The Hale O Hulu is our economy Ohana for travelers looking to experience the golden Kona Coast on a more affordable budget. The unit is attached to the main house, yet fully private with its own entrance. It consists of one room and one bathroom with a shower. The bedroom and bathroom and kitchenette are on the same level and are kept cool with an air conditioning unit. ENJOY this fully furnished studio. This unit features an AC unit, a cozy queen-sized bed, a queen sofa bed, beautiful artwork and textiles, and games for downtime in a room. A Kitchenette includes a cooktop, microwave oven, refrigerator, coffee maker, teapot, toaster, as well as cooking and serving utensils. In the living area enjoy a 55" TV and cable and free WiFi. We have created our private suite to be a clean, comfortable and affordable home base for your Big Island vacation. We have renovated this unit with all our love and our utmost priority was to provide you with a seamless, worry-free vacation with all the luxuries we could fit in. When we picked out materials, appliances, linens, and furniture... The priority was always quality, and cohesiveness as opposed to what was the cheapest. Please Acknowledge Hale o Hulu This unit/ listing is perfect for couples, two people can feel very comfortable inside. Our unit will accommodate up to 4 people but please be aware that it will be tight. We had many guest couples with 2 children and they were very satisfied with their stay and space was not an issue. But if you are a guest ( party of 3 or 4) that like to have a lot of space or have your own bedroom I would suggest booking Two Unit Oasis. We truly care about our guests and we want them to have the best time ever while they are in Hawaii

Nice getaway

Tucked-in in nice quiet neighborhood, close to all essential shopping if needed. Kitchen had everything we needed for occasional cooking. Very nice host, made sure we had everything we needed

Cozy,Frendly, and quiet!

The property is as shown on the listing. Very clean! Loved the double shower heads in the shower. Our host Ania was very helpful with information about things to see on the island. I would stay here again!

I really like the friendly hostess! The property was pretty and clean. Very close to the airport. No stove and oven but pretty well every appliance you can think of. Perfect cosy get away for two. Maybe a bit too cosy for 4 adults.

Lovely place with easy access to airport

* Easy to park outside the house, host receive us and provided instructions. Although it was late, host offered us to use the pool. Sleeps 4 with futon, space could be tight with futon bed open. Pool is just outside the room. Washer/dryer came in handy for us. Awesome hosts, nice place, highly recommend to anyone

Lovely and amazing bed

We regretfully were unable to enjoy the property much due to serious flight delay issues. The house was very very clean and the bed was amazingly comfortable. My teen said the sofa bed was “fine” which is a pretty good rating (we would have heard it if it was uncomfortable). The hosts were very easy to communicate with, we left my medication in the fridges and had to come back for, owners were very easy to contact and very helpful (they even found my husbands sleep mask and put it by the medicine). Highly recommend.

Small but convenient

We got to property late at night. We were lead to a house that was not the correct place and I attempted to reach owner (without luck). We then found the correct house and went in. Place was clean up on first glance but soon found cobwebs above kitchen area and the bathroom shower curtain was pretty grimey. The space had one washcloth (we maybe could have gotten more but didn't ask). After a day of traveling, we wanted a hot shower but there was no hot water. I was unable to connect to the wifi with the information the owner provided pre-arrival so we had to leave property to find an area where we could connect thru the app. We were told we would need to wait an hour due to her being out to dinner with friends. (The propane was out). A little frustrating since we were exhausted and just wanted to shower and go to bed. We were given updated wifi info once we got to the property so had better communication after that. The bed was very comfortable. Never figured out how to get hot water out of bathroom sink. The convenience of having a washer and dryer was incredible! Didn't use pool or fire pit area. Location was excellent for us.
