The house has serious systems Issues including plumbing, electric, and water supply, as well as some smaller irritants that can make it difficult to enjoy. Essentially, the house does not have air conditioning when you need it. From 11AM to 4PM, when outside was hot, between 87 and 90 degrees, and the sun is on the house, we could not get air conditioning below 84. The home is designed to take advantage of to cool the home. But the screens cannot be closed, to shut the air out and allow for air conditioning. So when it’s 87 degrees, they are constantly blowing hot and humid outside air. The unit can’t compete. The hot water tripped the electrical box constantly, and we were shown to reset the breaker so we could get hot water. The fans do not have remotes that reliably work. The living room we got the remote to work once, then could not turn it off, so we used the electrical box. The bedroom worked some in week two. The dishwasher needs to be started multiple times and often does not complete a cycle. You cannot flush toilet paper. You put it in a wastebasket. We lost water to the development on a weekend, and they worked to get it back up, on Sunday. We were asked to flush the toilets using buckets of pool water, which we did. The owner stayed 30 feet away in her "neighbor's casita" when we declined her request to stay on the property during negotiation. We were found in violation of a number of house rules, while trying to make do with a less than ideal arrangement.
