Welcome to the quaint community of Decorah. This getaway is located steps from the local attractions including the Butterfly Park, Pulpit Rock Brewery, Landing Market, Whippy Dip, and Vesterheim Museum to name a few. The property is located near the Upper Iowa River ideal for fly fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and tubing. The Trout Run Trail is a picturesque path passing along dikes and abandoned rail beds ideal for biking, walking, and running.

Description of space:
The master bedroom includes a king bed that can be reconfigured into two XL twins beds upon request. The second bedroom includes a queen bed. The living room includes a queen pull out sofa. Open kitchen concept is fully stocked with dishes, cookware, utensils, oils, Keurig coffee and tea. Washer and dryer located outside the unit and available for use during your stay. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, iron, and ironing board. A Pack'n Play available upon request.

The stay was very pleasant. The home was very clean, snacks and toiletry products provided in case you forgot yours from home. Coffee maker with variety of coffee pods. Will stay again in the future!

Mountain Bike Race Weekend

Great place

The property and host were top notch! Quarters for laundry if needed, toiletries, snacks and water for guest! Easy check in and check out. Great communication with host before. Nice booklet explaining everything and things to do. Would stay here again.

This is a super clean apartment in a very convenient location in town. So welcoming and has everything you need for the perfect stay. The host Pam go was above and beyond to make sure your stay is wonderful- I will absolutely return next time!

Perfect.

The property was welcoming, clean, towels were fluffy and soft. Beds were very comfortable. A very cozy place to rest and chill with family. Communication with the hostess was quick and clear to the point. If I ever head to Decorah again, this will be where I stay.

Cozy. Clean. Comfortable.

The place was great! Looks like a fresh remodel! Beds were great! The only complaint is the heavy use of plug in air fresheners. Just a very strong air freshener. We unplugged it for the duration of our stay, plugging it back in before we checked out. We wohld definitely recommend!

Every detail cared for!

This unit is clean, well-updated and VERY well stocked. The owner has cared for every detail, from coffee and snacks to extra toiletries to quarters for the washer/dryer. The flexibility to make the king bed into 2 twins was great, and the ability to rent multiple units in the same building made our friends reunion awesome. A+++

A Splendid Nook of Comfort!!

Pam was a phenomenal host! Comms were easy and rapid with any questions I had. The room was GORGEOUS and exceptionally comfortable. Sadly I got sick in the middle of my stay and had to depart early. Pam was so understanding a pleasure. As sick as I got, if nothing else I had an exceptionally comfortable room that more than made the best of an unfortunate circumstance. Book with confidence and you will be anything but disappointed!! ES

They went above and beyond with all of the extras that they included. The rooms were pretty warm.

The air conditioning should’ve been set on its lowest setting for a few hours before we got there because it was a pretty hot sleep in the bedrooms. Also the toilet seat was so loose I think it’s about to fall off. I think a simple screwdriver could’ve fix that one. Everything else was awesome. The hide a bed is the most uncomfortable hide a bed you could possibly have used as a bed so we slept on it as a couch. For four grown men these aren’t really complaints just suggestions but ladies probably would’ve complained about these things.

My husband and I were born and raised in northeast Iowa and have raised our family in Decorah. Decorah has a strong Norwegian heritage with Nordic Fest being an annual event. Our youngest son is a Nordic Dancer. Every 5 years tryouts are held to form the junior group. The kids who are selected are in the program for 10 years. Nordic Dancers perform at various event throughout the summer with the final 5 performances during Nordic Fest. The family photo was taken after his last performance in which he was both exhausted and relieved that he was finished for the year. Our son has close family support with everyone making the trek back home to enjoy the festivities and support their younger brother.

We are the owners of 12 buildings- 92 rental units in Decorah. We believe our experience with rental properties and a cleaning crew make vacation rentals a natural fit. We have additional adjacent units available allowing larger groups to book in close proximity to one another.

We have turned1 of the 12 buildings primarily into vacation rentals. The units are recently remodeled and are centrally located to the Butterfly Park/Prairie Garden, bike trails, Luther College, Downtown, Parks, and local breweries.
