This property was fantastic. The house had everything we needed. The dock was in great shape and the covered seating area that is on the dock, equipped with a ceiling fan, was great for hanging out on. The beach area is awesome and makes the water accessible to folks who would otherwise have a hard time using a ladder to enter/exit the lake. The house is conveniently located to shipping, restaurants, pickleball, and golf courses.

Annual Summer Trip

We can’t complain about a thing besides the unpredictable weather! But there was so much to do at this house that we always had something to do rain or shine! Location of this house was perfect on the lake and only 7 min from grocery shopping. WiFi was a little spotty in some bedrooms but we didn’t spend much time watching tv anyways. Had all the amenities you could need upon arrival and tons of towels. We loved this house and our stay!

The space was great for multiple families coming together. There are 2 larger rooms (1 king, 1 queen) with attached full baths that are great for small families with young kids. There are 2 smaller bedrooms (queen beds) good for childless members or older kids, then there’s the bunk room. All 3 of those share a bathroom, which is a downside - but wasn’t a problem for us (note: 1 of the queens does have a toilet & small sink - but no shower).The common area is fantastic. The large outdoor deck was our favorite hangout spot. And the beach & dock were great to play in & jump off. The grass is really a bunch of crabgrass-type stuff, so don’t expect anything plush - but it’s all just a pathway to the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

Great location

This house was perfect for our family trip. It is right off the main channel of the lake. It has a sandy beach for the kids to play on. Plenty of room with 5 bedrooms.

Greenbay Lodge

Greenbay lodge was great for a family vacation. Beach area was great. Most houses don’t offer that. Great for kids to play and hang in shallow water. Had 10 adults and 4 kids. Plenty of room and space for the price. Would definitely recommend. Electric stove takes a bit to get used to. Cook on low. Multiple fridges on all levels. Ideal location for calm water. Close to restaurants and all major stores. Great quiet neighborhood. Will go again

Great locacation for our 3 generation family vacation.

We had a great time at this Lake Norman home with a superb location on the lake. The property is off the main channel which makes the water great for wake boarding, tubing, etc, but is close to a couple marinas and provides easy access to several shopping areas.. We would come back again.

Memories made for a lifetime!

We went to the lake with our whole family, 4 households in total. We had the best time of our lives. The house is everything it’s advertised, super clean, comfy and lots of room. The beach and dock area is where we spent most of our time and is so private and fun! We rented a boat which was a must and spent hours boating and tubing. The house was loaded with just about everything you need for cooking meals we only ate on meal out of the house the entire week. It’s close to grocery stores and Walmart which is super convenient. The property management company was amazing and very responsive to any issues we had which were very few. We loved our stay and will most definitely be back!

Little disappointed

We were a little disappointed upon arrival. The home is a little run down, unlike the pictures posted. Our disappointment consisted of a broken recliner, sinking mattresses, a pancake of mold in the coffee maker, dirty kitchen sink, a uncleaned jetted tub, an inch of dust on curtains, walls, & Ceiling fans, no toilet paper, & an empty propane tank for the grill. It's a nice house with ample space & had everything you needed. It just needs a really good cleaning & some exterior & interior TLC.

FANTASTIC, FANTASTIC AND EVEN MORE FANTASTIC!!!

We had our family reunion last week and rented The Lodge at Greenbay - I can't say enough about what a perfect lake house rental this is. I live on Lake Norman and we rented this home for the rest of the family. This house is situated in a large cove - just perfect for tubing, kayaking, fishing, boating, etc. A huge plus is the beach area - it was great as the kids could play on the beach, we could all easily walk right into the lake, launch the kayaks from the beach and park the jet ski and pontoon on the beach. If you are going to rent a house on the lake - you must have a beach - this house has a large beach area, dock, outdoor shower, which came in so handy, plenty of tables and lounge chairs on the deck, washer and dryer and a garage. We already booked for next year!!! Finally, The Lodge at Greenbay is located near grocery stores, restaurants and gas stations - you do not have to go far for anything. The property manager was very accommodating and wonderful to work with! I highly recommend this property.

Sunshine and family at Lake Norman!

