Spectacular Hudson Valley getaway. Set off on a private country road yet a few minutes to the vibrant town of New Paltz. Open luxury living, designed for entertaining family and friends in style. Amenities galore. Game room, cocktail bar and coffee room to enjoy relaxing and socializing at all hours of the day or night. An outdoor oasis awaits you. Salt water pool with floats galore and plenty of lounging spaces to take in the stunning countryside view. We are surrounded by 20 breathtaking country acres as a backdrop. Your choice of gorgeous views from our multi-level deck in the backyard.

BBQ on the huge Weber grill while mingling with friends on the outdoor patio. Or stay inside and make a gourmet meal in the large, fully equipped chef's kitchen, complete with a cocktail bar to entertain guests. In the morning head to the separate coffee bar to brew your favorite hot beverage. Later, head to the enormous rec room equipped with a year round indoor hot tub spa, and play ping pong, board games or just gather with friends and watch your favorite movies from our large Roku flat screens complete with LED back lights. And after dark, head outside to the fit pit on our sprawling property to toast marshmallows and gaze up at the gorgeous night sky and watch a dazzling firefly show.

This property has absolutely every amenity and everything you can think of to enjoy a spectacular getaway in the country. Once you are here, you will never want to leave. It's a picture perfect setting for making wonderful memories with family and friends.

*We note that for safety, there are exterior security cameras located in the front of the house on the front porch and to the left of the porch. There are also exterior cameras that monitor the back door and back yard and the pool area and patio areas.

** Before booking, please carefully read our Rules and Policies which state the number of maximum guests allowed and the additional guest fees that are applied. Note we require that all guests and pets be disclosed in the booking and paid for. Failure to follow house rules will result in a an additional penalty fee of $500.

This is a property where the owner truly goes the extra mile to make the place guest-friendly: labeled light switches, soft sheets and linens, a first-floor laundry room, pool towels and floaties, and games and books for the kids. Extremely clean, plenty of space for two families to spread out or be together as desired.

Just what we were looking for

A private and relaxing stay up in the country, with nobody else in sight, exactly what we were looking for. The house is spacious, well appointed, and perfectly suited for hosting. The hosts clearly thought of everything. Would definitely stay again!

Family Visit

The house was beautiful, just as described, lots of space for family. Small pool and deck. Lovely master suite, kitchen, porch. We ended up with a late addition of an extra young couple. I was somewhat dismayed to find the host has cameras all around the property and pool and contacted us about the additional two people. We paid the extra charge, but that felt a little weird about the cameras. The property is otherwise very private and lovely. Also easy access to New Paltz and Rosedale with restaurants and such. Easy access to hiking and biking.

A True Summer Retreat!

We just wrapped up a 16 day stay at Michael and Carol's beautiful property! As New Yorkers, we look forward each year to our summer break upstate, where we can all assemble (even pups) and relax. Well... this year was exceptional! Where to start? The property and home provide a perfect venue for both space/privacy as well as comfy family spaces. We were floored by the beautiful (long) driveway as you enter the property. A guest found it perfect to start a walking regime (.2 miles back and forth). Amenities included and used were the fabulous pool and indoor playroom which includes a hottub and pingpong table...a perfect place to relax and enjoy the Olympics! Mom (in her nineties) was dwarfed in the incredible master bedroom suite, which has private access to the back deck and pool. The entire place is surrounded by green! Also fun was the firepit out front! An aside...there were lovely guest baskets waiting for us upon arrival, with a specific one containing everything you'd need for night of Smores! The home was well kept and clean, and we felt cared for. Michael and Carol were super punctual with communications and the grounds were wonderful. A little north of New Paltz, the property is huge and we found ourselves actually doing a lot of dining and food shopping in Rosendale. Main Street looks quiet but has some of the best restaurants in the area. All in all this summer's break was memorable and we look forward to reserving time next summer!

Sprawling private getaway

Communication with owner was great. House was very clean, spacious, and had really high quality linens and towels. Kitchen had everything you need. Lots of fun to be had with the pool, game room, and fire pit. The area is nice to explore, but for a family weekend together you barely need to leave this house!
