"LAKEVIEW": No Steps, HOT TUB, Boat/Swim Dock, Elevator

LakeView offers stunning views from the outdoor decks/patios and from almost every room indoors. The luxury, comfort, and amenities of this home provides you the perfect place to relax, unwind, and make precious memories. The boat dock offers 2 boat slips and a nice swim deck with a ladder. The scenic views and the clear, calm waters is a perfect setting for swimming, kayaking/paddle boarding or just hanging out in the water on the Lily Pad attached to the dock all while soaking up the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Lake View is also wheelchair accessible and provides an elevator for your loved ones who can't walk stairs.

This home is situated on Rock Creek and at the end of the road located in Arley, AL. Rock Creek is known for the prettiest and clearest water on Smith Lake. It is specifically designed to accommodate multiple families and friends, work gatherings, reunions, and retreats.

Please Note: We do not allow parties/events such as frat/sorority parties. Please ask permission for any event or guest over 20. We want to be respectful of our neighbors. Reservations are not confirmed until you return the rental agreement.

The space:
Features 3 different levels, lots of outdoor entertaining spaces, beautiful views, and comfortably hosts and sleeps 20. This luxury custom brick, rock and cedar 5BR/4BA with 2 car detached garage. Bottom & main levels both have gourmet kitchen, living, and LARGE laundry/utility rooms. Additional living space in the upper loft area. Gas fireplaces on BOTH main & bottom floors. EXTRA large main level porch & covered lower patio offering lots of outdoor dining, sitting areas, outdoor TV, outdoor games, and a gas firepit. Featuring 3 different levels, beautiful views, this 5,000 sq ft lakefront home comfortably hosts and sleeps 20. The home has new amenities and furnishings throughout. The main floor and bottom floor both have expansive, open concept areas perfect for entertaining and hosting large groups. A third floor living space (loft and bedroom) provides a great area for kids that includes a gaming station holding 12 games along with an air hockey/ping-pong table. Don't forget to rent a boat as soon as you book!! Unlike many homes here at Smith Lake, this house has a gentle slope down to the dock, no steps!

Lake View is wheelchair accessible with a roll-in shower, elevator/lift to get from the main to the bottom level. There is also a storm shelter off of the bottom level laundry room.

Please Note: This is a rural area, and while we do have WIFI at the house, it may not be completely reliable and/or fast enough to stream shows, etc. No Gaming Please!! Usually, there is no issue using our WIFI to make calls, emailing, texting, or web browsing. AT&T and T-Mobile cell phone service seems to have the best coverage all over the lake. Verizon is very limited.

- Son's of Arley convenient store, La Plaza Bonita Mexican Restaurant and Arley Coffee Shop are all only 7.5 miles away, and we recommend you visit all three.
- Chef Tory's is only 20 minutes away & we highly suggest the stop during your stay.
- Rock Creek Marina is 28 mins out, but we have plenty of room to park your boat/boat trailer on our lot close to our property.
- Don't miss out on the great food and awesome shopping located in Jasper and Cullman , both about 30 minutes away.

With Bankhead National Forest within a thirty minute drive of the home, excellent hiking is nearby. Recommended trails include:
- Sougahoagdee Falls
- Caney Creek Falls Trail
- We recommend downloading and using the Alltrails app to find local trails that are the length and level that you desire!
Other beautiful outdoor activities include:
- Visit Rickwood Caverns. Hiking trails and tours of subterranean caverns and tunnels.
- Visit Dismals Canyon: has waterfalls and bioluminescent glowworms that light up on the guided night tours (night tours are by reservation).
- Visit Hurricane Creek Park in Falkville- unique rock formation, waterfalls, and hiking trails.
- Hike in Natural Bridge Park in Haleyville to see beautiful natural stone arches.
- Visit Rock Creek Marina by car or by boat- you can purchase food and feed the fish directly from their dock.
