Hello Janet. Thank you for your review. Our house managers do their very best to answer all client requests in a timely manner. We apologize about the delay in getting water. However, our managers let us know that many of your requests were cancelled after they procured what you had asked for, including lessons, appointments and even the pool floats (which we generally do not make available to guests). It’s not cool to leave a bad review about people who are working hard to make your stay as easy as possible if you do not extend the same respect to them.

Hello Margaret, Thank you for your feedback. As a guest, you were a pretty big disappointment as well. As you correctly state in your review, we do count the guests staying at our home, and charge rates accordingly. We do not appreciate it when guests lie to us as you did, and trick us by bringing more guests than stated on the rental agreement. And even despite your bringing more guests than you told us about, we reduced the extra guest fee when you asked, as a good will gesture. Nosara is growing quickly, and the location of our home is one of the best in Guiones. Because of this, there is quite a bit of construction in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, pure peace and quiet is only found up in the mountains these days, but if you choose to stay up there, then you are not walking distance to the beach. You had options when choosing a house, and construction is a known fact in Guiones these days. That is not our fault, nor is there anything we can do about that. We have been renting our home in Nosara for over 10 years and have had only excellent reviews. Our house manager is a favorite among guests and our staff are the trusted keepers of our home when we are not there. We are sorry you had a bad experience at Las Brisas. You are in the extreme minority and hope your future stays in Nosara are not with us.
