Beautiful, spacious 3 bedroom cabin that sleeps 12-14, 2.5 baths with a very open concept. Large open kitchen, perfect for gatherings. Bunk beds in both upstairs bedrooms as well as queen beds. Trundle bed in master bedroom with an additional king bed. Features a heated and AC garage with bar and game room that has plenty of room to pull in your ATVs/UTVs/Snowmobiles. On the ATV trail and is 10 minutes from Black River Falls and 5 minutes to Hatfield.

Brought family out to ride atv trails and to have a relaxing getaway.. this cabin was very clean, beautiful, well stocked, and thoughtful of its guests. The stay was comfortable and memorable with plenty of room for everyone. I would recommend this cabin to anyone and would enjoy another stay. A very lovely place.

Plenty of room inside and out to relax and have fun. 4.5 miles to Lake Arbitus beach is convenient. Kitchen had everything we could possibly need and more. Garage Game Room and giant Fire Ring came in handy as well.

Great cabin!

We stayed here to attend a friend’s wedding in the area and had a great stay! The host was very helpful, I wish we had the time to stay longer.

Perfect getaway

I stayed for 2 nights with a groups of friends and 2 dogs, it was everything we wished for and more. Plenty of room for everyone and great amenities. Would definely stay again!

Labor Day get away

Perfect set up for 3 couples. Location was ideal for side by side trails and getting into Hatfield for gas and food. Cabin was exceptionally clean and everything we needed for our weekend.

Beautiful Home and Space

House is in a great location with plenty of room both inside and out. Home i well stocked with anything you may possibly need. Dan is a great host and very responsive to our calls and texts. Would definitely stay again!

Quiet spot in the trees

We had a couple families stay in the house for a wedding. Accommodations were great...had everything we needed. The setting is very relaxing...and could see many evenings enjoyed around the fire pit on this property

Relaxing getaway

Perfect!! House is super clean with lots of room for everyone to spread out. Very well stocked kitchen making it super easy to make a full meal. TONS of outdoor seating with a large fire pit. Will definitely stay here again.

Winter getaway...

Came with a good size group, house worked perfectly. Nice size kitchen, dining family room for everyone. Cozy with the wood burning stove on a chilly evening. Easy access and ample parking.

perfect family retreat

We had an amazing time at Powerhouse! Plenty of room beautiful space, all the amenities one would need, and a garage for fun games! Really was top notch! We spent our days at Lake Arbutus. We swam, kayaked, paddle boarded, and canoed. In the evenings we found a great spot to take the kids fishing on the Black River. Highly recommend The Powerhouse Cabin!

Family Vacation

We stayed with our kids and grandkids to celebrate our 31st anniversary! This place was absolutely perfect, with everything we needed. The location for ranger riding was perfect and there was plenty of room for three trucks and trailers along with other vehicles. It was also wonderful that our kids could bring their two dogs as well. Plenty of room for all of us and the fire pit is amazing!!! We will most definitely be back.

Powerhouse Paradise

Powerhouse Cabin was perfect for our large family. Plenty of space to relax after a full day on Lake Arbutus (a short 5 miles away). And even more space outside including the huge fire ring + chairs. The kitchen was fully equipped and then some. The laundry room and two showers (w/hot water on demand) sure came in handy for cleaning up after fun filled days. Kudos to our hosts. Definitely will look to stay there in the future.

Amazing stay!

We stayed at Powerhouse Cabin with a group of 10 and it was awesome! Nice and clean, access to laundry and a full kitchen. Also access to a game room/garage….it was very nice being able to lock up our UTVs at night. Plenty of beds and room for a larger group. But the best part was the outside. Nice patio and fire pit area….and TONS of yard space. We had kids ranging from age 6-13 and it was nice to have plenty of space for them to play, when we weren’t riding!! And it was only about 4 miles to access the trail system. We look forward to staying here again!!

Great cabin!!

This is our 2nd time staying at Powerhouse cabin. It has everything you need . Plenty of room for the entire family to be able to hang out and relax either in the cabin or the garage/game room. area. Kitchen has what is needed to make meals. It is close to Bruce Mound for skiing and tubing. which is why we stayed here. Communication with Dan was great. .

Great Cabin and Location

We went for a long weekend SxS trip and the cabin and property were great for what we were looking for. The cabin is very nice and clean. The property had plenty of space for our trucks and trailers. The house is far away from Hatfield and Black River Falls, but not too far. The trails are easy enough to access through Hatfield by SxS from the cabin. We are already discussing the same trip for next year. Dan was very communicative and willing to help give us directions. I highly recommend this property.

Wonderful family gathering place

We met for Christmas at this lovely VRBO. It was the perfect size for our family. Everything was spotlessly clean and Dan had provided so many thoughtful extras. He even had the place decorated for Christmas for us. We felt so much at home and have plenty of room to enjoy the fellowship and our time together. The kitchen was very well stocked and we had no problem making the meals and treats we wanted to to make the holidays special. When we had a couple of questions Dan answered us right away. We will definitely be back if we have the opportunity.

special day special stay

I have multiple reasons to give the property 5 stars. First of all my daughter was getting married and we had multiple trucks packed to the brim and a rehearsal dinner to get to at the same time as our check in. Dan was very kind and was willing to allow us an early check in. Thank you number one. Next, we had to stay until 1 am cleaning up the venue, and aside from the fun festivities slowing our morning down, we were exhausted and had to pack all our wedding gear back into the trucks. Dan was kind enough to give us an extra hour to check out. Thank you number two. Finally ten minutes before pulling out with all our family members and full trucks my keys got locked in the car! We waited for AAA for over an hour and Dan was very patient and insisted we wait inside the house and out of the heat. He had genuine concern for our situation and even checked in to see how our mishap turned out. Thank you number three! Aside from his genuine kindness the house was very clean and accommodated our family nicely. The kitchen was spacious with all the necessary amenities. The bedrooms had lots of space and there were beds for everyone. The extra space with the bar and foosball table was fun but our already busy schedule didn't allow us to fully enjoy all there was to offer. I would definitely come stay here again and highly recommend it if you've got a wedding at Burlap and Bells or just enjoying some time away from the city. A big thank you to Dan for a fun stay!
