Welcome to peaceful getaway, relax & refresh at this secluded home with the whole family. If you enjoy the countryside & listening to the birds this place will be perfect for you, it is surrounded by trees & you might get to see some wildlife. Sit in the hot tub or cozy up by the fireplace with a cup of coffee in the evening after spending the day wine tasting at Armstrong Valley winery or hiking the Appalachian trail. It is 25 minutes away from Harrisburg & 45 minutes away from Hershey park.

The house had everything you needed rooms are large. Close to grocery stores and things to do. We enjoyed the patio and fire pit every nite of our stay. Great place to stay

Secluded getaway

The house is just as perfect as it looks in the pictures. Hot tub was perfect, the kitchen and living area are HUGE. House was very clean and had everything that was needed. I'd absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful place!

My sister and I met here with our kiddos and had such a great stay. Everything was clean and comfortable and we especially loved the beautiful back yard and patio area. We loved going to the Lake Tobias Wildlife Park just a few minutes away. We will be back!

Great stay and a very nice house. Directions were easy to follow. Basement was a little cool. Outside fire pit and hot tub were amazing. The host thought of so many details to make the stay convenient.

Rural retreat

We were surprised and delighted with the accommodations. Everything we needed was provided. We cooked several meals in the well equipped kitchen. Would stay there again gladly.

This house is beautiful and we enjoyed it immensely! Everything was just as described and the amenities such as the high chair, pack and play and children’s dishes were a wonderful addition. Decorated with great taste with a very relaxing atmosphere inside and outside.

Coziest place ever!

This has been one of the coziest places me and my fiancé have stayed at. It really gave us an insight into our futures. The place was so homey and very welcoming and I would not hesitate to book this place. The owner was so kind to us and would definitely visit again.

The adults loved the hot tub, Kids had a whole area down stairs with a couch air hockey/pool table and their own bathroom. They felt so grown. We would defiantly stay again

Excellent place to stay

The house was spotless, beautiful, and peaceful. The hot tub was great. Beds and furnishings were comfortable. Very spacious with excellent attention to detail. Master shower had a very modern shower. Plenty of room for seven of us. Back yard was wonderful with lots of animals. We loved our stay at this house.

Perfect Secluded Getaway

My mother, mother-in-law, and I stayed here for the PA Farmshow and had a wonderful time! The house was easy to find with no close neighbors. It is so beautifully decorated! I baked a cake for the farmshow and the kitchen was so well stocked with a huge island perfect for preparations. The hot tub was our favorite part! Would be a perfect back deck for a summer getaway. Highly recommend, we will be back!

Family vacation

We really enjoyed staying at this VRBO with our adult children and young grandchildren. The house is even nicer than in the pictures with lots of small perks. It is spacious and well suited for kids to safely play inside and out. After our day trips to nearby parks and Lake Tobias, we enjoyed the hot tub, making s'mores in the firepit, playing frisbee and taking walks up and down the gravel road. The location is so peaceful and quiet. We saw deer on the property a few times. The owner was gracious and prompt in responding to our questions. She went the extra mile to provide a vacuum cleaner for us, and quickly got the propane tank refilled. We hope to return and highly recommend!

Life's an adventure!!!

What a great place! Everything was a expected. But we certainly had an adventure!! We arrived after dark, during a storm. Unusually high winds had knocked out the power. The host was awesome about it. They kept relaying info from the power company about repair times. When it looked like it might take all night, they offered to help if we wanted to find a room for the night, even had some suggestions. When we said we were staying, they offered to bring over flashlights and batteries. The biggest plus for the place was the fact that sitting in front of the gas fireplace, in a house we got to after dark, during a storm, with no electricity, we felt comfortable and safe. would definitely consider staying again if we're in this area!

We came to this lovely place to have a comfortable location to relax after spending the day at the farm show complex. Our first impression upon entering was how clean and well decorated the place was. After being there for awhile we started to notice a few things that weren’t quite as well kept as first thought. Light bulbs were blown, one was completely missing downstairs; a few ants in the master bathroom, and the fireplace wasn’t able to stay lit. We contacted the host to advise about the fireplace and were told it had been a problem that they knew about but weren’t sure what was wrong. Hot tub had debris in the bottom (leaves and sticks), the basement bunk bed was very squeaky; so much so that the kids fought over who would have to sleep in it. The living room and a couple dining room chairs were very rickety so we were worried they would break when we sat in them. Finally the dishwasher was a nightmare. It looked as if there had been damage to it since there were dents on the inside of the door and the bottom rack did not pull out without falling into the bottom of the dishwasher. When open, the top dish rack kept sliding out while filling the bottom and the entire dishwasher wasn’t seated in the cabinets very well. All in all, the place was very cozy, and exceptionally clean, and we would stay again, but for the price paid, a bit more attention to regular maintenance should be happening.
