Beautiful house! Loved the security of the place & loved the pool. Giving a 3 Star because the home needs pest control. There is some kind of infestation of little black bugs, not sure if it was baby roaches.. mainly in the master bath area. Also, had small roaches through out the house.. loved the place but hard to look past that issue as I hate bugs! Would be a perfect place if they got that under control, which should be an easy fix. Suggestion would be to have regular monthly pest control to avoid guests running into things like that.

Great yard

The property if completely fenced and secure so that there was no concern that our dogs could get out. The pool is small, but exactly as shown in picture. We were there to attend the Final Four in San Antonio. It was an easy drive to the games. Great brisket at "Nick's Not Normal", and the Italian restaurant nearby was very good. Tv's were nice. Kitchen well stocked but could use a few more plates. All appliances were in good working order.

Great place!

We are a family of 5 & visit Canyon Lake every year & we’re super happy with this place! Nice big, clean space, plenty of room, the upgrades of the house were very nice & had everything. Loved that our adult kids had their own bathrooms within ea bedroom. The pool was an added bonus! We would definitely recommend & stay here again!

Took our family to canyon lake for a couple days. Enjoyed the house and pool more than the lake lol. Would def recommend and stay here again.

Perfect getaway house!

The house was exactly as advertised and perfect for our short getaway. It's about a 5 minute drive from the lake and 15 minutes away from the Guadalupe tube rentals. We would definitely book it again!

Brings the Family Together

We chose this home to bring our four generations together for the weekend. Our 2.5-year-old loved the pool and playground, while our 95-year-old Papa could live on the patio glider chair. It was an incredibly special stay!

Wonderful location and very comfortable home and beds. I would definitely rent this property again. Needs little maintenance on house( 2 door knobs fell off during stay). Besides that it was perfect

Canyon Lake

This was a very nice property and very clean. The kids enjoyed the pool and swing set. My first time at Canyon Lake and it has been terribly affected by draught. Canyon Ponds is more like it.

Perfect location and amenities

The property was so well maintained and clean. They made firewood available and other assortment kitchen essentials that made our stock up for the week less expensive. I couldn’t locate the email to get in the property and the manager responded on the first ring!

Wonderful stay

We really enjoyed our stay. I am not about leaving negative comments but I would like to add a few comments that would really elevate this property. Trees or shrubs so when you are sitting on the front porch you do not have to see the houses on the next street, put the van and boat in another storage so people renting can utilize the cover parking and lastly paint the trailer when you come on the the property. Other than that this is a great property. They home is decorated very tasteful! We loved the 3 outdoor areas!

Weekend getaway

My husband, newborn baby, parents, and 2 dogs all stayed here for an extended weekend getaway. The property was big and perfect for the dogs to roam supervised. The house was nice and was as described. The property management company was very nice and helpful with the questions we had. The entrance is a little hidden so finding it at first was a bit difficult since it is off the main 2-way road in the neighborhood. Nice option for the price, would consider staying here again if the need arose.

Old Friends

The property is a lovely environment. We really enjoyed the decks - it would be nice to be able to turn off the motion detectors in the evening when sitting out. Very comfortable stay. We did have an issue with one of the beds, but it was addressed promptly. Suggestions: mixing bowls in the kitchen that could be used in the microwave, too; longer shower curtains in the 2 bedrooms to keep the bathroom floor from getting wet; instructions for using TVs. All in all we would recommend the property and come again!

Beautiful property

Beautiful home on a great lot. Great decks and pool. Traffic was a little noisy when we were outside. Plenty of space and renovated nicely. A few comments that may help: I would consider having non breakable dishes as it would be best when entertaining outside. The shower on the southwest side of the house was lukewarm but never hot. There were several small roaches that were roaming around the kitchen, so an exterminator would remedy this issue. If you rent the home, think about bringing ziplock bags and foil paper and charcoal for the grill. The home is located very close to the boat ramp #6 and only 10 minutes to Comal Park. We were also entertained by a deer family, and the children were delighted. Overall it was a great experience.

Great place

The property is a great space. Large kitchen, every bedroom has its own private bathroom. The house is very clean- a super plus. Very nice outdoor space. We didn't have little children but there is a nice play area for them. The pool is not crazy big but it worked for us. Plenty of space for us to cool off and relax. Large deck in the front and back of the house. Plenty of parking. We had a pickup and two cars. During the day there is plenty of sunlight in the house, which is nice, but at night, the sliding glass doors do not have blinds or curtains to give privacy when its dark outside. The master suite would get quite warm during the day while the rest of the house stay very comfortable. But yes it would cool off when it was time for bed. These would be my biggest gripes. I would absolutely recommend this house and would stay again.

Misleading outside pictures

The house itself was great, very cozy and it was great to have bathrooms for each bedroom. The reason i'm giving this 2 stars is because the outside pictures are misleading. We were looking for a place where we could spend most of our time outside. First the deck and pool area is facing a busy street. You can't tell by the pictures but there is a street at the top of the backyard picture. This lead to no privacy and lots of traffic noise. Maybe it's the time of year we booked the property, because none of the other reviews said anything about this. Your view from the pool was either the street or a hugh metal rusty shipping container. The "multiple outdoor storage buildings" that the listing mentions are mostly dilapidated eye sores. None of the pictures show theses outside buildings for you to make an informed decision about this property. The one thing that took it over the top was the broken washing machine just sitting out in the middle of the side yard. If I had seen realistic pictures of the yard areas I would not have rented this property, especially at this price point and most definitely because of the busy street. It baffels us as to why none of the other reviews mention this. I've stayed in many VRBO's throughout the years and this is the first negative review that I have written.
