Would recommend this home to anyone coming to this area of Maine. Was so family friendly, clean and stocked beautifully. The host answered quickly any questions and was exact match to the listing. Made our trip to Maine even more special!!

Couldn't have imaged our time in Maine any better. This place was amazing. The house had everything we needed for our family of 4. Plenty of space and things to do. Short drive to all the Maine attractions. The hosts were excellent and answered any questions timely. Would recommend this place and we will stay here if we come back to Maine.

The house was in a great location to Acadia, Bar Harbor and Bangor. The Kitchen was well equipped with all kitchen essentials as we cooked Breakfast and Dinner. We traveled with a family of 5 and we were plenty comfortable. The house could have easily accommodated more without being too crowded. There was more than enough to keep us entertained there, wish we had a day or two just to hang out there. Hannaford and a Super Walmart were only 2 miles away.

Great place

The home was very well kept. Relatively close to everything we wanted to explore. The host was easily reachable and responded quickly to messages through the app. Would definitely recommend this stay.

House was great, kitchen well equipped with everything you may need. Hosts were very responsive with any questions we had. Area was great. It felt like our home away from home!! Would definately stay here again!!

Love this house and property and location

The house was perfect for our work crew of five working in downtown Ellsworth. They were able to relax and night and enjoy the surroundings.

Annual Maine vacation.

The home was super clean, organized, and supplied with everything we needed for the week. It felt like we were home. The AC worked great, the beds were comfortable, and our family of 6 never ran out of hot water. The location is a very easy drive into Bar Harbor, Ellsworth, and Winter Port. We would strongly recommend this home to anyone.

Fantastic cabin in the woods

What a gem! Cute cabin that felt like a home, had literally everything we wanted. Fully stocked kitchen, even had travel mugs to take coffee up to see the Cadillac sunrise! Plenty of space to spread out and games to entertain during downtime. Basement is a bit damp and could use a dehumidifier but using a fan to blow dry air from upstairs helped. Thanks for sharing your house with us!

Very comfortable!

Very spacious and well kept. Cindy was v responsive whenever I reached out to her. Fire pit was a fave and the place is really well-stocked with entertainment and kitchen stuff like spices and appliances. Note property is v close to a busy road, in case you have small children. Surrounded by trees, the natural lighting is pretty dark, but it's great to have A/C available. Also there's lots to do outside Acadia, and this location is v convenient for those activities. We had a great stay!

I'm glad you enjoyed the well-stocked spice cupboard. Makes it a lot easier and cheaper when you want to make a home cooked meal while on vacation. Property is close to a main road, but we have a great back yard with a fire pit and yard toys to enjoy. I'm glad you had a great vacation.

Acadia Retreat Stay

The property was as-advertised and an excellent value and base for exploring Acadia National Park and the surrounding area. The home is thoughtfully appointed in even small, but important ways. For example there are several coolers and travel coffee mugs, which are small but essential items if you are flying in. Cindy the owner/host is excellent about communication and will do her best to ensure an enjoyable stay. We had one very minor issue with a remote and she made sure a new TV remote was available that day. While that level of effort was not necessary given it was the bedroom TV, I think it is indicative of the commitment she has in ensuring the lodging part of your visit will not be a concern if you book this property.

Acadia HQ

Property was very good overall. It lacked nothing. One small concern was the basement bathtub which was raised somewhat making it a bit precarious when getting in & out. We treked back & forth to Acadia daily with the oneway distance being less than 20 mi. but the 2 lane road with traffic & speed limits made it about a 45 minute trip to the park. Plenty to see along the way though. The property is conveniently located for restaurants, shopping, etc.

Yes, there is a slightly raised tub/shower on the ground level of the home but, there are 2 walk-in showers on the main level in the home for anyone who may have issues stepping up into the tub. Unfortunately, traffic varies going on and off the Island of MDI where 1 one of the Acadia parks are located. Overall, I hope you enjoyed your time here in Maine and our home.

