Country Farmhouse with Hot tub, swimming pool & pond on 18 acres

Enjoy a true farm experience at this updated Greenville farmhouse on l’Orangerie’s 18 acres! Spend some time outdoors and maybe spot the deer, a bunny or a groundhog wandering around the grounds. Relax under the stars in our cedar hot tub in the back deck or under the sun in our above ground fenced swimming pool located off the back deck. There is a large pond with a row boats and two fishing lines available. There is a golf course located just across the street where you can play a full 18 holes. everything you need 5 min drive away (pharmacy, grocery, gas, restaurants, etc)! We have tons of games, including a pingpong/pool table! There are many hikes within 30 minutes drive as well as farm stands, tennis courts, horseback riding, antique stores etc. The farmhouse is located on the grounds of l’Orangerie New York. The second service driveway may be used for occasional grounds maintenance around the greenhouse and the barn during your stay. No events will take place during farmhouse rentals. Guests are welcome to explore the area but we ask that you do not enter the greenhouse. If you would like to go inside or are interested in hosting an event with us we would be happy to provide a tour if available. The sheds and old barn on site are for staff use only.

The place was beautiful and big with lovely decor and colors. The grounds were wonderful and we watched deer grazing in the back and relaxed on the swing and in the hammock. Perfect distance from restaurants and a grocery store while still being quiet and private. Plenty of adventure to be had nearby and recover with peace and quiet on the property.

What a fantastic place to make memories and relax. The family played pool, ping pong, swam, sat in the hot tub, watched movies and made great meals together. Deer grazed in the pasture behind the house each evening as we made smores over the camp fire. Fire flies lit up the trees, and bunnies were always around in the mornings. Thanks to the owner for everything!

Beautiful spot! Great for a group. Updated amenities, such as Alexa-controlled lighting in a traditional old farmhouse. Hot tub did not work while we were there but the host was gracious enough to refund a portion in exchange. Would recommend!

Absolutely fabulous!

We were a group of moms and sons (high school seniors) who stayed here for a long weekend. This place was perfect for us - well appointed and accommodating. It had everything we needed (beach towels, linens) and more (martini glasses, well-equipped kitchen)! The quality of everything was spectacular. We could have stayed here indefinitely with the hot tub, pool, grounds, fire pit, etc. We can't wait to come back here again!

We had an amazing weekend at this cute modern farmhouse! Beautiful open feel with lots of natural light and it came fully stocked with the essentials. We went in the winter and the hot tub was a game changer! Very happy with our stay and would love to come back in the future!!

The kitchen was small... the different floors/levels caused unnecessary falls and should have been mentioned in preview on VRBO. I would not have stayed here had it been. Closets had lots of dirt, and I didn't feel cleanliness was a top priority. Kids loved the piano and games. Would prob not rebook here. Overpriced for short stay and deficits mentioned above.

Room for everyone

Great quiet location for the family to get together. Plenty of space for everyone. We were able to get my son inside with his power wheelchair using a portable ramp to the porch and another up the door lip. Plenty of space to drive chair indoors. Need to be careful with the steps on the back deck, but half of the deck is accessible from the great room. Host was very attentive and look forward to staying again. The only downside is there is no bathroom on the second floor, so that is where the younger relatives stayed.

July 2023, Greenville, New York vacation

Spent a week with our immediate family and we all enjoyed staying here. It is a rural location with three cows in the backyard and chickens roaming the property. The house was clean and spacious. The house has a well-stocked kitchen with a variety of spices and kitchen items (expresso maker, wine cooler, hot air stove). The house is very comfortable and has musical instruments, an eclectic variety of books and music in every room. We enjoyed the deck with a hot tub, gas grill, sectional sofa table and fire pits. The owner just installed an above ground saltwater pool that was great to cool off. There is a golf course right across the street with a club house a short walk away. Lots of nice easy hikes in the area, horse riding a couple minutes away at K&K Equestrian, (nice people), and Howe Caverns. Not a lot to do in the area but we were looking for a place to hang out and this fit the bill. If you are going to spend time outside look out for ticks. I understand they are everywhere in that area but we found three on people and five on the dog.

During the pandemic me and my partner decided to move upstate full time and it's the best decision we ever made. I have always been a horse girl and this is the perfect place to pursue that passion, and my more recent passion for interior design.

When we first saw this property we knew we had to have it, it was love at first sight. We fell in love with the mix of landscapes, the cleared pasture land in the front, the woods in the back, and the big beautiful pond. I remember thinking the property seemed to have a bit of everything, it felt like a place with limitless potential, somewhere anyone could find special for so many reasons. Now, as a host, hearing from guests that they love the property as much as we do is so wonderful.
