"Ocean Stories" is composed of two houses, two kitchens, two living rooms, 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, 7 fireplaces, a bar, massive joining patio that has its own outdoor fireplace, steps take you right to the sand and the beach with a shower to rinse off and palapa to relax under. There is a gated entry, plenty of parking and a Pickle Ball Court.

This home is a text book Rocky Point getaway for the dream vacation and we look forward to hosting you!

Beach Wedding at Ocean Stories

My husband and I got married on this beachfront property and could not have had a more perfect wedding! Everything about this place made our day so special. The home was clean, spacious, and welcoming to us. The host was so nice and let us see the property before our big day so we could be prepared in advance. The view was stunning and we were even able to have a sunset dinner on the patio for all 24 people that came (not all stayed with us). We are so grateful for the owners for letting us have this beautiful experience on the best day of our lives!

Amazing home in a great location

The Russell compound was just amazing we really enjoyed our stay there. The staff was great when we arrived a bit early they let us put our luggage in the court yard while they finished getting the homes ready. The caretaker who gave me the keys was great explaining the layout of the homes and gave suggestions for good food and entertainment outside the properties. The welcome packet included phone numbers of people who can provide catering, entertainment etc. This is a very well managed property the hosts were great. I am already planning for next years family reunion and will definetly be going back to the property

Family Christmas

The property is beautiful! Every morning we sat on the deck looking for dolphins and most mornings we were rewarded with a show! Our family, just grandfather, siblings and kids enjoyed the pickle ball court and loved the fabulous setting. Our hostess was very attentive to our questions and requests. We loved the property and hope if will be available for our next trip to Puerto Penasco.

Summer in Ocean front Paradiso

The ocean front property at Russell compound is one of the best we rented till date. We were 12 and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The welcome packet we received cover every pointers that helped us during checkin and checkout. . I wpuld score this prperty 10/10

Amazing beach and hospitality

The breathtaking beach views from the property exceeded all expectations! The private and quiet beach added an extra layer of serenity to our stay. Javier's hospitality and assistance were exceptional, enhancing our overall experience. Rosario's culinary skills were truly remarkable, providing us with delicious meals that contributed to a relaxing and comfortable retreat. We loved the homes tremendously. Very clean and well stocked upon arrival. The landlord was attentive and helpful. Enjoyed the family pictures on the bar wall. Appreciated the well-stocked water coolers in both homes. Thanks for sharing this location. Our favorite stay in Las Canchas to date and hope to make this a return destination. The shower by the beach did not work well, however.

Wonderful space

Came for a family trip. The two house provided enough space for us with room to spare. I overpacked kitchen/laundry/toilet paper/water and didn’t need to. Javier came at least every other day to check on my family and I. Provide what we need. Great communication and response time was within 5-10 minutes if a problem arose. Great hosts, great property and the views were spectacular

Amazing Beach House!

We had 3 families with a total of 6 adults and 13 children. There was ample room for everyone and the amenities were fantastic. We have stayed in Rocky Point probably 25 times over the past 13 yrs and this was by far the best condo we have ever stayed in. Javier, the property manager, was incredible to work with and made sure we had everything we needed to have an enjoyable experience. If there is one thing my wife and I hate about staying in RP, it's that the beds are SOOOO uncomfortable, but this place had amazingly comfortable beds throughout the entire property. We also absolutely loved all of the patio furniture everywhere! We look forward to staying here for many years to come!

Best Trip!

It was a group of family and friends ages ranging 65 to 23. The “kids“ had a fun house with the foosball and air hockey and the “adults“ had the house with the dishwasher. All 16 of us ended up on the adult patio hunkered around a big table playing games all night. The house was clean, There were beach towels provided, and plenty of kitchen amenities. We only wish that the huge, combining patio had more shade because we enjoyed being with each other so much on the “adult” patio, but was tight for all of us. Not a complaint at all, though, glad the “kids” wanted to be with us. When the tide was out(and it goes out far) we enjoyed the games we brought with: spike ball and corn hole on the smooth beach.

Disheartening 80th Birthday Celebration

We chose Ocean Stories to celebrate my Dad's 80th birthday. 4pm check-in listed in welcome packet, VRBO erroneously lists 3pm. Arrived early & host quickly responded w/approval. Kaylee advised of drainage issues. Arrived at gate, the owner called. Oksana offered to utilize another property from Tues-Fri at 11am when plumbing issues would be resolved. Bella Sirena is 25-30 minutes away, not pet-friendly, & not a viable option. Stench was atrocious in the Sunrise house. Repeated visits by plumber (Tues-Fri), revived the smell. Inoperable kitchen sink & limited bathroom use. Walking back & forth to wash dishes, hands & using bathroom was not ideal. House was not cleaned properly, nor was it stocked. W/out sufficient paper products we had to purchase more. The floors & countertops were filthy, dirty mops/brooms left out; towels smelled mildewy. The last night, lost power 12:30am-6:45am. Electricity was intermittent 6:45am-9am. Lastly, as loading vehicles to return home, I was approached by cleaning crew at 9am for the keys. Check out is 10am. Nonetheless, this was extremely disheartening. My family spent a lot of money to enjoy 1/2 of what we paid for. Given the fact the plumbing problems were never resolved & w/all of the disruptions, I would advise the owner to remove this property from VRBO until they can get the right expertise to determine root cause & fully repair the issues. The severity needs to be taken seriously to avoid additional families having to endure this.

