Lots to do in our neck of the woods! Experience rural central Texas in this 2-bedroom single story home. This lovely spacious property on acreage offers a cozy retreat for guests.
Relax on the breezy porches with a fresh cup of coffee in the mornings and enjoy the country atmosphere with cattle grazing nearby. This rural home features a king bed and a full bed prepared with fresh linens and cozy pillows ensuring a comfortable stay for everyone.
With amenities like free WiFi, smart TV’s in every room, kitchen amenities, AC and heating, you'll have everything you need for a relaxing getaway.
Covered parking provided.
Plenty of indoor games to entertain as well as fire pit and corn hole for enjoying time outdoors. There’s lots of space and seating to relax inside or out, convenient access to Highway 6 and yet also close to a county road to go on peaceful nature walks where you’ll probably see a road runner or bunnies wandering about.
Whether you're exploring the nearby attractions or simply unwinding in the peaceful ambiance, we look forward to hosting you at our place.
Note: There is a friendly, super lazy resident cat named Cutie Pie that sleeps on the back porch, but she loves to share her space!

One of the very best VRBO we have ever experienced. This little house is beyond adorable. The views are incredible. Everything we needed was there without clutter. Sherri the owner was super nice.

Steak cookoff getaway

We stayed here while competing in the hico texas steak cookoff. It was inly a short drive away to Hico. The house and grounds were beautiful and clarn. Cutie Pie the cat welcomed us back every time. The beds eere very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. Will definitely be back again soon

Total Serenity

The pictures do not do this house justice. Sherri went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable. She even provided us with a pancake and egg breakfast! We were impressed with the large variety of coffee and tea selections and the spa-like setup in the bathroom as well. Too many little added touches to even mention. We were able to see a lot of wildlife late evenings and early mornings as well. Would love to return someday!

Tranquil, cozy stay

I only booked this for one night and wish we could have stayed longer. The house was lovely, clean, with a very usable kitchen. Sherry the host was a delight and super communicative. We will definitely book again if we are back in the area.

Wonderful Stay

Thank you for a wonderful stay. Everything was just great! The property was very well kept and quiet. Large front and back porches, very nice for sitting to have coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening. Loved watching the cottontail bunny family and the roadrunner in the mornings. The resident kitty was very sweet and not a bother at all. She didn't care much for being held/petted, but she loved rubbing herself on your feet or legs. Very easy check in/check out. Host responded very promptly when contacted. Everything was very clean and neat; beautifully staged. Very well stocked kitchen and bathroom, with attention to even the smallest details. Comfortable bedding. Comfortable living area with lots of games and books available. We stayed only a couple of days, but will definitely book again when back in the area.

Horse Trip

This Place was amazing the view the peacefulnesses of the place and our new buddy the cat tht hangs around.. Host was awesome always in contact since we reserved the house making sure we didn’t need anything and ready to accommodate anything we may need for our stay everything was GREAT HIGHLY RECOMMEND if u looking for a peaceful place to get away this is it !! We will DEFINITELY be bck
