Spacious home in the hills of El Cerrito overlooking the Bay.
Open floor plan with large windows and wrap around deck with panoramic views of the entire bay, San Francisco, Golden Gate Bridge and Oakland.

Peaceful location that's close to everything but also in nature with hiking trails across the street and Tilden Regional Park within 10 minutes. Great for visiting professionals or a relaxing getaway from the city.

- 4 miles to Berkeley
- 15 miles to San Francisco
- 10 miles to Oakland
- 2 miles to Albany Beach
- 1 mile to BART

Street parking only - usually there are 3 to 4 parking spaces in front of the house

Adjacent house is under construction but it is not very noisy. The Accessory Dwelling Unit at the back is gated and has a lovely rescue dog on site.

This is the 2nd year we've stayed at this place. We had a work retreat here and it serves us well. The view off the deck is spectacular. I live in EC too so it was easy to go back and forth to get things from home for our work meeting.

Definitely the #1 feature of this property are the breathtaking views of the bay, from the living room and the balcony. Clean, close to Berkeley/ Oakland and relatively close to San Francisco itself, and in a tranquil neighborhood. Finding street parking was easy for us, but then we were not out too late. Two things to keep in mind: 1) the driveway, which is the only way to the house, is somewhat steep, so at least one person in your party needs to be up for walking it to bring the car up for anyone else as parking is on the street, and 2) the bigger bedroom does not have any possibility to open blinds to the outside, so you have to rely on artificial light in it all the time. Great property overall and very helpful host - would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful view

The house is spacious, fairly quiet, and comfortable, with adequate kitchen, supplies, towels, etc. It sits on a steep hill overlooking el cerrito/richmond and beyond which you can view from the balcony. There are many birds around if that interests you, including a flock of wild turkeys. If you are not up for walking up a steep driveway, then you will want to find another place -- but you can drive up the driveway to offload your luggage. Parking is only on the street, but there is no problem finding space. The host responds quickly to any questions and is available to insure you have a good stay. This house is very convenient to Kensington, Berkeley, and Albany. And you can find a few supermarkets, Trader Joes, Costco, etc. within close driving distance.

Wonderful place!

Clean comfy and àn awesome view! Could have used some instructions on how to run the Keurig às that was our first time. very close to shopping and Oakland Alameda Richmond and Walnut Creek. We'll stay there again that's for sure!

Loved This Home & Place

We were so happy with this home! We held a Planning Retreat and had a weekend work meeting here. The home was so beautiful and clean. The views were breathtaking and the communications with Wendy were so clear and she was always responsive. I live in El Cerrito and I will recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a wondrous place to stay in the City. Loved this home and place!!

Loved everything about this place!

Absolutely loved this rental. The host was very communicative before we even arrived and during our stay. The house was very clean, comfortable beds, and the fans were a nice addition. The view from the balcony was absolutely breath taking. Waking up in the morning to the Golden Gate Bridge is something I’ll never forget. Lovely, nice host. I will definitely plan to book here again on our trip next year!

San Fran Fun

In California for the first time ever, visited Alcatraz, Golden Gate and Sanoma wines!!! El Cerrito was a perfect haven! Our host made sure we knew all about the property before our arrival and made sure everything was ready for us. The house was just as described and the view for morning coffee was BEAUTIFUL!!! Living area was spacious and the beds were super comfy!! The neighborhood felt very safe and we even saw wildlife (turkeys and deer)! We highly recommended this host and property!!! Thank you!!!

Great stay in the Bay

After a series of excellent communications with our host, Wendy, I was not surprised to find the property as lovely as it appeared on the website. The house was as shown. It was immaculate and the self check-in was easy. The drive is steep and parking is at a premium, but it was a non-issue for the younger members of our group of three. I highly recommend this property with the excellent view of the Bay to anyone staying in the El Cerrito area. Make sure your online map system is functional. Those roads can be quite confusing but worth the effort once you get to your destination. Thanks Wendy!

Nice house

The photos are accurate & the house is clean. The view is amazing! There are only a couple of minor drawbacks….there is no AC, a fact that I didn’t even think to check for. There are plenty of fans, but it got quite warm in the living area. Parking is on the street, which is down a very steep driveway. I would recommend this house.

Amazing house with gorgeous views

Great location, with incredible views of San Fran. Close to Napa, Tilden Park, Berkley and if you want to take the Bart into SF, close to that too. House is clean, comfortable and feels like home. Host is super responsive. Highly recommended!

Incredible view and thoughtful host

Looking out the front of the property is incredible. Lots of light and space in the living room/kitchen. Host was gracious and responsive. They’ve set it up thoughtfully for guests, stocked with all the essentials and even some things one might have forgotten like a toothbrush. I was nervous once I realized we were sharing a wall with other residents because of our loud toddler. The bedroom in the back would have been really nice if you could open the big sliding door and open the curtains but there were building materials stacked outside on that side of the house. Overall a fantastic spot.
