Newly Remodeled Bird House - Close to many of the loved Sister Bay stops and just up the hill from the infamous Door County Ice Cream Factory and a short bike ride to downtown Sister Bay! 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, great for families and friends. One story, open concept home with modern necessities, such as wi-fi and smart tv's in each room. Unplug outside with 4 bikes for use, screened in porch and firepit and grill. Fully stocked kitchen for those who want to grill out their summer meals or bake during the winter months! Summer or winter, this is a great landing point for all things Door County.

Brand new in November 2024, a 6 person outdoor barrel sauna!

We are taking over property managing ourselves after owning the home for 2 years and will have the same amenities and beautiful home many have visited and raved about the last 2 years (with over 24 positive reviews)!

Note: there are ring cameras on the premise of the property. These are only in public areas and for maintenance of the property.

Loved how comfortable the home was! Beds, seating, couches, all very comfortable! The table chairs could probably use cushions, just because they sit a little low. Plenty of easy parking. Loved the home! Had a fire in the fire pit outside a couple times. The home had everything you would need!

We enjoyed our stay at this house in Door County! We stayed a few nights with family and enjoyed the quietness of the area. It’s a nice neighborhood to take a walk and the home offered many amenities.

We absolutely loved our stay!We were in Door County for a family wedding and it was a perfect spot to get ready for the big event.The house was immaculate spacious and equipped with everything we could possibly need.It is on a quiet street and secluded but close to the beach, shopping and biking etc.The outdoor fire pit and sauna are real pluses. We truly love this house and will definitely return!

Our group of 10 could not have lucked out with a better home for our summer vacation! Everyone was so impressed with the cleanliness, spaciousness, sleeping accommodations and all of the amenities including the amazing outdoor sauna and yard space! Communication with the owner was perfect since we booked over a year prior. We loved walking down the hill to the water, and especially using the bikes on the scenic Waters End road, with incredible nature scenery and views of cherry orchards! Can’t say enough positive things about our stay and the memories made. Thank you!!

Large comfortable living area and plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our extended family vacation with our adult children. House has everything we needed, even littleextras like coolers to bring with us forpicnics. Highly recommend this property and these property owners. Very good communication.

Girl's Weekend Trip to Door County

We loved this property and the communication was great! You could not have asked for a more beautiful back yard with all the trees in full fall color!! Everything was clean, the beds were very comfortablea and we had all the comforts of home. The extra little touches llike coffee, shampoo and a couple of treats made it so nice! It was only a few minutes from downtown and the parking was great! It would have been nice to have been able to pull into the garage because it was so cold and raining when we arrived, but it wasn't a deal breaker. We would definitely rent this house again if we return.

Friends retirement celebration

We had 4 adult couples staying for a celebration weekend for our friend. Great location as home base to explore the entire county. We went from Baileys Harbor to Washington island, and every bar and local spot in between. The space was perfect, the outdoor fire pit was really a great feature because we had 4 days of perfect weather with cool nights. Thank you for having a great place. Wouldn’t change a thing!

Fabulous Property

The property was so spacious & well appointed! Bedrooms were very large & comfortable, with a large flat screen in each. The open living area gave us an opportunity to spend time together as a family. The kitchen with all its accessories made meal prep a joy. I highly recommend this property. It made our vacation memorable!!

Girls Getaway

Great place, lots of space for a larger group. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and it had all the amenities we needed. It was a cozy relaxing place to spend our evenings in and great location for our adventures in Door County. We will absolutely book here again for our next trip.

Family time

Property was great! Neat, clean with all the comforts of home! Layout of home was perfect! It met all our needs and had plenty of room for 6 adults! Large table perfect for family game nights and the fire pit had plenty of comfortable seating for everyone. The host provided the right amount of contact to ensure we were comfortable.We truly enjoyed our stay.

Great Sister Bay Stay

This house was very clean and was a great convenient location to the main area of Sister Bay, but still felt very private. We would definitely stay again! My only complaint would be I wish there was dressers in the bedrooms for drawer space for clothing.

Lovely stay in Sister Bay

Really lovely house and location. Spacious and open, with a great porch, kitchen, and plenty of communal space for our 9 people (which is never a sure thing). Looks just like the pictures. The owners were lovely and responsive. And we saw a doe and fawn on day 1.

Door County Family Reunion

Lovely location in Sister Bay above the hub-bub. In a little neighborhood, yet seemed secluded and private. Amenities were first class. 7 of us stayed in the home and a couple of family dinner gatherings were held here. Lots of room and areas to spread out in. Young adults could get away from the old folks, gathering around fire ring or on the screened porch.

Great location and wonderful home for family reunion

Our family greatly enjoyed our stay at the Bird House for a family reunion with our 3 adult children/spouses and two 10 mo old grandsons. The home was exactly as pictured on VRBO and was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. It had that WOW factor when we all walked in for the first time. We were welcomed with a card and a basket of goodies that were much appreciated. The house is in a quiet, residential neighborhood, so it felt away from tourists and yet was close enough to all the shops and restaurants in Sister Bay. The house was perfect for playing games at the kitchen table, sitting outside around the fire pit for extended conversation, enjoying some quiet space on the enclosed back porch, and felt very private with trees surrounding the entire property. Our adult kids enjoyed riding the bikes and the babies loved the bike trailer. John was an extremely gracious and responsive host and checked in with us on our first day to make sure our stay was going well. He even ordered a tea pot and had it shipped to the home so we could boil water for tea. When we had a few questions, he responded immediately with answers. I would highly recommend the Bird House for a stay in Sister Bay. It was the perfect location for exploring area county and state parks and close to other Door County towns but felt like we were away from all the hustle and bustle of crowded Door County towns. It was a peaceful respite for our family reunion!

Beautiful Bird House

We absolutely loved our stay at Bird House! It had everything we needed for a perfect visit to Sister Bay. We have family just down the street, and have been visiting Sister Bay for 20+ years. The family home has run out of room for us with grown adult children (and grandchildren) so we needed a convenient option for my husband, 3 kids and myself. This was it! We loved how clean and homey it was. The location is perfect…just up the hill from all the hustle and bustle, but close enough to everything to not miss out on all the fun Sister Bay offers. The only downfall is that our stay wasn’t long enough! ☺️

Beautiful, great location!!

The house was beautiful, spacious, and immaculate. Perfect Sister Bay location. We had 2 couples and 4 kids and felt like we had plenty of room.
