Close to the fun, yet tucked away for a relaxing mountain getaway in Canaan Valley.

Our Beech Bunny is a 2 bedroom (queen/2 twins), 2 bath first floor (stairs still required), pet free condo at Beaver Ridge Resort. The unit boasts new stainless appliances (including a dishwasher) and mountain chic decor with local art throughout. Look for special touches like the owner's guide to the area, games for the family and all the basics you'll need for carefree packing (linens, towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, coffee, condiments, pantry items, detergent and dishwasher tabs). Firewood is provided at no cost and is convenient to access just steps from the front door (seasonal).

Beaver Ridge Resort is perfectly situated between the slopes of Canaan and Timberline downhill ski areas, White Grass cross country ski area, and the quaint towns of Davis and Thomas with miles of hiking/mounting biking trails, local restaurants, shops and art galleries. Tucker County offers four seasons of fun!

Beech Court is part of the Beaver Ridge Complex which offers a heated swimming pool and tennis/basket ball courts. Charcoal grills are scattered throughout the property for use by guests and residents. Beaver Ridge offers direct access to National Park Service trails which link to the Canaan Valley Trail system for world-class mountain biking and hiking. Minutes from local ski resorts and the galleries, restaurants, breweries and music venues of the towns of Thomas and Davis, there is always something to do for everyone in your family.

Unit has central A/C and heat, wifi (sometime it's slow because of the location), and a washer/dryer.

*Winter weather in the area can be intense. While our road and parking lot are paved and plowed, we recommend all wheel drive or four wheel drive during snowy conditions.

We are from West Virginia but we goto the Davis area about every year. This year we chose to stay in this condo and it was wonderful. It was clean, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen well stocked with pans and seasonings. The free supplied fire wood was also great. Most definitely will stay here again.

After driving 4 hours to the location, it was not clean at all. Shortly after arriving, we had to make a trip to the Shop N' Save to purchase some cleaning products since there were none available. Due to the lack of cleanliness, we left immediately.When discussing the issue with the property manager, we were accused of taking pictures from a different location. On top of that, we were asked very assertively why we did not notify them about the property so they could have sent a person to clean. I'm sorry, but we wanted to settle in and relax, no wait for the room to be cleaned (this was around 7pm). All in all, the pictures look nice, but that was about it. Not to mention, the A/C was very loud and beds were not comfortable at all (didn't get a chance to sleep on them since we left same day, but they didn't pass the initial sit test).

The condo was exceptionally clean and very nicely decorated and quite cozy. It is located in a great spot to visit all the local attractions such as the falls, Dolly Sods, Seneca Rocks, etc. The snacks and drinks were a very nice touch and were really appreciated. Great for a weekend getaway. Kerri was a great host..

Everything was wonderful. The host had a wonderful notebook put together of activities in case of rain. The only thing I would add is, I wish there was numbers for the places to make it easier to find the place you needed to call.

Kitchen was not very clean! Stove had a greasy film on. Some pans and glasses had to be rewashed before using. No remote for TV in living room. Toilet in extra bathroom would sometimes keep run until I took top off of tank to fix it.

The property was beautiful! Very clean, fully stocked as described. Kerry was so amazing! We had a few questions and she was immediate to answer our question. The area was very peaceful and relaxing. Visited several waterfalls and trails in the area. Amazing. Douglas falls is a must see. Will definitely stay again.

Relaxing weekend

The outside of the building didn’t look very welcoming when we pulled up, but the condo we stayed in was great. It was clean, well decorated and furnished for comfort. It offered the perfect home base from which to hike around the falls or explore the local shops in Davis and Thomas. The owners had left a little basket with coffees/teas and other little thoughtful touches. If we’re in the area, we’ll stay here again.

Awesome Stay

Only 100 per night for a house is incredible. Even though its a condo, it really is like a house, with the full kitchen, living room, dining, and two bed two bath. And it came with absolutely everything. Pots and pans, soap, towels, washer and dryer, its home away from home. We didn't have to take much, which made the trip a lot easier. Everything was clean and smelled clean, the beds didn't sag, was comfy, and came with a lot of pillows. The place heated and cooled quick so we were comfortable. The full fridge and freezer, and stove, was also appreciated. It was also really quiet, but there wasn't much people, might be different in the summer. We appreciated the quietness. And we were 8 minutes from blackwater falls. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Kerrie for the wonderful stay.

Enjoyable Place to Stay

Property was well appointed with everything you needed. The kitchen was very well stocked. Ice maker in freezer was appreciated. Had to do one load of laundry and detergent and dryer sheet were supplied. Nice big TV and lots of channels available. Free WiFi too. Comfortable queen bed. Only thing negative would be that the unit was downstairs. 9 steps, landing, 9 more steps. The unit was all one floor but the steps might be a challenge for those in their 70s. Everything was clean inside and out. We were confused which keypad to unlock the door. The owner answered my call immediately. You are supposed to use the keypad just above the doorknob inside screen door on the entry door. Once we figured out the correct way to access the unit we had no problems the rest of our stay. Having help immediately when we needed it was priceless. We had been driving all day and were tired. Very enjoyable having all the extra touches (water bottles, snacks, etc. A Kerug coffee maker and regular coffeemaker. Wonderful time. We visited a lot of places the 3 days we were there. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the unit more.

Spring Break Getaway

We had a great time as a family spending a couple of days exploring around Blackwater Falls State Park, Seneca Rocks, Dolly Sods, etc. We enjoyed our stay at Beech Bunny and would definitely recommend. Host responded to messages in a timely manner prior, the house was clean and well stocked with kitchen items, games, puzzles, etc. The kids especially enjoyed the extra snacks/candy available. ; )

Lovely home away from home

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend and were pleasantly surprised by all the host had to offer! From complimentary snacks and drinks and a well stocked kitchen, to comfortable beds and a cozy wood-burning fireplace, we truly felt at home. The binder of information about the area went above and beyond, giving us lots of ideas for activities and destinations. Having dry wood available for the fireplace was a great bonus. Everything was clean and in good condition. We could tell that the condo was loved and taken care of, and that our host wanted us to feel comfortable during our stay at their home.
