of parking available for ATV, UTV, snowmobile, or horse trailers. Horse boarding is possible. Please message me. The property is located on an ATV/UTV route, snowmobile trail and only 1.5 miles from Mondovi. The area is known for great deer hunting, although none on site at this time. Public hunting 5 minutes away at BIG SWAMP WILDLIFE AREA and additional 30 minutes away at Tiffany Bottoms State Natural Area. If you aren't an outdoor enthusiast, it is still a spacious house to stay while visiting the Mondovi area.
The home is slowly being updated as time and finances allow. Many new beds with gently used furniture. Most of the upstairs has been painted and there is an additional 2 bedrooms and a 1/2 bath ready to rent for an additional fee. The upstairs is not rented if one rents the downstairs. You will have to message me, it is not online yet.
The master downstairs bedroom has a king-sized bed, and a glass table that can be used to put your makeup on, or as an office space if needed for a working vacation. This bedroom has an attached bathroom that has an old fashioned soaking tub. The second downstairs bedroom contains a queen size bed. It is small, but can accommodate 2 people. A queen size sofa sleeper completes the sleeping arrangements downstairs. The 2nd bathroom downstairs has a large corner shower.
The living room has a large screen TV with internet, a ROKU device, enough seating for 8 and room to pull in a few more chairs. The dining room has a pub table that seats 8 with plenty of room to add an extra table and chairs. The kitchen has a portable dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, crock pot, an electric fry pan, dishes and silverware to supply your cooking needs. The main entrance has steps leading into a entryway with a small coat closet, and access to the laundry room. A covered porch adorned with hanging baskets has a patio table for outside dining. A small fire pit is provided for your backyard entertainment as weather permits.

Peaceful and enjoyable

This farm house was the perfect place for us to stay while we ventured the driftless area on motorcycle. Very nice place and we loved the quiet nights and morning coffee on the front porch. Would definitely stay here in the future if we are in the area.

Awesome!

We loved the property and all the room we had in the house .. loved walking the fields with the dog. Ran out of time to use the firepit but we plan on coming back in the fall and will use it then!!! Loved the quiet (but could have done without the fireworks!) Although, I realize it was the 4th of July!!! It probably would have been better if our dog wasn't with us :)

Cozy and relaxing

Our weekend stay was very relaxing and we had everything we needed during our stay. Mary is a great host and we were blessed to see the calves while we were there. Plenty of room. All the details were lined out and easy to follow. It was great to be outside of town yet not too far. We will definitely book again! Thank you Mary!

Rural luving convenient to town

We really enjoyed our stay at the Mondovi farmhouse. Mary was an excellent host and fabulous at communication. She even offered extra ammenities for the dogs since we brought one with us and we watched a friends puppy at the house while attending a family wedding in town. There was a very nice outdoor kennel too. We enjoyed the peace and quiet country setting while being only 1.5 miles from town. We had extended family come to play cards one night. We ran out of time for a campfire but there were chairs and firewood on hand by the fire pit. We also enjoyed seeing the cows and horses at the farm. The front porch had lots of chairs to sit and enjoy your morning coffee or watch the evening stars. The beds were comfortable with lots of extra blankets and pillows available and the towels were luxurious. The kitchen was well supplied with essentials and the bathrooms with toiletries. It was not fancy but was so peaceful and safe. It was the perfect stay for our family for this weekend. Call Mary if you have questions and she'll take excellent care of you!!

Great experience

This farmhouse is located in the beautiful, driftless countryside. The house was spacious, clean, and had all the necessities. The beds were comfortable and the property was very dog friendly. The owner was easy to contact and responsive. My family was sad to leave.

Absolutely Peaceful

What an amazing stay. It was so neat to be so close to the farm and see all the animals. Very clean and everything was so easy to find too. Very relaxing deep tub to soak in and the showerhead is amazing. Mary was so easy to contact if we ran in to an issue as well. Highly recommend and we'll definitely stay again.

Mary was so great explaining everything. The property is gorgeous and close to lots of state land. Perfect for a family trip. We will be back for sure!
