Welcome home to your oasis in the middle of Royal Oak MI! You truly feel you are in the Blue Lagoon with the heated salt water pool. Dry yourself off in a spacious sauna right in the garage. The garage has been fully remodeled and offers the most relaxing environment to be in. Enjoy this home with an outdoor heated salt water pool and plenty of space to enjoy. Directly across the street, you can enjoy tennis courts, basketball hoop, baseball fields, soccer nets and much more.
The space
This home is a four bedroom, three full bathroom home with plenty of room. The downstairs has two bedrooms, with a full bathroom with easy access. There is a master suite upstairs with a fully remodeled bathroom with stand up shower. The basement also features another bedroom with a full bathroom very easily accessible. There is a futon couch as well that can comfortably sleep another guest. The main attraction is the beautiful backyard with a heated in-ground salt water pool. We have recently changed it to salt water as the feedback has been phenomenal. The pool stays at a perfect temperature all season long. An amazing sauna was added along with tons of new additions. We have full LED lighting all throughout the trim along with comfortable reclining couches with surround sound and a TV to enjoy. There also is a ping pong table, speed bag, putting green and even a gas heater to stay plenty warm. The flooring is a thick layered epoxy flooring with an oasis feel. There has been plenty of art work also added to set the perfect tone.

A lock away closet in the basement is not accessible.
Other things to note
If you are new to the area, or just looking to get away for a few days, this home offers anything you are looking for. I am always accessible and will provide my cell phone number to any new guest who arrive. If you are seeking advice on what to do or where to go, the service comes with a full understanding to the area! The back yard is the ideal hang out spot to relax and kick back. . In the event of a lock out there is a number in the manual to call to coordinate how to get into the home.

Perfect house for my family

My 2 daughters and their families and my husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this house. The saltwater pool was great! The Detroit Zoo is very close.

Wonderful!

We had a great time during our stay! The pool and game room were absolutely clutch for the kids and kept them entertained all day and night. The property was well equipped and clean. The owner was also extremely responsible and professional. We will definitely stay here again. One of our better rental experiences.

Best Spot in Royal Oak

This was the an absolute perfect spot for Royal Oak and Detroit. The host is awesome and very accommodating. The garage is the coolest hangout spot. Everything was perfect.

Great family home

This place was great for my husband and I and my son and daughter-in-law and their kids 6 & 9. We were in town for a wedding and this house was so much fun that everyone wanted to meet up here. The heated saltwater pool was great along with the converted garage with it’s ping pong table and TV area to watch sports. Absolutely was a great place for our family and friends.

Thank you Jennifer for the stay, we are sorry you had difficulty getting it to work. We did send instructions that activate the sauna. Previous guests used those same instructions and seemed to have got it to turn on. I also stopped by to make sure it functions correct and got it on. Hopefully if you book again I can perhaps come by and show you how to function it.

Perfect place for our group

Peter went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional! House, garage, pool, and outside were all very clean and ready for our stay. It was an awesome time and would highly recommend!! Peter was an amazing host and his hospitality was top of the line! Thank you for the gift as well!! We will definitely be back!

Overall very positive experience. Peter was very responsive to our needs and even stopped by to drop off towels and show us how to use the place. Cool dude. A few of the beds could use an upgrade and the pillows could be as well, but not a deal breaker. All in all good spot.

Pool and games

The pool was good and the games were used by the kids. Two of the bathrooms are laid out different but usable. The space was more than adequate. I would suggest that the owner leave an information booklet on how to use items and when garbage day is but all went well.

Nice but could have been cleaner

Nice for a group of friends. lots of bedrooms & bathrooms. heated pool was awesome! The house wasn't the cleanest. Dog pee on the floor in the living room, some type of poop up stairs in bedroom closet, bugs like spiders & centipedes in a lot of the rooms, basement had water issue, the carpet was wet. I believe they had a flooded basement before we arrived. They also had big rats outside getting in our trash both nights when we were outside. Rat poop was also next to the pool floats on the ground.

Thank you Bianca for your stay but I am a reluctant to believe the accuracy to this review. The home gets fully detailed and cleaned in between every guest. There are photos taken of the home from our turn down service and no evidence of all the deification you are referring to. An outdoor animal is unfortunately part of nature we have to accept and a rat being outside is something that can not be controlled. Upon your check out also your group left several lights on, towels outside of the home and also received a noise complaint from our neighbors.

Awesome place to hand out

Great location in Royal Oak. Nice, quiet neighborhood. interior was nice - with many upgrades. Bedrooms were very comfortable. Kitchen handled Thanksgiving - which is saying something. The dining room table is fantastic. It was a great place for the dinner with all the fixings but also worked well for computer games and work. The highlight is the "hangout" factor. Comfortable chairs and couches in the basement, first floor and the converted garage entertainment Mecca. No shortage of TV's. The entertainment Mecca was awesome. Not that we're competitive, but there were friendly wages on putting, ping pong and the NBA arcade game. It was a blast. No pool obviously (since it was November) but that can only add to the fun. The host was also fantastic - easy to communicate with and accommodated a little tweak that was unexpectedly needed.

Check in was easy and the cleanliness overall was acceptable however there are issues that should be addressed. The pool was dirty including broken tiles at the bottom. We were told someone would be coming Monday or Tuesday to vacuum but that did not happen. The grill was very gross and therefore unusable. The separate game house was in good order. There were random solo cups found in various areas of the main house that had clearly been sitting there a long time (dried residue of some prior beverage or substance or mold) Both coffee makers were not working. No towels were in any bathrooms and all were located in the basement. The dishwasher was completely full when we arrived so we had to unload that ourselves. The dryer was also full so we had to unload that as well. Two used semi damp towels were still hanging over the upstairs shower door at arrival. Pros: the outside area is good for entertaining and the pool was definitely a perk. Game room was fun. If the above things were addressed I would stay again.

It offers amenities that many homes do not. It features a heated, salt water pool that stays at the most perfect temperature. It also has a fully renovated garage, with custom LED lights, a beautiful epoxy floor, comfortable couches, ping pong table and a six person sauna. The upstairs recently had a fully custom full bathroom built with the most comfortable beds to enjoy. It is very spacious and perfect for a get away. The home makes you never want to leave by featuring a large video game selection, comfortable couches and huge TVs to enjoy also.
