Beautiful scenery, beautiful home, very comfortable accommodations and it was very inspiring to wake up “in the clouds” every morning. We only had one minor issue and it was remedied within minutes. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay.

We had a nice weekend despite all the cold and rain. Check-in was easy. They gave us a code to the door. Everything was clean and the things we used were in working order. It’s a long way up to the cabin but it’s all paved which made it nice. They have Everything you would need in the kitchen. Even a food thermometer for the grill which was nice. We did use the hot tub which was relaxing on this cold weekend. We saw a bunch of deer but not bears. We used the big huge table for games and dinners and our group of six had room to spare. Thanks for letting us stay a few days.

Nice Mountainous Escape

The views are gorgeous! Definitely worth the more than the 9 hour drive. The place is immaculate, spacious, and quiet. My family members, with ages ranging from 12 to 71, had an awesome time!

Peace & Quiet, Views, Beautiful Grounds

We had a great stay over the week of Thanksgiving. The location of the cabin is perfect for visits to Waynesville, Maggie Valley, Sylva, Cherokee, Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Asheville. Very nice being at the top of the mountain for the views but also the peace & quiet - it felt like we had the mountain to ourselves. There were only three of us, but the grounds are perfect for a large group (tons of space outside to spread out, throw the football, use the fire pit, etc). Views are amazing, hot tub works well. Kitchen is well stocked. Drive up the mountain was fine, no worries. Main living area in the cabin is larger than the pictures. Enjoyed the shuffleboard. Note: we did not use the grill or fireplace, so cannot comment on those. Highly recommend!

Excellent location for family get-together

The cabin is beautiful, and exactly as listed, including a spectacular view. Fully-equipped kitchen and plenty of gathering spaces. It’s not too far from grocery stores and Waynesville, a fun little town to visit with great shops and restaurants.

A Beautiful Getaway

The cabin is beautiful. You can tell the owners take pride as it was clean and accommodating to our group. Coffee on the deck watching the clouds and scenery was breathtaking. Close to everything we may have needed in the small town and just a short drive to many hikes and places to see.

Great secluded cabin

This was such a great cabin for relaxation! Very secluded and fantastic views. Spent a fun day in Asheville, but downtown Waynesville was a really nice surprise, and only about 10 minutes away. We spent two days at the cabin without leaving and took a nice walk on the roads and spent much of our time on the porch. We were surprised to see deer that far up the mountain, beautiful sight! We will definitely stay again when we travel to Asheville. Thank you for a great stay!

Great place, house was as advertised, area was non touristy which is what we wanted. Steep drive up, made wife nervous, but no worries for me.

Heaven on Earth!

Spent long weekend with friends and house was perfect for 8 of us! Pictures don’t do it justice as it sits on very top of mountain and views are incredible! We cooked a couple of our dinners in and found kitchen extremely well stocked. Everything we needed was right there! We enjoyed the hot tub, shuffleboard, and fire pit and would return here in a minute! You definitely won’t regret staying here —

Great property

Really enjoyed this spot, had virtually everything we needed in the kitchen and all the bedrooms were great. Plenty of areas to hang out in and out of the house and close to town. Highly recommend staying here if you get the chance!

Beautiful Property

This is a beautiful property. The cabin is larger than the pictures portray and is very clean. The kitchen had everything you need to cook up some great meals. There were 3 couples in our party. It was our annual cabin trip to the mountains and we absolutely loved it. Had quite a few shuffleboard matches during our stay. Would return tomorrow if we could.

An amazing mountain experience!

This property exceeded all expectations. The views were astonishing and are the highlight of the stay. The cabin is very secluded and it feels like you have the mountaintop to yourself. Two fire pits, plenty of wood, a charcoal grill, a gas grill, and a hot tub all outside. The cabin interior is perfect for the location. If we’re doing a group trip in the Asheville area again, we hope to stay here!

Girls Weekend

We love this property! This is our second year spending our annual girls weekend here. It’s fantastic. Great communication, clean, spacious, well appointed and everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. We will be back next year. The view is spectacular and did I mention the momma bear and three cubs eating apples from the tree? Amazing. Thank you!

At the top of Utah Mountain Estates, we found our place. Breathtaking views and a quiet escape. A beautiful cabin large enough to bring together families and friends.

It is our goal to create an experience that is memorable. We hope you remember our cabin, but what we hope you remember even more is the time you spent with others.

For those wanting to go out and visit local breweries, this is your place. For those wanting somewhere to bring your grandparents and children, this is your place. For those wanting to plan a couples retreat, this is your place.

Privacy & accommodations. For being at the top of the mountain, it is quite unique to have usable flat space outdoors where you can enjoy a campfire, picnic & horseshoes. Our goal is to make your stay as seamless and feel as much "at home" as possible. To that extent, we have thoroughly stocked our cabin with the essentials to make this "plug and play".