30 minutes fro Acadia

Overall a very nice vacation rental. The upstairs was well appointed and worked beautifully for our family. The master bedroom was beautiful as well as the master bath. As well as an additional bathroom, The upstairs kitchen and living room worked perfectly for our family time together. The basement was a great addition as a playroom for the boys and the star wars arcade game was a big hit. The only negative thing about inside was the humidity in the basement that brought a smell and humidity in the bedroom that my wife and I stayed in. The outdoor firepit area and the walking trail were definitely a good bonus as well. We would definitely stay there again if we did not need the bedroom basement.

Great rental property

Rented for exploring Down East of Maine. Great location out of traffic of Bar Harbor but with easy access to Schoodic Peninsula, Bar Harbor, Acadia, and other side of MDI. House was clean with a cute little welcome basket. Didn't use gaming set up but wifi was excellent. All things needed in kitchen. House is on a well-trafficed road but didn't notice it once inside. Two bedrooms are on the main floor with one bedroom having the en suite bathroom. The 3rd bedroom and bunk beds are in the basement and accessible with spiral staircase with a shared bathroom. Found it to be a good value, clean, and responsive host.

Beautiful house

The house was very clean and the owner really thought of everything we could have needed. The kitchen was fully stocked and had essentials you would forget to pack, such as ziplock bags, coolers to use and Tupperware. The house is decorated with a nautical theme and it is adorable. The spiral staircase was little scary at first but we got used to it. Probably not a good idea for little ones. My brother and his family stayed downstairs and my four stayed upstairs. We enjoyed having our own spaces but wish we could’ve all fit together better in the upstairs kitchen/living room. It was a bit tight for 8 but would be a fantastic house for 4 or 6. Overall great stay and would be happy to stay at their house again!

I try to supply those things that I always forget while on vacation. I find it helpful to people to have the fully stocked kitchen just incase you feel like cooking a meal. The spiral staircase is unique but also very useful for saving on living space. Happy you enjoyed our home and your vacation.

Lovely property & great location for Acadia/Bar Harbor

We really enjoyed our stay here! Location is really great for Acadia and Bar Harbor. Amenities were very good. There is a steep spiral staircase going to the basement that we were not aware of until we arrived, that can be tricky for older folks or those scared of heights like me. Two of the sleeping spaces are in the basement, so best to be aware of the staircase. The house is well stocked to meet all your needs. A couple of the bedrooms don't have air conditioning and were quite hot during our stay but there were fans that helped. I'm sure Maine isn't normally so hot but this July it was. Beds in two extra bedrooms are very firm. Master bed and bunk beds were very comfortable. All in all, this is very nice home and the owner has taken extra steps to make sure everything is well stocked and ready for an enjoyable stay. Quick communication too. We would certainly recommend this property!

Acadia National Park and surrounding area vacation

Lovely,very clean, plenty of space for 7 of us ( 5 adults, 2 children ), privacy, had games, pool, ping pong, Atari games, all the kitchen items we needed, linens, washer/ dryer ( great after hiking all day!) and the host was VERY helpful. Liked the box for dirty shoes !The kids loved the bunk beds and a huge pillow on the floor. No dishwasher, but we wash items usually by hand … not enough to fill dishwasher. So no big deal for us. Easy chk in and out. We could have done more to help at check out. It was about 30 mins to Acadia but the host told me that by email before we booked. It was easy to get to Southwest and Northwest Harbor, Seal Cove, Bar Harbor, Ellsworth and Schoodic Peninsula among others. Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your home!

I'm so glad you had a great vacation and enjoyed our home. Due to the lay out of the kitchen I preferred the cupboard space over the dishwasher.

This house was very nice, clean and decorated very well, very home-y! The game room was alot of fun to relax in after a day of hiking, and the laundry was also super helpful! It was a great location for all parts of acadia and it also is very close to the Pet Sematary house, for all the horror fans out there. Cynthia was very responsive and helpful. I would 100% stay here again and recommend it!
