I recently stayed here with my family and we visited Sequoia National Park. This home was minutes away from the beautiful national park entrance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and James was attentive and available when I needed him. Would love to visit again.

Perfect location to come back to after a long day of hiking. The house was clean and the view from the backyard is amazing. The kids loved it!

We loved this mountain retreat!

Fantastic house in a stunning location. The hot tub was great. We have no complaints and would stay again if ever back in the area. We saw tons of wildlife throughout our 3 day stay, including a baby deer, a buck, turkeys, lizards.

We enjoyed our stay, house was nice, area and location was great. I have stayed in many VRBO rentals and this one was just OK. The reason is because it is missing simple things like washcloths. No bowls with lids or plastic wrap nothing and it’s not like you can run down the street to the store. It’s a long ways away. Also there’s no dressers so you don’t really have anything to put your luggage on or anywhere to put your things away so that’s really inconvenient, It’s just very minimal compared to other places I’ve stayed. We did have an issue with the chemicals being wrong on the hot tub, but the owner was very responsive and had somebody come out right away and fix it. Tim was great getting the hot tub back up and running. We didn’t use the screen porch because the screen is not attached at the bottom and it was full of bugs (and a tarantula )and it was very dirty, which was a shame because it would’ve been nice to sit out there if it was clean and enjoy the beautiful view. With a little better cleaning and a lot more maintenance this place could be wonderful.

This house is beautiful. The views are spectacular from all the windows. Nice little property outside for the kids to explore. Hot tub was great after long days in the park.

Great location (near Sequoia National Park), great views, and layout. Very kid friendly, quiet and peaceful. Suggestions for improvement: Missing bear box for garbage, Water in hot tub green, Kitchen needs: scouring powder, more towels, containers with lids, baggies, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, more paper towels Bedrooms need: dressers or more closet shelves, more lights, Bathrooms: no sink stopper in small bathroom, no plunger, no bath tub mat (or no-slip strips), poorly labeled shower supplies, mis-labeled bottle of hair conditioner, Linens: no wash cloths, no extra sheets (for air mattress- which leaks), and Scatter rugs & area rugs are a trip hazard (corners are curled), are slippery and thread bare. We recommend supplying laundry detergent and add the cost to the rent.

Great cabin in a beautiful location

My family and I had a wonderful time at the cabin. The location is beautiful and the house very well equipped with everything you need and a lot of games to spend the evening! We had just a little problem entering the property but everything went well at the end and we had a wonderful experience!

An incredible view and privacy at Sequoia National Park

Every view from the house was incredible. We enjoyed sitting on the swing overlooking the valley and taking time to relax as a family. The house was comfortable with air conditioning and places to cook and hang out. Sitting under the stars in the hot tub was a great way to end the day in the park.

Fun, Cozy, Great Location

Lovely property with a great location right outside of Sequoia National Park. The home has fun things to do both inside and out (shuffle board, Pop-a-Shot basketball, hot tub). Very large yard in the hills with great views. The host was very accommodating to our requests and was excellent to communicate with.

This property has a beautiful view of the mountain tops and you can hear the rushing river down below. The house was very clean and had lots of things to enjoy like a fire pit, jacuzzi, grilling, and much more.

The perfect get-away

My kids called this the “home on a hill” and have asked when we can stay here again. Between the ball yard swing and basketball shootout game, they were happily entertained in our downtime. The home was well set up with everything we needed, and it was a great space for us to enjoy when we weren’t exploring Sequoia National Park.

Fantastic vacation home, highly recommended

We stayed here for two nights while we were visiting Sequoia National Park. The home is very close to the entrance of the park and convienient in that regard and the ammenities were perfect for our family. The ping pong table and hot tub were great to have while getting situated for the day and relaxing at night under the stars at night. Enough room to spread out with each of our boys getting their own room it was a nice change from all sleeping together in a hotel. Easy access, great views, very relaxing. Would come again for sure.

Nice home in secluded neighborhood 2 miles from Sequoia south entrance. Spacious for two couples or large family. Basic amenities, including a jacuzzi, WiFi, Smart tv etc. property is as advertised and photos are representative of the property. Owner engaged with tenant and easy to reach thru VRBO. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
