Check in was easy. The room was comfortable enough. Shower was nice size with great water pressure. Sorry we didn’t get to meet our host.

We visited Long Island for a family visit and have stayed with my wife, Daughter and my dog Molly! The apartment was just right for us, clean and comfortable. I did meet the owner who was very nice and welcoming.I would definitely consider for my next visit to NY!

worst ever VRBO WE STAYED IN

This was by far one of the most disappointing vacation rentals we’ve stayed in, and we’ve stayed in many. Right from the start, the cleanliness was unacceptable—there were crumbs all over the carpet and even a spork left on the floor, making it clear the property had not been properly cleaned before our arrival.We were only provided with two bath towels and one fingertip towel for a multi-day stay, which is completely inadequate. There were no washcloths, no extra towels, and no body wash in the shower. We had to use shampoo just to wash ourselves. We also only had enough coffee for one day, despite being there for multiple days, and were left with very little toilet paper, which also needed to be requested. and a sign saying not to flush toilet paper .. To top it off, there is a loud and persistent dog barking that continued into the early morning hours, which made it impossible to get a good night’s sleep.Overall, this rental lacked even the most basic amenities and cleanliness standards, and our stay was frustrating and uncomfortable as a result. We would not stay here again, and we would not recommend it to others.

Pleasant Stay Overall

Private room and bath in the lower level of a split level style house. Has a private entrance and is closed off from the rest of the house by a locked door. Family lives in the house, could hear them from time to time, but nothing bothersome. Host was very responsive and pleasant. Room was clean and comfortable with a king bed, couch, desk, fridge and microwave. Towels were provided but no washcloths. Also, can't flush toilet paper, which was kind of annoying. I didn't catch that until after booking. Pets were allowed and we had a good stay overall with our small dogs.

Not at all what we expected.

Floor was not clean. Walk across it bare footed once and your feet were black. No kitchen towel or paper towels. Very hard to sleep, as light switches have lights on them that cannot be turned off. There is a light that comes on from the fire alarm every time you turn over. No silverware. Not even a knife. The lighting was horrible. No night table and therefore, no night lights. Way over priced for what you get. We do not recommend staying there.

Stay was ok. Majority of everything was fine, but it didn't say in the listing that you can't flush toilet paper at all and that was kind of disappointing to find that out on arrival. I probably would've booked a different place if I had known that. Also some basic things were missing that would help make the place more comfortable like a bath mat, and either a shelf or something in the shower to be able to store bath products/soap besides on the floor. Also the soap dispenser in the shower was empty when we arrived. The space itself was great for a one night stay, but not being able to flush toilet paper was off-putting.

Excellent accommodation

We very much enjoyed our stay at this Bay Shore, NY accommodation. It's nicer than the photo, which really doesn't do it justice. It's spacious, very clean, thoughtfully and carefully planned and provisioned. Augusto is an excellent host. Communications with him were always clear, timely and pleasant. We felt safe and comfortable - We'd definitely stay here again.

Spotless, quiet, great location

This unit does not have a kitchen, but there ia a microwave, Keurig coffee pot and fridge. A quick stop at a dollar store will give you everything you need to supplement for a small cost. This unit is amazingly CLEAN, the neighborhood is quiet and in a safe location. It is located where you can get to everything quickly. We highly recommend this property for 2 people. We were very happy there.

Just right!

The place was exactly as described and perfect for a couple. We travel with our dogs. It can be difficult finding a place that is clean, pet friendly and in a great location. This place has all three. I would definitely stay again.

The room was well cared for; the bed was VERY comfortable and it had a wide screen TV with access to Netflix and other options. We were a little worried about not knowing how we would get a key and e-mailed the owner several times without getting a response before we were on the road and without internet access, but it worked out fine. There was someone there to help us get in.

Great stay

This was a very nice and cozy VRBO. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host was almost non existent and very occomidating. I would definitely book again.

Nice quiet place to stay

The entrance door sticks and had trouble getting local tv channels! But was very happy with the location and the room was very nice and has plenty of space for a studio! Much better than any motel or hotel room and I definitely would stay here again on my trip back to New York for my family vacation! Host was nice and helpful helping me get in! I recommend it as I totally felt comfortable and safe!