We had such an awesome time at the Lodge at Green Bay on Lake Norman. The location was fantastic, only minutes from the grocery store and any shopping needs, plus the lake front location was ideal with the boat dock and beach! We spent countless hours relaxing/fishing off the dock, relaxing at the beach and using the super fun Cabana bar with ice bucket! For our kids, ranging from 4-17, they just loved the downstairs floor with all of the games. Shuffleboard was a fan favorite along with the fooseball table. The last day we setup a games competition for the entire family with shuffleboard, fooseball, Cornhole, ladder ball, etc. Having all of those fun activities onsite added to the beautiful house and location. The house has clearly been recently updated and the kitchen was wonderful, with everything you need. The top floor is solo spacious with huge windows and sliding doors as you go out onto the large deck. So excited to return to this house in the future as it just felt so comfortable and welcoming. Beautiful Lakeview

We had such a wonderful stay. The back porch had the most beautiful view of the lake. The boys had fun fishing off the fantastic dock. Relaxation and family time. Note We did have an issue with lock on one sliding door going out to porch. Just wanted you to be aware. Thank you!

Almost perfect

The property was great but could have been better. A family member was sitting in one of the chairs and a cockroach crawled out and across her hair. This happened twice and I found 2 other's in different rooms. It just made it uncomfortable to sit on the furniture always waiting for a cockroach to appear. Not something I expected for the price we paid.There were spider webs everywhere inside and out. When I called management they sent someone over immediately to clear the webs but said and did nothing about the cockroaches. The house was well equipped with pots pans utensils. Beds were comfortable and plenty of space for everyone. Property overall was "almost perfect ". I would highly recommend this house for your family stay.

Nice lake

The lake was nice. The home is located in a quiet cove. The beach was not in great shape due to storm damage which made it somewhat difficult to get down to the sand. Hopefully this will be fixed soon. The home was serviceable. The Property managers were very responsive, personable and effecient.

Relaxing Getaway

Our family really enjoyed this property and it had many amenities. The location on the lake was great being on the cove so there wasn't a ton of boat traffic. This made it nice for us to swim from the beach and by the dock. Kayaks and life jackets were included as well as some pool noodles to float on. The inside of the house seemed to be well maintained and was clean. We were somewhat disappointed with the property outside though during our stay. It was obvious the lawn and gutters to the house haven't really been maintained other than the weekly service of the grass being cut. The beach which is one of the reasons we booked this property had wood stakes with caution tape around them on part of it because it looked like there was an erosion problem. For how expensive this property was, it would have been nice if this was fixed before our visit.

Room with a view

One the greatest features of this property is the view seen of the lake. The inlet is quite large and is an extension from the main part of the lake. This provides a beautiful tranquil view facing mostly west that my family enjoyed when swimming, boating, and jet skiing. Just beautiful.

Lake Norman Spring relax

Gorgeous views on. a beautiful lake-front property. All ages found things to enjoy at this vacation home, inside and out. Some of us suffered from allergies and colds so could not totally enjoy the vacation.

Great location, beautiful view

This property is right on the water with a very scenic view. It is also close to town for restaurants, grocery stores, etc. There are a total of 3.5 bathrooms, with 3 bedrooms (including the bunk room) having open access to 1 of the full baths - one of those 3 also has access to a private half bath. This is a great place to entertain and enjoy the outdoors!

Family vacation

Nice spot for our spring break. Within easy driving distance of most of our family. Good kitchen and grill, and lots of close grocery options, we didn’t need to go out for dinner. Close to a short nature trail for hiking above the nearby quarry and it is a short drive to the lake Norman state park, which has more extensive trails. Sandy beach and dock suitable for swimming if you like cold water which we had several takers. Two adult and two kids kayaks got used a lot. And there’s a fire pit, but no wood pile. Game room with football, air hockey, and a bag toss game was nice. Xbox room but no game discs. Lots of movie dvds and stocked bookshelfs. Good Wi-Fi and a nice area with tables for checking in at the office. Huge open great room with dining table and family room with tv and 2 couches one is a fold out, and recliner chairs. Nice deck lakeside and great sunsets.

This property was gorgeous! Everything they said it would be and more. Everyone at Southern Charm vacations was so accomodating and great to deal with. Can't wasit to go back!
