This newly renovated vacation home features 4 spacious bedrooms, including a primary suite, with 3 full bathrooms. A beautiful great room with gas logs, wrap around porch and spectacular mountain views. In addition, a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, game room with pool table and an elevator for easy access between levels. This authentic log home, which sits high in the Smoky Mountains, is just a quick drive to Historic Downtown Waynesville. Enjoy the outdoor stone patio, fire pit and gas grill.
5 minutes to Downtown Waynesville, NC
15 minutes to Maggie Valley, NC
30 minutes to Cataloochee Ski Area
35 minutes to Harrah's Casino, Cherokee Gambling
40 minutes to Asheville, NC- home of the Historic Biltmore House
Day trips to: Nantahala and Ocoee white water rafting, Grandfather Mountain, Hot Springs, Blue Ridge Parkway and much more.

Please Note:
* We provide a "starter amenity package" which includes: 1 roll of paper towels, small sponge/dish soap, 2 pods for dishwasher, 2 trash bags, 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom and 2 tide pods for laundry. These items are provide for your convenience and are intended to get you through the first 24-48 hours. All linens, blankets, towels, pillows, shampoo/body wash and a hair dryer in each bathroom are provided.
* For security purposes there are 2 smart doorbells and a google nest camera on driveway. There are NO inside surveillance devices/cameras.

Everything was as listed, and the property is beautiful.We really appreciated the Christmas tree in the living area, and large wreath at the entrance. Because we were coming some distance, we had no room traveling with such items. It was specious for the 8 of us,and suited our needs perfectly.

Great for groups

We attend an annual Gourd Gathering festival in Waynesville. The house was incredibly comfortable for five, and the elevator was easy to use.Parking was easy for four cars, although it wouldn’t work for a trailer. The kitchen had every appliance necessary and a separate icemaker, which was nice for the woman driving back to Iowa.The house is dog, friendly, and easy to keep clean. The host was very responsive and answered questions quickly. Zero complaints.

Friends getaway!

We enjoyed our annual friends get-together at this lovely home. The home was comfortable, clean, and modernly furnished, while still maintaining a mountain getaway atmosphere. The owners clearly put a lot of time and care into ensuring their guests have a warm and relaxing experience.

Perfect Family Getaway

The home is beautiful and very clean. We easily found everything we could have needed and more. Jayne thought of everything a guest could need. We have stayed in many VRBO homes and this was by far the best. Everything is so well organized. Communication with Jayne was excellent. She truly was a 5 star host. The location was wonderful for visiting Waynesville and other nearby towns. We would stay here again.

Magical Christmas

Our family enjoyed a wonderful 5 night stay over the Christmas holiday. The kitchen was well equipped for all of cooking and baking needs. We enjoyed the gas fireplace and beautiful views. We would love to come back for a 3rd stay in the future!

Perfection

Our favorite vacation rental. Perfect for our friends who are all active seniors. My husband is in a wheelchair and this home was easy to move around in…he even enjoyed the fire pit! We did not go shopping for anything. We hope to stay here again.

Graduation Weekend

Wonderfully appointed, cozy getaway mountain house. We were in town for my daughter's graduation from WCU and had family in from NY, CA and VA. Modern kitchen (and everything else), amazing porch and fire pit. The elevator was perfect for our elderly parents and everyone had a great time here.

This property was the best VRBO we have ever stayed out. The pictures were very accurate. The host was the most organized I have ever seen. The finishes and furnishes were high quality and beautiful! We will stay here again. The driveway looks scary but is very navigable. Well done!

Memorable!

We celebrated my 65th birthday in Jayne's cabin, and we had the best time! Everything was neat as a pin and very organized, (especially in the kitchen area). Beds were comfy and linens were soft and comfortable, which I think is an important factor when on vacation.. (Who wants to sleep in a bed that sags in the middle?) The views are amazing and the cabin is very cozy! Very convenient to downtown Waynesville. Thank you, Jayne, for helping to make my 65th birthday so memorable. "Looking forward to our next stay!

Great cabin!

Wonderfully cozy cabin with plenty of room. We brought my mother here for a trip to the mountains and a Christmas Day at Biltmore to mark her 80th birthday. We all had a fabulous time and this cabin and host helped to make it specatcular! Really fabulous spot.

Cozy Cabin

This property was very clean, and the property manager/owner was very communicative with answering any questions or home needs. We were here for a birthday weekend/NYE, and the location was perfect. So close to activities, but felt remote. Only nitpick about the property is that there isn't an indoor stairwell, but we would still stay at this property again.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin nestled in the mountains. The cabin is spacious and we loved sitting on the porch looking out at the mountains. The adorable town of Waynesville is only a short drive away. Would stay again!

Quick trip to NC

Our family took a quick trip to Waynesville for a family wedding. 2 grand parents and aunts and a some cousins enjoyed our stay together at this cozy cabin in the mountains! Loved our stay and would love to return some day soon. Very clean and warm and welcoming!
