The host was great at responding promptly to all questions and problems. There are really only 7 bedrooms, two of which have very wide doorways, but do not have doors. A floorplan or layout would have been very helpful. We had to rearrange our room assignments a few times. The other two “bedrooms” were rooms where a futon or bed were added, neither had access to a bathroom without going through someone else’s bedroom, as 5 bedrooms were ensuite, and one Jack and Jill bathroom. The bathrooms all had pocket doors or accordion closet doors. Neither of which give a person much privacy.We never found the playground and we were not allowed to use the fireplace. The kitchen was very roomy, with a large island and had lots of equipment. The double oven was wonderful. The apartment size refrigerator was a surprise. We had to use our coolers for things like salads, drinks and condiments. We were a large group: 7 adults and 7 children (three generations) one family was newly blended, hence the need for so many bed and bathrooms.
