Fantastic Downeast location!

This beautiful apartment on Kendall's Head in Eastport was such an easy and comfortable place to stay. It was clean, nicely decorated and fully appointed with laundry facilities and dishwasher... beautiful views... comfortable bed, dining and lounging... all you need for cooking... and such nice hosts.. even a garage for the car (especially nice if the weather turns, which it did for one of our days). Easy driving to great hikes, paddles and interesting places to eat out or get ingredients for cooking. This place is highly recommended and we hope to return.

A Little Slice of Heaven in Eastport Maine

Mark’s place is spacious,immaculate, nicely furnished and anything you need or want is provided. The property is landscaped beautifully and very well maintained. From the front deck your view is the ocean and from the back deck a spacious yard where deer and fawns visit daily.It is very quiet and peaceful there.Mark is very helpful and readily available to answer any questions. Eastport has a small fun Main Street with eclectic shops and a few good restaurants and a nice little walkway on the harbor. We enjoyed our time here. If you are going to stay in Eastport, this is definitely the place to stay, definitely five star!

Amazing place all around

Mark and Gayle were so friendly and accommodating. Check in was simple and the apartment had everything you could ask for. The views off the front and back porch were incredible. Everything about the apartment was clean, comfortable, modern and spacious. Wish we could have stayed longer but we were only in town for a long weekend to celebrate our anniversary. We definitely hope to come back and would highly recommend Spindrift to anyone looking to stay in Eastport!

Coastal retreat Downeast!

Beautiful, spacious apartment with expansive view of the bay. Very comfortable, nicely decorated space with well stocked kitchen. Considerate and thoughtful host. Eastport and surrounding area provides small town amenities, restaurants, gift shops and gorgeous ocean vistas.

5 star apartment with spectacular view

What a fantastic find! Prior to and during stay, Mark (the host) was extremely responsive and helpful. The apartment is located in a quiet, beautiful country setting just a few miles from Eastport. It is the perfect location for exploring Eastport and the surrounding area (e.g., Campobello, St. Andrews, and the art gallies and great restaurants in Eastport). The apartment is spacious, well appointed, and sparkles like new. It was hard to choose between relaxing on the front or back deck (each has multiple lounging chairs and a gathering table). The front deck has an excellent water view and the back deck overlooks a very large, well kept, property. The setting is so relaxing, quiet and beautiful (inside and out). When we return to the area this will be my first choice of a place to stay. Definitely a 5 star rating. Thank you, Mark!

Peaceful Get Away with Everything You Need

Mark’s place is a peaceful oasis in Eastport. Everything is there that you could ever want and need with beautiful water view out front and a peaceful garden out back. Communication with Mark was great and we even got to meet him and his wife in person - who were lovely and hospitable. You cannot go wrong with this place!

Great apartment with wonderful view

This garage apartment is the nicest vacation spot we’ve stayed in. The host is friendly, everything was clean, comfortable, and well provisioned. The view of the bay from the front porch is lovely. We enjoyed sitting out there in the late afternoon and reading. We would definitely stay here again. The only thing that might present a challenge to some visitors is the somewhat steep stairs leading up to the apartment. They didn’t bother us, but I thought they should be mentioned.

Excellent experience.

So impressed by the quiet location, views and layout of the apartment. I have never been to a rental so we’ll equipped. They thought of everything! Very clean and spacious.
