This is a perfect family vacation home! Be mindful of children around the pool and the canal as with anywhere but overall I cannot suggest the property enough. There is a hill on the way down to the dock without a sidewalk or walkway and my elderly mother struggled some but with a hand she made it, its not too steep
The pool area is a dream
Highly recommend spending mornings drinking coffee on the dock

Great stay!

The house was perfect!!! The first night the house was warm and the air conditioner was not cooling the house off. I easily contacted Vacasa via text and within 2 hours they had someone to the house and the air was fixed! The house was very clean, had tons of towels for the pool and showers. Would definitely stay here again!

The property was lacking in a few things, it does not allow glass around the pool however they did not have one plastic cups in that whole house to take outside. It had plenty of dishes, but no glasses. The bathroom outlets did not work, property manager told me that when I checked in. It had rusted out bathroom toilet brush sitting next to the bathroom? The outside pool had one broken lounge chair and a broken wood side table. You can definitely tell this is an investment property.

March Getaway from Cold Northeast Weather

We arrived at 2:30pm. House was available for early check-in. House was clean inside. We were 4 adults (house was listed for 6 people). Disappointed in available dishware as there were only 3 coffee cups and dishes were chipped. There were 3 bedrooms but only 8 clothes hangers between them. Only 1 television in the house with no cable access and inability to stream due to internet issues. GFI electrical outlets in both bathrooms were not working. When we called to inquire, we were told by the property agent they were aware of these issues but had not fixed them due to issues securing workers (note: Internet service was fixed on the last day of our stay). It appears these issues have been going on for months based on previous reviews and they were not timely addressed. Screen for the sliding door into the backyard was left against the lanai and no lounge chairs were available to enjoy the outdoor pool area. Given we paid extra because of the pool, the lack of seating was disappointing. Also, if you want to have beach chairs and umbrellas for beach, bring your own as there is nothing in the house. Note the going rate to rent them is approximately 80 per day for 4 people. I would not stay at this residence again given the lack of commitment to the property. Further, felt listing was untruthful as the negative issues noted above were not mentioned in the listing. Both The homeowner and property agent need to pay more attention to this property.

The pool was too cold to use and there is no heater. There was no working WiFi. The washer and dryer did not work.

Hope they fix things

AC wasn't working was the worst part. Wifi didn't work, no Cable, remotes hadbdead batteries. Pool was too cold to enjoy. House was very clean when I arrived.

Never again will I book a Vacasa home!

While the interior of the home was kept up, the pool was in horrible shape. When we arrived on a Friday there was algae build up in many areas of the pool and it was already a green color. The response from Vacasa was essentially, "the pool company was supposed to be there Thursday and we've tried to get a hold of them but it will likely be Monday until we can have someone out." I'm sorry, being a Floridian myself and having a pool, despite bad weather and such a pool doesn't look like that over a week. When we got back from fishing Monday, the pool had been shocked (with no communication from Vacasa), so for our 4 day trip we were not even able to use the pool. Additionally, when we arrived the outside trash can was full and filled with maggots, which again I'm not sure how this happens with trash pickup being twice a week. If you're bringing a boat like I did, the only good thing about the property really is the location and being on a canal. Other than that the home definitely lacks some creature comforts one may expect.... For example, there is only one television in this 3 bedroom home.

Not the Best Experience

This house was ok. The cleaning crew was there when we arrived, we had no idea because we arrived after 4pm and weren't notified of the rental not being ready. There were two random cars in the driveway with no markings, so we thought they were other guests. We were assured they were cleaners and the home would be spotless. Upon entering the home is nice and comfortable looking. Immediately, we found two roaches in the cabinets, like German cockroach’s. My husband killed them and we didn’t see any more. There was food on the floor under the coffee table. The pool deck was nasty and unclean with balloons and pieces of balloons all over from the previous renters. The outdoor furniture was gross and uninviting. The home was HOT. The thermostat was on 76 and was not allowed to be changed, so sleeping was so uncomfortable when it was so hot in there. We’ve rented on Marco Island for many years, this is our first Vacasa, and we’ll probably not do it again.

Beautiful Home

This beautiful home is located in a quiet neighborhood, was clean and nicely arranged for our arrival. The beds are very comfortable, the pool is huge. The check-in and check-out process was very easy. We had a very relaxed stay.

Great location but needs attention

Location of property was great. Close enough to everything but far enough to have peace and quiet. Unfortunately, we had numerous issues with the proper during our 5 day stay. The refrigerator wasn’t working properly and caused issues with the groceries we purchased. The property could also use some beach gear for families that are visiting. Also had multiple wasps nest around the lanai doors to the pool which made it exciting to try and get in and out. We also had an issue with the washer which wouldn’t run on our last evening.

It was hard to say what we loved about the place simply because it was overshadowed by the multiple number of large issues that needed to be addressed from the very beginning and continued throughout the 3 weeks stay. If I had to say one good think about the place, we did enjoy the openness of the layout/floorplan of the main areas of the house. Other than that quite disappointed

Family Vacation

The property was located in a quiet residential neighborhood. The property was easy to access and was very clean upon arrival. The location was great, with two Publix within a few minutes in each direction and a Walmart about a 10 to 15 minute drive away. Getting to a public parking spot for the beach is only about 10 minutes away; the same with many, if not all, of the restaurants on Marcos Island. Overall, I am very pleased with the property; I would stay there again, and I would recommend it. The pool area was very nice, but there were some spiders in there that need taking care of (not big ones!). I will say, if you are expecting any amenities to be available to you to take to the beach, think again. There were a handful of items in the garage, a small and large cooler, a mid-size cooler with a broken lid, all things I believe previous renters purchased for their stay and left behind. There was a full box of life preservers, if you needed them for young kids. There were no beach chairs, no beach umbrella or tent, and a few beach towels, and that was it. If you want it, bring it, or plan to buy it when you are there. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay!