Great Family Retreat! Perfect for Reunions or Weddings! 4.5/5

I would give 4.5/5 almost perfect minus a few things. The good: 2 HOUSES: Great for separating the good Mormons(family house) from the naughty ones(Party House). Norriegas bar was a great plus! Plenty of room. Well Maintained. On the beach with very few vendors. A/c in all the rooms. Comfortable couches. Awesome fire pits. Would be perfect for family reunions, weddings, or in our case a surprise birthday party for my father. The Neutral: It is deep in Los Conchas. Little bit of a drive to make it back into town. 2 rooms are full of bunk beds and they are in the party house with the bar. We had to be a little more quiet in that house at night while the kids slept. The Bad: It's for sale! :( I would book this in the future for family events, so I hope it is still used for an airbnb. There was a pretty big tropical storm that ripped through RP last year. This house appeared to show damage from that. Tiles had fallen from the pillars and were coming apart in some of the walkways. This also could be due to the age of the property. Also hot water seemed to run out quickly in the Family house. Overall one of the best places I have stayed at while traveling to Rocky Point. Great for family and large groups and for a much more privacy compared to staying at a resort.

Anniversary

The owner of the property responds to your messages quickly as I had several questions to prepare for our event. My husband and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary with an intimate ceremony on the beach directly in front of the home. The beach had soft sand the water was beautiful and blue. The home is absolutely beautiful and was spacious to accommodate 20 of our family members. We held a small dinner and reception on the patio in between the two homes and in the evenins usedthe fireplace on the outside patio. Our kids had so much fun playing pickle ball daily. The house has everything you need, beach towels and completely stocked kitchens in both houses. So convenient. We took advantage of hiring Rosario to make us breakfast and dinner daily, her food is absolutely delicious, she is so friendly and accommodating. She even catered our vow renewal dinner. We also utilized her husband the house caretaker to purchase a few items for us at the local store. You will not be disappointed, we had an amazing time and made great memories in this home away from home. Thank you

Best property we’ve ever stayed at in Rocky Point

Our family (4-5 families including teenage and preteen kids) has rented large homes in Rocky Point for the last 16 years and this is, by far, the best property we’ve ever had the privilege to stay in. Having the smaller house was perfect for the kids’ hangout. Both houses were spotless and well appointed. We loved having the pickleball court available for our nightly “tournaments”. The grill and Blackstone worked perfectly and were a huge help in making meals for 20 of us. Javier, the property manager, was responsive and so helpful. He met us to check in and show us where everything was stored. Knowing that he was only a phone call away was comforting. I’m not sure we’ll ever want to stay anywhere else. Thank you for a comfortable, clean, beautiful home during our stay.

Annual October Get Away

This spacious, beautiful house was perfect for our large group of 18 adults and teenagers. The house was very well maintained and equipped . The kitchen had a full supply of cooking utensils and spices. It was a treat to have a dishwasher and garbage disposal. This brand of dishwasher does require a unique method of starting. You might like to ask for instructions before arriving. There were ample patio areas for everyone . There were quite a few steps to the beach, but the beach below was beautiful. There was plenty of parking for our six cars . Javier, the property manager was there immediately when we had questions or minor problems. We have stayed here before and will continue to do so in the future..

We finally found our dream family place to stay in Rocky Pointe

What an amazing experience. From start to finish it was perfection. The house was spotless. The location is perfectly secluded. Our family loved having two houses with a shared balcony. One house was able to be a little louder vs the quieter more relaxing house. The shower leading up to the house is a great addition (more places need this), it lets you not bring sand back up to the houses. We loved the pickle-ball court that was able to be lit at night. The chefs food is amazing, we highly recommend taking advantage of that service, the food was amazing and she had it ready right on time for everyone. I truly cant say enough amazing things about the compound. We cant wait to come back.

Best family reunion ever!

The place was awesome. Right on the beach. Water was warm. House had all amenities. Air conditioning was cold. Javier made sure we had enough drinking water daily. Rosario’s cooking was fantastic. I highly recommend you use her. Plenty of room for the 20 plus people we had. And plenty of bathrooms, too.

Awesome Place

The 2 houses were perfect for our group of 16. Plenty of room and loved the bar. The beach was great! You just have to time it when the tide is just right. Rosario prepared the most delicious meals for a great price, highly recommend her for a your catering needs.

Hello! Property Manager, Kaylee here! I was essentially raised in these homes. My grandfather purchased the land in 1972 when my mother was 12. This is our family legacy and we hope you will enjoy it and cherish it as much as we have! We convinced my grandfather to let us rent the home in order to allow others to enjoy it and to be able to keep the home in the family for years to come. The Geiler family has taken the reins from us, but only to continue the legacy in the same way the Russell's did!

We have raised children and grandchildren in these two homes and want to share that experience with other families as well! This home has that authentic Las Conchas charm! We have lived and loved in this home and hope you can feel it when you walk in. You will see some family shenanigans throughout with the margarita mugs hung on the ceiling in Noriega's - added in the year 2000! We hope that through allowing others to enjoy the home, we can continue to maintain and cherish the homes to pass it onto the next generation!
