Cabin at Sunshine-Situated on the Sandy Shore of Long Lake

You can't get any closer to Long Lake! The Cabin at Sunshine is just a few short steps to the sandy bottom of this crystal clear lake.

The Cabin at Sunshine was recently remodeled to give the home a relaxed, lake feeling with unobstructed views of Long Lake. All new mattresses and appliances throughout the cabin. A new Webber grill is outside for those days when you want to spend every second outside.

Sturdy Adirondack chairs, an outdoor dining table, and a fire pit sit on the beach's edge. The deck overlooks Long Lake and has a fan, comfy cushioned seating, and a small table to enjoy your morning coffee while watching the sunrise.

You will find brand-new matresses and bedding at the cabin. Please upply your own beach and bath towels.

2 kayaks and one paddleboard await you to simply push off into 11-mile Long Lake, Brandy Pond, and beyond. Please use the watercraft responsibly and at your own risk.

Walk less than half of a mile into downtown Naples for ice cream, cocktails, shopping, entertainment, boat rentals, and dinner.

This Cabin at Sunshine is a part of a five-cabin association that shares the beach and fire pit. We have exceptionally great neighbors who are all there to enjoy this peaceful setting. We ask that all renters respect our neighbors and share common areas.

We had the most amazing stay at this cabin on Long Lake! If you love to Glamp like us, this cabin is the perfect mix of cozy and modern, with everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. The lakeside views are absolutely stunning, and the sandy swim area made it so easy for our family to enjoy the water. It truly feels like the perfect place to disconnect, relax, and soak up the beauty of nature.The property is incredibly well-maintained, and you can tell a lot of care goes into keeping it special. Kerry, the host, was fantastic—so responsive and thoughtful, which made our stay effortless from start to finish.Our 4.5-year-old son loved it so much that he cried when it was time to leave, saying, “I just love that cabin so much!” That really sums it up—we can’t wait to come back again!

Modern and cozy!

Our stay at this cabin on Long Lake was nothing short of idyllic. The cabin perfectly blends cozy charm with modern amenities, making it an ideal retreat for glampers like us! We were also very pleasantly surprised at how clean and sandy the waterfront was, which made swimming with our 3 year old so much fun! Kerry was gracious and attentive, making sure every detail was perfect. For anyone seeking a peaceful getaway in a beautiful setting, this cabin is an absolute gem. Highly recommended!

Our second year of staying here was another great time! Kerry is a very attentive and responsive host - we love this place dearly, it's family friendly, in a great location and included amenities cannot be beat! We're looking forward to many more vacations at this cottage.

Fabulous time on Long Lake

We had an absolutely fabulous stay. We loved walking out the doors to kayak or paddle board on the calm lake; we also walked to rent jet skis literally a 5 minute walk from the cabin. The cabin is walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and ice cream shops. The local grocery store is only a mile away, can't get a better location. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend. Life is good on Long Lake.

Our family had a wonderful stay! The pictures on the listing are very accurate. It is not a huge house but it was very comfortable for our family of four. My wife and I had a bedroom downstairs and our girls shared the upstairs bedroom. They loved having the “entire” upstairs to themselves. The kitchen has all new appliances and was well stocked. There was nothing I wish we should have brought. There was Keurig with plenty of coffee and a s’mores kit which was a great touch. We enjoyed kayaking and having bonfires every night. The house is part of an association so there are other nearby cottages that could be rented out but it was quite when we went in October and we weren’t bothered at all by the neighbors. Kerry’s house is also closest to the water with amazing views of Long Lake. The only disappointing thing to be aware of is that the town appears to be very seasonal and almost all the restaurants and ice cream places were closed that were within walking distance. We did two day trips into Portland which was about a 50 minute drive. We did a lobster boat excursion with Rocky Bottom Fishier which I would highly recommend doing if you have kids. The water in front of the house was amazing, crystal clear and sandy bottom. We also did our best to keep the pine needles out of the house as there was a lot falling from the trees. Kerry was a great host and I can now see why this place is so special to her. We’ll hopefully be back this summer!

Fantastic host. Wonderful updated and well maintained Lake retreat. Located close to Naples on Long lake. Extremely responsive and helpful host!! Couldn’t ask for better.

Great for families with kids

Great spot, easy walk to downtown Naples with restaurants, gift shops & boating/jet skis. Cabin was perfect size for us (2 adults, 2 boys, ages 8 & 10). We used the kayaks & SUP quite a bit, and loved sitting out on the porch/dock. Kerry was great, very responsive. Definitely recommend!

This place was perfect!!

You won’t regret booking this house. Ever gone on a date and they look nothing like their pics? Not this place. It’s right on the water and looks even better in person. The owner had the place stocked with all of the little things you forgot. K-cups, s’mores ingredients, spices and olive oil. Febreeze at the ready in the bathroom? They have it. Everything you didn’t even know you wanted. Even two different types of ice! I literally could not recommend this place any more.

Sweet and relaxing

We just got married and came to Sunshine Lane. We are in our 60’s and the manager left us a bottle of champagne and all the fixings for s’mores. The cottage had everything you need. Great manager Kerry answered questions right back. Thank you for making our stay delightful

My family has been coming to Long Lake (since forever) and has special memories of our time together. Swimming, boating, water skiing, hiking, exploring villages- there is so much to experience!

After years of renting, we knew we could do better! It was tough finding a house with bowls (love ice cream!), not enough pillows, broken appliances, and mattresses older than my grandparents- you know the drill. So we did better! Our two Maine cabins are places that we stay at every chance we get.

We have three cabins in the Maine Lakes Region.

1. "Cabin at The Dock of The Bay" is next door. This old "new" cabin has been renovated down to the studs to keep the spirit of a Maine lake cabin while updating for odern vacations. Both this cabin and Sunshine are next door to each other and perfect for two families who vacation together.

2. "Cabin Between Two Lakes" is a large, four bedroom cabin in the peaceful woods that is open year around and has room to spread out. It is two-minutes away from a private association beach on Moose Pond and four-minutes away from Pleasant Mountain Ski area with night skiing, lessons, and new lifts.

3. The Cabin at Sunshine is a literal hop away from the sandy bottom of Long Lake. This cabin is light and airy, but the real star is the outside with unobstructed views of the lakefront. This is the place for outdoor living with a firepit and sandy beach.
