This was our second stay at this lovely apartment but I doubt it will be our last. It’s beautiful, roomy, cozy and in an amazing location. And Mikael is the perfect host.

Incredible stay

This space, with a view of Notre Dame, feels so organically Parisian. We loved the old world decor and the location could not be better! Everything you need, we had an awesome stay.

Views of Notre Dame and down the Seine!

Ten days in Paris with views of Notre Dame and down the Seine – very special!! The apartment is a charming throwback to prior memories. Amenities are plentiful. Location near the St. Michel metro and bridge is great. Street and neighboring apartment noise is expected but easy to overlook.

3 day trip to Paris

Maikel is a wonderful and responsive host. Classic and romantic Parisian flat, along the Seine and steps from Notre Dame - with beautiful views. Old world charm in amazing condition and super clean. Note - there are 2 bathrooms but only one toilet. We loved it.

Great place. Everything was as advertised.

The views and overall apartment did not disappoint. The location is great and the check-in / check-out was very convenient as Maikel was very responsive. The only thing I would point out is if you’re traveling with someone disabled, getting into and out of the shower could be challenging. Also, the elevator didn’t work for one day of our trip. We were fine, but if someone in our party couldn’t climb stairs, we would’ve had an issue. Otherwise, everything was perfect and I’d highly recommend staying here.

A View Beyond Compare

I spent a week in the Paris flat with my 2 adult nieces and a second week with a close friend - we all agreed that the flat is stunning! The pictures on the website are accurate and the view from the 3 large french windows are stunning. The location is "in the thick of the action" and perfect for getting around the city. We ate most of our meals out but when we cooked for ourselves the sweet kitchen was well equipped and in good working order. What I did not expect is the wonderful and quick response that Maikel gave to any questions or requests that I had! We were given the instructions for entry to the building and the apartment and it worked like a charm. This is not always the case in my experience - so I appreciated the close attention given to our modest needs. Thank you Maikel and Paris for a lovely holiday. Carol

A perfect week

We absolutely loved this apartment! We reserved it for the night before our 6am arrival, and check in was seamless. The view is spectacular, with direct waterfront on the Seine and Notre Dame a stone’s throw to the right. The church bells welcomed us on Sunday morning and it was something out of a movie. The apartment itself is a very generous size, with a very comfortable living room/dining room and a gorgeous baby grand piano—it’s even in tune! Beautiful art and library full of music and books makes the experience so much better than a sterile hotel. A perfect little kitchen and two bedrooms and shower rooms gave my teenage daughter and friend their own private space. The only tiny negative I could note is that the bed in the second bedroom is quite small for two adults to share comfortably— I believe it’s the equivalent of a double bed in the states. The bed in the larger bedroom was lovely and sooooo fluffy and comfortable. Other notes to mention—the location is superb with every charming neighborhood essentially within walking distance! The building is on a very busy main street (you are right on the Seine!) but the apartment is very quiet. There’s also a taxi stand directly in front of the building’s entrance which was tres convenient! We absolutely enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend this spot if you are going for an authentic, romantic and quintessential Parisian visit!

Real Paris

If you're looking for a true Parisian experience, possibly even transporting you in time back to the mid-20th century this is the place. This is NOT a generic corporate rental. Unique furnishings throughout, if a bit worn. Typical Parisian of an earlier period. Comfortable, well furnished living areas, very plain bedrooms. Amazing location and views. Excellent metro access. Maikel is a terrific communicator. Check in is touchless, with very easy instructions. If any of these issues present a problem, you may not be happy here. 1. internet is not robust or entirely reliable, yet generally adequate. 2. Although there are 2 bathrooms, there is only one toilet. 3. Washing machine does not have a dryer function. 4. The hallway and elevator had a strong unpleasant smell during our entire two week stay. NOT the apartment, but the outside public area.
