This is a recently renovated cozy cape home with modern additions and amenities. It is bright and clean, with enough space to enjoy time together, or to retire by yourself for a bit. Centrally located between Rockland, Port Clyde, Owls Head and more, it's a short 5-10 minute drive to various coastline destinations! If you decide to stay in, amenities include wifi, parking, private property, multiple smart TVs, Washer/Dryer, outdoor deck and BBQ, basement arcade and video games, foosball and rebound table games, and more.

Great place! Great location!

We loved our stay and the host are so sweet! Loved the added touch of a blueberry pie. Clean and very cute property. The location is really fabulous super close to Camden and Rockland. We felt right at home! Thank you for everything!

Very convenient cottage

As many have noted the hosts are great to work with, house immaculate, etc. And that is certainly true, but the convenience and central location cannot be overstated. Beaches, parks, food, etc. are minutes away. It was great to meet you both and wish you the very best.

Cozy & comfortable

This was the perfect place for us to stay! We came to Maine to visit family and the cottage was close to them as well as great restaurants, shopping and many activities/sights to see. The house has everything you could need for up to 6 adults with extra special touches throughout. James was extremely helpful and had a great guide book. The kitchen was well stocked, the game room and board games were great for family time and there wasn’t a single thing we needed during our stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again!!

Great Home Base for MidCoast Exploration

The cottage was spotless, the accommodations cozy and comfortable. We were pleased with the location for exploring the coast. The window AC units were enough to take the humidity and heat down on the couple 80+ days we were there. Hosts were helpful and the resources at the cottage were perfect. Who doesn't like to be welcomed with a blueberry pie??? Highly recommend the Weskeag Cottage.

Perfect midcoast location

We really enjoyed our stay and the thoughtfulness of the hosts. The house had exactly what we needed for a family of 5 for a week. We've stayed in this area a lot and the location is perfect to get to many of our favorite spots quickly including Rockland and Crescent Beach. The host was also very responsive and responded to messages and questions very quickly. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it would have been nice to be a little farther from the main road (obviously not in the owners' control).

Loved Maine and loved our stay!

Had such a great experience! Their recommendations were so helpful for the area and such a nice touch. The house was very clean, cozy, and comfortable. We also booked with James for family pictures and they turned out amazing! Literally nothing we could complain about or be upset about. Thank you again!

It was fairly close to work locations, and it was nice to feel like we were at home. We were disappointed there was no a/c units or ability to install them.

Amazing property!

My partner and I had a great experience staying here! James is a great host and so easy to communicate with. We really loved the home it was very clean and it was very much appreciated that James came early and turned the heat on. I loved the small touches they provide to make your stay feel luxurious! Free socks and slippers, a bag of local coffee, and a welcome packet with all sorts of recommendations of things to see and do and taste nearby. Highly recommend to stay here if you’re coming to the owls head, Rockland, Camden area!

Weskeag Cottage Getaway

What an amazing home! The house is cozy and comfortable. The owners have thought of pretty much everything you will need for a day out hiking and enjoying the Maine coast, or for staying in and playing board games. The house even has arcade games, video games, and a foosball table to keep the kids happy. They even had a welcome blueberry pie waiting for us upon our arrival. The home is centrally located to quaint villages and lighthouses and beaches. We would highly recommend booking Weskeag Cottage for your next Maine adventure.

Wonderful home

We were there visiting family in Owls Head. The check in was so easy. Loved the location, very shaded. Never really need to use the air conditioning at all. Everything you could possibly need was provided. The owners were very kind and even left a homemade blueberry pie for us which I thought was a lovely touch. It is a very cute home and extremely comfortable. Spotlessly clean. Definitely will stay there again when in Maine.

Maine vacation

We love this area and, now, this house. James and Laureh are excellent hosts and provided many necessities to make our stay most pleasant - beginning with the blueberry pie. Thanks again! This house is located in an area with great sightseeing (within an hour or so) potential, shopping for any and every thing and and some delicious eateries for all tastes. From the game room to the upstair's bedrooms, the house is immaculate and comfortable at the same time. We will definitely keep this rental high on the "" return to" list for next Fall. It was a wonderful stay!

Private wooded surrounding, close to everything the midcoast has to offer!

This impeccably clean and updated home was absolutely perfect for our winter holiday trip to Maine, and our hosts made it all the more wonderful. We had all the amenities needed for a five-day stay that included home-cooked meals, entertainment for our teens, and evenings of games with local family members. Bonus – it's a stone's throw from the 'Keag store, a local staple for the best breakfast sandwiches and crab rolls in the area! If you're looking for a quiet stay, that's a close drive to everything, this is the one.

Home away from home

Weskeag Cottage is a cute, cozy hideaway in a wooded residential neighborhood. It is inviting with super clean rooms and well appointed with all necessary items for a home away from home feel. Hosts Laureh and James have done an outstanding job with a synopsis of activities, restaurants and local attractions which made for quick reference with dining and sightseeing. We enjoyed the comfort of the cottage and the bonus game room with visiting friends. When headed to the mid coast we will be sure to check availability of this gem first.
