LOCATION

Moss Haven is nestled in a wooded Blowing Rock neighborhood with location convenience paired with seclusion where you can experience comfort and tranquility. Downtown Blowing Rock is just 5 miles away, Moses Cone Memorial Park, Julian Price Park, Westglow Resort & Spa, Blowing Rock Equestrian Preserve, Bass Lake, and the Blue Ridge Parkway are a few miles away, Appalachian Ski Mtn is 16 minutes, and Grandfather Mountain is just 25 minutes. Boone is 20 minutes away, Linn Cove Viaduct is 15 minutes away, providing convenient access to all the area activities and attractions. The cabin is close to a grocery store, 10 minutes away.

LIVING AREA

Enjoy the open floor plan in the main living area with a gas fireplace, two comfortable loveseats and an oversized leather recliner, and a dining table for 6 with additional bar seating for 3 people. The cabin is equipped with a 55" Samsung Smart TV with streaming subscriptions included (Netflix and Youtube TV).

The cabin is fully stocked throughout with great attention to detail and has been thoughtfully decorated with original artwork from the previous owner that you are sure to love.

OUTDOORS

The large back patio is great for taking in nature or relaxing by the firepit table seated in Adirondack chairs. There are outdoor Sonos speakers integrated with the living room entertainment system. The covered front porch is spacious and has four comfortable rocking chairs.

KID-FRIENDLY

This cabin is excellent for families. Sitting on over an acre of flat wooded property, there is plenty of nature to explore for the little ones. A high-chair, booster seat, Baby Bjorn pack-n-play (sheets included), hiking backpack, baby gates, child-sized cups/plates/bowls/silverware will be available, and a solid selection of books puzzles, and toys for children of all ages.

BEDROOMS

The large master bedroom with a walk-in closet located on the 2nd floor has a king-sized bed, a private bathroom, and a queen-sized pull-out sofa bed. It has a 40" Samsung Smart TV.

Downstairs you will find two additional bedrooms with a full bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and desk/workspace. The third bedroom has a Queen/Twin XL bunk bed, a game table for chess/checkers/cards, a 55" Samsung Smart TV positioned to view from the oversized and comfy bunk beds, and a Super Nintendo Classic gaming system.

HOUSE RULES

Minimum Age to Rent: Guests must be 25 years old or older to book

No Smoking: Smoking inside the Premises is not permitted at any time (including e-cigarettes)

No Parties or Events: We want to maintain a serene atmosphere for all our guests. Please respect our no-party policy.

Guest Capacity: No unregistered guests or visitors allowed. The maximum property capacity is 8 people.

Pet Friendly: Up to two dogs are welcome upon request and prior approval! Pets must be crated when left at home alone. A $150 non-refundable pet fee will apply per stay. For (1) one additional dog, guest must inquire in advance to get approval. There is an additional non-refundable pet fee of $100 per stay that will apply for an additional dog. Cats are not allowed.

Quiet Hours: Quiet hours start at 9 pm until 7 am. Please keep noise to a minimum to ensure a peaceful environment for all.

Cleanliness: We appreciate your cooperation in keeping the property tidy. Regularly dispose of garbage throughout your stay and during checkout. A $250 fee will apply for excess trash left outside the designated secure bin located outside.

Damages and Breakages: Accidents happen! Report any damages and/or breakages and missing items promptly. Guests will be responsible for covering cost of damages or missing items.
