The 3 bed, 3 bath, 2 common area house is built into the hillside overlooking the Lake. With guest kayaks, arcade games, board games, a full kitchen, a basketball court/playground park across the street, and a breathtaking view of sunset and sunrise over the lake- it is fair to say this house has something for everyone to enjoy.
Near to the Pro-Football HOF, Kent University, Akron University, Downtown Akron, The Portage Lakes, Wayside Furniture, Hartville Market, and just 40 minutes to Downtown Cleveland this piece of paradise is right in the middle of everything you need.
So get everyone together, put the rowdiest of you in the basement gameroom theater and enjoy your time gathering in Bear's cover.

Wonderful place to stay

I was pleasantly surprised with all of the extras that were included. We were in Ohio for a wedding and I was making the wedding cake. I brought what I knew I would need but it was really nice to see the kitchen had many items I hadn't thought about needing so it made things way better for me to accomplish my tasks. The only critique I would make is that the porch light didn't work. Since we had our dogs with us it was a bit too dark at night to take them out. Otherwise it was clean , quiet and comfortable

A great place for a family with small kids!

It was a great place! There are many stairs but we felt so comfortable and not worried about the littles getting into things. There was enough space for all 14 of us! We had plenty of bathroom space and so many things were supplied in th kitchen. Thanks for a great weekend!

Beautiful View…Eagles Aloft!

This was the hub for “Cousins Week”, our annual family vacation. Nana, Papa, two sons, their wives and four grand girls❣️ The spacious rooms and adequate sleeping accommodations allowed us to enjoy the week together. It was equidistant to several Akron attractions, Cuyahoga Valley National Park and Portage Lake (closest swimming beach). Upgrading the one full bed to a queen would have added needed comfort for our tall men. The 4 girls took over the basement where bunk beds, futons and a spare mattress easily accommodated their needs. The kitchen was very well stocked and an ALDIs delivery made grocery buying simple. Giant Eagle store was close by. The arcade game and big screen were enjoyed by all. The manager was prompt in responding to our linen inquiry during our stay. Watching eagles fly over the lake from the large front windows was a definite bonus!

Perfect lake views

We were in town for the HOF enshrinement weekend for my nephews birthday! The house has some of the best lake views especially the living room while enjoying your morning coffee. The downstairs arcade games along with the extra table and chairs made for the perfect game room! The house had everything we needed to make our stay seamless!

Wonderful stay!

We enjoyed our stay here. Was nice that they kitchen was stocked with things one usually doesn't bring on trips. The usable garage was a nice feature. Would stay here again.

Great family reunion location

My husband and I and our 5 kids met up here for four nights with my husband’s brother/wife/5 kids. There was room for all of us and was great to have the basement room with the mat and games for the kids to get loud in a separate area from the adults. There were also enough folding tables and folding chairs to accommodate all of us for eating meals, which is not always the case at other rentals. The decor was quirky for sure, not really my style but it’s not my house! Kids enjoyed the kayaks, and it was great to have the playground across the street since there wasn’t a fenced place to play at the VRBO.

A Must Stay For The Price

The house is right across from the lake (beautiful view). Very spacious with all the comforts of home. Can't wait to come back when its warmer and be able to spend more time outside. Thanks Brad.

The open gathering spaces, closeness to everything, and the amenities are just what you need for any group gathering.
Both national chain restaurants and adorable local favorites are everywhere, you have over 8 grocery stores within 10 minutes, and anything else you may need is not far away.
The basement features a firestick hooked into a projector, with an HDMI cord that can hook into your device and play in the theater.
We also have foosball, Mortal Kombat, and a Atri-style game console with over 100 different games- there are 10 different types of Pacman alone.
