Cozy cabin close to West Jefferson, feels remote with great view of mountains. We enjoyed our stay overall. Some housekeeping issues when we checked in that were easily remidied (fridge not cleaned out, hot tub not chlorinated) but addressed with the owner with quick response. Good option for a family/multi-family get away.

We had an amazing stay at A Frame Haven! It was in the perfect location with only being 20-30 minutes from a grocery’s store, DT West Jefferson, and numerous hiking trails. There were plenty of amenities provided and plenty of space for a large group to stay. Definitely would stay here again if ever in this area and need a place to stay. My favorite part was the upper deck with some incredible Mountain View’s, especially during this time of year with the leaves changing!

Generally a nice home and relatively clean. Exterior patio and yard were recently mowed, grass clippings were left everywhere which required sweeping to avoid tracking into house. Folding top on hot tub was mickey moused together and didn't work well. Toilet seat on main level very loose. Again, house interior was clean and tidy.

Great mountain getaway

This place was in a beautiful setting with lots of privacy and all that you need provided. Very comfy furniture and beds. Highly recommend.

Snow Weekend

The stay was wonderful! The cabin is up a steep hill and one of the vehicles had a lot of trouble getting up the hill due to the snow; so check the weather and ensure you're able to do so. Otherwise, everything was wonderful, peaceful, and we enjoyed a weekend snowed in. The property manager was helpful and answered very quickly.

Christmas present for family

The A frame cabin was not only beautiful but described perfectly! We enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, daily hikes and town shops. Will definitely be back in the near future.

Beautiful!

We stayed over Christmas with our family and the house was perfect for us. Such a peaceful and beautiful spot. The house was clean, beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. We hope to be back!

The property is beautifully appointed. It is quiet and “isolated” but located near restaurants, wineries, and the parkway. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful mountain cabin!

This is a beautiful well kept private mountain cabin. It is nicely staged with quality linens and local artwork. The view from the upstairs deck is peaceful and comfortable. The hot tub was in perfect condition and ready to use along with extra towels. We also used the firepit for the cool evenings. We had a wonderful 4 night stay with our family and also enjoyed the 2 kitchen layout. Justin was very helpful with everything but we honestly only needed to contact him once. My only recommendation would be to arrive the first time in the daylight. Even with very detailed directions from the owners, it is hard to find in the dark the first time. I would highly recommend this beautiful A-frame for a comfortable, peaceful and quiet family vacation 😊 Thanks for having us!

Relaxing, warm A-frame stay

We had a wonderful time in the A-Frame. Great view, well stocked kitchen to prepare meals, warm home overall. Not babyproofed for those with young ones, but great outdoor space to play and a quiet, dark downstairs bedroom for a pack-n-play. Justin was very communicative with any questions. Top notch!

Bringing Dad to his birthplace

We planned the trip with this location in mind. Dad grew up "right around the corner". Excellent response from owner when I lost a key. The only "warning" would be that Dad had to use the stairs - luckily he is still pretty steady so it wasn't a problem but could be for other 96 year olds. This is not really a negative - we expected stairs. I would stay here again.

Cute, serene cabin with mountain view and sounds of the river nearby

The A Frame Haven had the perfect style of cozy and modern! Exactly what we were looking for for just a weekend anniversary getaway without the little ones for once and it was a new location for us to explore. Cute little old town to experience (West Jefferson and surrounding areas). But we mainly visited for peace and the sounds of nature and what's left of winter in thr south; this visit wasn't necessarily meant to be "touristy". I think the only thing we were missing was a fire pit outside for marshmallow roasting and for the warmth, and the fireplace was out of commission I believe at the time, but that's ok - it was wonderful regardless. Thank you for such a peaceful visit! Hope to be back soon! Cheers from Florida

A+ A-frame

First vacation with my wife. Clean, well kept, cabin with a fun yet cozy vibe. Everything worked, plenty of bedsheets and towels. Great view from porch or hot tub. 10 mins from stores and a quiet, beautiful drive the whole way.

Hello! We're Andrew & Justin, brothers originally from Virginia and along with our families want to welcome guests to our wonderful vacation home. This "A-Frame Haven" is stunning and we're so excited to have the opportunity to share the joy this home brings to us.

"A Frame Haven" offers a peaceful escape from the every day hustle. Upon arrival you can take in the breathtaking view with plenty of space for you and your family.

The two story deck offers seating to kick back, relax and admire the scenery. When the weather is inviting, have dinner outside and enjoy on the patio. The downstairs provides a full and incredibly spacious kitchen with room to entertain. Don't forget about the additional room and bathroom right off the kitchen! As you make your way upstairs to the floor that emphasizes the beauty of a true A Frame, check out the fabulous windows looking out over the property while reclining on the couch or enjoying family time at the farmhouse table. Games are available downstairs. The two spacious yet intimate king beds and full bath are just off the kitchenette. Pop out in the morning to start a cup of coffee in the Keurig and watch the sun rise. The loft provides the perfect overlook to the main floor while still able to tuck away for the night.

In addition to the cozy atmosphere of our Haven, the yard is the perfect spot for family fun. Enjoy this unique space as your home away from home.
