Looking for that perfect getaway in Kentucky? Zoey's Place is a secluded and private home on Lake Barkley. You can live in the lap of luxury while still experiencing some of the natural beauty of Southern Kentucky. With beautiful views, tranquil surroundings, and a hot tub to help you relax after a long day, this place is perfect for any occasion. This home has year around water at the dock and great for FISHING!



The Space:

* 3 Bed

* 2 Private balconies with lake view

* Private dock w/ 1 boat slip

* Stocked firewood by the lake

* Top Customer Service 8am-11pm

* Pups are welcome with a $200 pet fee. Please keep them off the furniture to avoid extra cleaning fees



** IMPORTANT: Lake Access Disclosure: **

Our home sits right on beautiful Lake Barkley, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. However, please note that there is no traditional beach or cleared waterfront access directly on the property. While you may be able to wade into the water, lake access from the property is partial and can be impacted by weather—especially after storms, which may wash logs and natural debris onto the shoreline.



Guest Access:

Single-level home - You will have access to the entire home, the driveway, backyard, and the dock with 1 boat slip and lifts except for the loft sleeping area and the steps leading down to the lake.



The Neighborhood:

This is a very family and pet friendly neighborhood. About as peaceful as them come. Please respect the neighbours.

Our Boat Rental Partner :

Rent your boats here at Enjoylakebarkley. The boat rentals are $300 a day and they will drop off and pick it up for a fee of $50.

We enjoyed our stay on this property. Large yard, quiet neighborhood and a great little fire pit. Quick responses from the owners. The house was very clean and spacious for our family. I would definitely stay here again!

My wife and I stayed here with our puppies to celebrate our 15th Anniversary. The property is very nice and the host was very helpful and very responsive. We had a relaxing time, enjoyed some of the local sights and eateries, some reading and some fishing. Enjoyed seeing deer and other wildlife. We would definitely stay here again.

BEWARE! Photos of property online are very old. None of the outdoor spaces including screened in porch are well maintained. Many loose boards and nails sticking up in high traffic areas including stairs. Dead bugs on the floor indoors and on screened in porch. We were without decent cookware and knives for the 1st 2 days of our stay. Mold in bathroom sinks and tub drains. Cookware and knives were replaced, cleaning and maintenance crews were sent, HOWEVER, my vacation plans did not include having to be on the VRBO app with property management company multiple times a day EVERY day for 6 days. I had booked this property before a couple of the most recent reviews that commented negatively about the cleanliness had been posted or I would never have chosen this property. BE FORWARNED!

House was big enough but could have been cleaner. All the doors in the house stuck and were extremely hard to open and close. The hot tub was nice! There were trees down right by the dock that should have been cleaned up.

A great spot!

Spent a long weekend here with friends. The house is great and met our needs well. We love the different spaces that kids and adults could enjoy: screened in deck and porch, hot tub area, fire pit, dock and water. The kids kept busy and had lots of fun options. The lake cove is perfect for going and coming on the boat all day. The house was well stocked and comes with lots of good toys to use on land and the water. The house was clean inside and very comfortable. Great beds too! Our only suggestions are to take a pressure washer to the screen porch and dock area. They has so many cobwebs, spiders, and just looked dirty. Also, the fire pit area had a bunch of rusty nails on the ground that a kid stepped on. These are easily remedied suggestions. We would come back again in a heartbeat!

Hosted thanksgiving here

Perfect cabin for the family. It was clean and relaxing. They were very accommodating for dogs and kids as well. The lake was beautiful. Would highly recommend this stay.

Exactly what the Doctor Ordered

We were exhausted from a very busy lady few months. We rested & enjoyed every moment. We traveled with our two beagles, who were right at home. Thank you! We wished that 1 shower was a walk in. It was extremely difficult to get in & out, but only 1 traveler was unable to use the shower

Great accommodations on awesome lake

Property is great! All essentials are provided…(kitchen, bath, linens, etc) Just bring swim towels. The lake is great! We swam, kayaked, rented a boat….. Pretty isolated, not much nearby…which is just fine for family bonding. The game room was a hit! Great trip!

Our Favorite.

We travel for work and book a lot of VBROs. This property will be a repeat for future family trips. Anything you can imagine… the amenities were endless. Hot tub was hot, fire pit was ready to start, s’mores station was stocked and there were more than enough towels and dishes to take care of us and our adult children. It might seem like a lot of minor things but they did add up to a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Spectacular Listing!

We rented this for Christmas this year. There were eight of us total, three families and our dogs. It exceeded our expectations! The views were amazing, the rental was super clean when we checked in and it was one of the best stocked rentals we have ever stayed in! In! It had everything you need and more! The beds were very comfortable. Normally twin beds or bunk beds can be very uncomfortable, but they work great for adults and were some of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in! We give this listing of five star all the way around! Not one single complaint!

Perfect getaway

Our star was amazing. It was a perfect house for our Friend vacation. The house is laid is perfectly and had so many spaces to hang out. Would recommend 100% to book this house. Communication with Allen was great.

Overall this is a great Rental and we will return or refer to friends. The home is roomy, well stocked and had all the amenities as described. We did not have internet service for most of our stay but fortunately this was not an issue for us. Beds were comfy and plenty of linens were available. We found the overall stay as excellent.

Amazing!

The house was so cute. My girls loved the bunk beds and game room. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee pot, pots/pans, hand towels, silverware, etc. Loved going to the dock and fishing during the day. Was such a great place for a relaxing vacation. We will definitely be back!

Awesome House

Everything was amazing except we were disappointed that the fireplace was gas not wood burning. And it was not functional. The game room was nice but too cold in there. One other thing I would have liked is a security lock on the inside that can’t be opened from the outside.
