Very beautiful, comfortable and well-maintained home. Extremely clean with nice amenities and close to many hiking and outdoor adventures.Oliver was incredibly prompt and friendly with communication and answering any questions we had. I would definitely stay here again and can highly recommend it!

Perfect Location

The house was clean, comfortable and located at the heart of the Kaaterskill Falls trail head and other great outdoor recreation. It's located by nearby towns so very easy to go grab a bite to eat with your family and friends should you want to go out.

Very well appointed and clean -

The house is wonderfully laid out and very clean and comfortable. It has everything you need from tissues to towels. The beds are comfortable and it’s easy driving distance to Tannersville - love Pancho Villas for dinner. Oliver is responsive and we would stay here again!

Catskills Peaceful Retreat

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this property very much. It was as described,very clean and comfortable. Location was central to all we wanted to visit and the host was always readily available for communication. Would stay again.

Great weekend retreat a short walk from Katerskill falls trail head. Grill and back yard are perfect for a weekend retreat. Host is very responsive

Great place to stay

Stayed here with a group of 7. I’m 21 and Oliver gave us the chance to rent which we are very appreciative of, many other rental owners did not. House was very clean and the pictures matched the house when we arrived. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean well located property

My kids and I had a wonderful stay at this house. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. The location is close to Palenville with its cute restaurants, and only a 12 minute drive to Hunter Mountain for skiing. The owner was extremely communicative and we had no issues.

Lovely stay! Very close to Keeterskill park. Either a walk downhill or short drive. House is beautiful, perfect for family or couple. It rained on our last day so we were unable to use the firepit but it was well built and convenient. Beautiful hardwood throughout the house, very clean. Bonus there is a pool table in the basement which kept the kids busy for hours!!! Highly recommend :)

Family weekend

Perfect location to enjoy the areas’ fishing and hiking. Older folks used the house as a base camp to visit family camping at North Lake. Amazingly clean and comfortable. Oliver was a terrific host.

Charles and his family were among the very few guests I had the pleasure in hosting which were beyond organized and meticulous with my place - I come to find after their departure. My house holds a special place in my heart as nature is very close to my soul; and, given the fact that Charles has taken good care while visiting, he earned my respect. MDW trip

My family and our friend's family stayed here over the holiday weekend. The location of the house is amazing and we were able to do so many cool things in the area. The house itself was stocked well, clean and comfortable for all of us! The host was very helpful and responsive throughout our stay. I would stay again if in the area!

Great location

Highly recommend if you want to visit the Kaaterskill falls, it’s walking distance. The host Oliver is very responsive and provides all the information we need. The house itself is clean, very cute, and kids love to play in the yard.

Waterfall house

It is great to be so close to the trails and waterfalls. Super convenient and not far from restaurants, bakeries, and cool shops for gifts! There are many more outdoor things to do here than we had time for - kayaking and swimming in addition to hiking. A very comfortable place for a hiking holiday.

Mark was very considerate of my place and treated it as his own leaving it neat and organized - which personally for me, matters a lot and makes quite a difference. His communication was on point as well as prompt. I highly suggest Mark as he is a terrific and wonderful guest. The area does have lots of trails and sights to see, not to mention the cute and warm towns of Hunter and Tannersville which are filled with boutique shops and restaurants.

Such a beautiful house in a gorgeous area of the Catskills. I stayed here with my husband and two adult children to attend my nephew’s wedding in the area. We were able to walk to Kaaterskills Falls upper viewing platform from the house, which was a real bonus as public parking was limited for the falls, especially on Labor Day weekend. The house was immaculate and well-appointed. Oliver was quick to respond to messages and kept us fully informed of check-in and check-out procedures, both of which were extremely easy to follow. The house reminded me of a European cottage with lots of beautiful flowers and other plants. Would definitely recommend!

9 day getaway stay

The property is beautiful, and the house is very clean and very well maintained. The house has everything a family needs including washing machine/dryer, full kitchen, pool table, fire pit and grill. The porch is large with multiple plants/flower pots, and an amazing frequent visitor beautiful hummingbird.Oliver, the owner put a lot of work into many details. The location is perfect, very close to the falls, as well as North-South lake and multiple trails. My family loved our 9 days getaway stay at this property. Oliver is very attentive and quick with responding.

Oh my goodness, where to start? Had a wonderful stay with my wife, children and grandchildren. We had a blast! Oliver, our host, was most gracious and answered all our queries promptly. The house and property were immaculate! Plenty of room, well stocked kitchen, very comfortable. Big plus having a master bedroom that was ensuite (great water pressure by the way). Very much enjoyed the fire pit patio and ample supply of firewood (though I would recommend getting a bundle of split wood from the locals to get a good fire started).Definitely on our radar for next year!

This note does not rather come often although I must say John and his family are very few to leave my place this clean after hosting them. They were careful and considerate of my property as well as treating it as their own house. Had the pleasure to host wonderful individuals; and I really hope they enjoyed their trip. Our First Trip to the Catskills

The house was set into the woods - rustic on the outside - contemporary, warm and friendly inside. The large deck was complete with furniture and gas grille. The bedrooms were roomy - walk in closet and en suite in the master, The kitchen had everything including a large dining table. The living room had comfortable sofas. We all enjoyed the fire pit each night - s'mores. yum! we had a great time!!!!!!

Wonderful Stay!

This cabin was perfect!! Immaculately clean and had every amenity that we needed. Beds and pillows were so comfy and new pillows and blankets could be located in the laundry closet. The cabin had a nice big deck, with two grills and plenty of seating for all 8 of us. The cabin was also located on a dead end street with the Kaaterskill Falls trailhead located just minutes down the road! Grocery store and cute town of Tannersville located just minutes away with restaurants, gifts stores and antiques. Oliver was a wonderful host, he made us feel very welcome and was quick to answer any question. We would definitely like to return and stay longer!

Fantastic Experience!

Excellent experience and would definitely stay here again. Impeccably clean, comfortable and well-maintained home with a responsive owner. It’s the perfect launching point for a visit to Kaaterskill Falls, which is just a short walk down the road to the trailhead, as the home is located up on a mountain. Other points of interest are close by as well. The kitchen is configured well for cooking and family dinners, with a good selection of cookware and tools plus a full set of matching dishes and silverware. The bathrooms are pristine and good quality towels and linens are provided. The porch is huge and perfect for stargazing under truly dark skies. The firepit is convenient and very easy to use, with a huge supply of firewood available. We found that cooling mountain breezes refreshed the home at night, amplified by fans in the main bedroom and living room. We were very glad that we chose this home for our annual family vacation.
