Welcome to Moose Knuckle chalet, a vacation rental located in Lower Deer Valley's Pinnacle condominium community. This 3600 sqft expansive townhome offers families or large groups 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms over four floors to accommodate up to 12 guests in comfort and with plenty of space to spread out and enjoy! It includes three king beds, one king/twin bunk bed (with a trundle twin bed) and one additional bunk bed (4 twin beds). The three kings on the top two floors have their own on-suites.

You’ll love having easy access to Deer Valley Resort’s world-renowned ski slopes and dining while enjoying your own private getaway. Included in your stay is access to the Deer Valley ski shuttle through the "uber-like" app, Deer Valley Direct. Just request a ride for free and the shuttle picks you up from your front door and brings you directly to the chair lifts at Snow Park Lodge which is only 0.7 miles away.

You can also hit other resorts while you’re in the area. This home is located a little more than a mile from Park City Mountain Resort, another well-known spot to enjoy a powder day. Old Town Park City has incredible places to dine, shop, and explore all year round.

After you wrap up a day on the slopes, drop your gear in the mudroom and head outside to soak in the private hot tub. Premium linens adorn the beds and hang in the bathrooms to keep you comfortable throughout your stay. Each bathroom also has eco-friendly shampoo, conditioner, and lotion that you’re welcome to use. Start your morning with a hot cup of coffee in the well-equipped kitchen, ready for you to cook up a delicious home cooked meal.

A 1 block walk down the hill from the townhome places you on the free Park City Bus line. Take this bus to Park City Mountain Resort, The Canyons or Historic Main Street in Old Town. Main Street and Park City Mountain Resort are only a mile away.

No Parking in the street. Snow plows need unfettered access to clear the streets. We have a ONE car garage and TWO parking spots in the driveway.
No Ski Boots or shoes upstairs. Please remove all shoes in the mud room.
Please Do Not constantly change the thermostat. The boiler gets stressed. Split A/C Units only function when the outdoor temp is above 65 degrees.

Gorgeous! Well-stocked! Perfect location!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Moose Knuckle Lodge. Everything you could need and more. Spacious, yet cozy…beautifully decorated, perfect location. Deer Valley shuttle picks up at the door. Prompt and helpful communication. We will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home

This is a beautiful home with plenty of space. Very comfortable and a convenient location 5 minutes from park city ski resort and Main Street. The property manager is also very helpful and responds quickly to any questions you might have. Will definitely consider staying here again and recommending to family and friends.

Park City 2024 Trip

The Moose Knuckle was a great space for our group. We used the hot tub as well as the front deck on a warm sunny day! Kitchen area was great for cooking and entertaining. Kitchen was well stocked with items for cooking. Communication with Mackenzie was great!

Deer Valley Ski Trip

The place was great. Very clean. Great views with tons of natural light. Perfect spot for two families to stay and ski Deer Valley. The shuttle service to the base was awesome especially combined with the complimentary overnight ski valet service provided by Deer Valley. Made it almost as convenient as ski-in/ski-out at a much more reasonable price! Would 100% stay here again while skiing Deer Valley.

Fantastic Deer Valley Property

This property was fantastic for our extended family of 7. Super clean, very nicely decorated. Huge common areas and kitchen gave everyone space to relax after skiing. Loved the private hot tub. 4 bedrooms with multiple beds allowed for flexible sleeping arrangements. Access to Deer Valley (Snow Park Lodge) is really convenient, with free on-call shuttle. Very close to Park City restaurants as well. Makenzie the Host was amazing to deal with. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here for our first trip to Park City (and out West to Ski)! The views were even more spectacular than the photos online could capture. It was spacious and accommodating for 2 families of 4 (with 4 teenagers) and the finishes, decor and attention to small details was wonderful. Communication during the process was quick and easy. Access to Park City to ski worked well using the city bus and the location of the house was close to everything. We used Instacart for groceries and enjoyed seeing Main Street also. It was an amazing trip and this house was top notch!

Incredible Home Base in DV!

We came with 12 friends looking to ski around the Park City area - the Moose Knuckle Lodge was absolutely perfect. It's super modern and clean while still being cozy with ample space for 12 people. We skied around Deer Valley, Park City, and even went out to Alta/Snowbird for a few days. The shuttle system was extremely easy to use (the one supplied by the HOA was awesome, picking us up and dropping us off with faster response than Uber and included in the price to go anywhere in the PC area). They were incredibly responsive to all maintenance requests, and the owners were very kind. Will stay here again if we get the chance!

Great family ski trip

We had a wonderful stay at this awesome home. It is decorated really nicely (modern mountain) and gets tons of natural light from all of the big windows. Nice view of the mountains. The kitchen is new and is stocked with anything you need to cook. The bedrooms are all spacious with incredibly comfortable beds and bedding. Two living room/tv areas are great so a group can spread out. I love that there are hot tub towels and you don’t have to use bath towels. Lots of great thoughtful touches like that throughout the house. The shuttle was really easy to use when you’re headed to/from the mountain. I’d definitely stay here again.

multi-generational family vacation

We stayed at Moose Knuckle Chalet for a multi-generational family vacation. The property was conveniently located between Park City (Main Street) and Deer Valley Resort. All of the rooms were comfortable and the beds/bedding were very nice. There was more than enough space in the house for all of us (9 total). It's important to note that there are multiple flights of stairs (in case you have older folks or very young kids in your party). The upside of all the stairs/levels is that there is a lot of separate space for people to hang out in. The kitchen was decently stocked, though there were a few pots/pans missing (we cooked a lot at home instead of going out). The fireplace and hot tub were nice to have. The neighborhood was quiet and well maintained. The manager of the property was very responsive.

Great Family House

We had a wonderful stay and excellent snow while there! House is beautiful, well stocked and very close to everything. The deer valley direct can take you to the snow park lodge for deer valley access and ski school. The hot tub was the grandparents favorite part of the house. The garage is occupied by owners car but there is plenty of room in the driveway. They have a second living room set up specifically for kids that our daughter loved. Lots of stairs but they are carpeted so no worry about slipping. All rooms were nicely spaced giving everyone their privacy. You can have groceries delivered to you via instacart. Mackenzie was lightning fast with all her responses and help. Made everything so easy. Highly recommend this home!

We are Brandon and Jenny and we both grew up skiing Park City when we were younger. We loved it so much that a few years ago right before Covid we bought our dream ski home to spend time and ski as much as we could with our 2 children Maddie and Owen. We were able to spend many months here for a couple of years due to Covid and loved every second. This year we decided to extend our special home for others to experience since we are unable to visit as much this winter season.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We bought this home mostly due to its location. It is in lower Deer Valley so you can get to the base of the Deer Valley mountain within 10 minutes on the free door to door shuttle. This is a game changer especially when traveling with kids. Our place is also walkable to Main Street if you so desire with all of the amazing restaurants and boutiques but if it’s too chilly it’s less than a five minute drive. It’s also walkable to Deer Valley cafe if you want a break from cooking breakfast before you hit the mountain.

The most unique benefit of this property is the door to door ski shuttle. This is huge when traveling with multiple people so that everyone can leave in the morning or come home in the afternoon on their own schedule and not have to wait for the entire group. It’s also easy to come home for lunch if you want to skip the busy restaurants on the mountain. Families traveling with kids will love the shuttle, it makes a usually stressful morning a lot easier!
