11 Acre Wood - Cabin getaway - fishing/swimming pond - hot tub

Welcome to 11 Acre Wood!
Relax at our log cabin and enjoy the sounds of nature. Take a walk on the trail through the private forest or paddle the canoe out on our pond. Located around 5 minutes away from the artsy towns of Douglas and Saugatuck, there is plenty to enjoy in town as well.

INSIDE THE HOME
The main floor has a living room with soaring ceilings and a wood-burning fireplace for chilly nights. Next to the living room is a large dining table and spacious kitchen that features a large island, two ovens and sub-zero fridge. Pots and pans, dishes and utensils are available for guests to use. On the main floor you will also find two bedrooms and a full bath.
Upstairs includes the large master bedroom with full bath overlooking the private pond.
The lower level is a place you can get cozy and watch a movie or read a book in front of the gas fireplace. You will also find the laundry room, full bathroom, and large bedroom that sleeps 5. If needed, the sofa in the t.v. room pulls out to a queen-sized bed for extra sleepers.
There is one more bedroom and half bathroom above the attached garage.

OUTDOOR SPACE
You can dine in the open-air on the patio located outside the kitchen or enjoy the fire pit and Adirondack chairs while taking in the stars. On the pond side of the house relax on the rocking chairs on the covered porch while sipping your morning coffee. And just below, you will find the hot tub and seating area to take in the view of the beach and pond. Fishing poles, outdoor games, snow shoes and sleds are available if you are looking for something more active. The property also has its own little sandy beach. Wildlife can be seen roaming around including wild turkeys, deer, ducks, geese, and cranes.

THE LOCATION
Our cabin, located just outside Douglas and Saugatuck is the perfect place to get away into nature, while still being close to all the great restaurants, shops and art galleries the area has to offer. Visit nearby breweries, wineries and orchards as you explore the charming towns dotted along the coast of western Michigan
