On 30A, 4 Houses from Beach with Beachfront Pool, between Rosemary and Alys

Everything you could possibly need awaits you in this 2BR + Third-floor "Crows Nest" + 2 Full Bath courtyard home with a guest garage for vehicle and another garage to store bikes and beach gear. Located south (Gulf side) of 30A, gated Villas at Sunset Beach is a 5 minute walk to Rosemary and Alys Beach shops and restaurants. The house sleeps 8 total. First-floor bedroom has 2 Queen Beds with full bath and laundry closet with large capacity front load washer/dryer. Second-floor Master Bedroom has a King Bed and full bath. There is a small, covered balcony off the master bedroom with two Adirondack Chairs. Third-floor "Crows Nest" has two twin beds situated in a built-in "L" shape. Please note: the Crows Nest is an open space (no door) and most suitable for children/teens as there is limited space for luggage, etc.

The second-floor, living/dining area is cozy, inviting, and beautifully decorated with a well-appointed kitchen. The French doors off the living room lead to a deck with a patio table and seating for 4. Kitchen has granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances. The island has seating for 4, and the sofa table converts to a table, if needed.

Only 10 of the 34 homes in the community have garage parking. This home has 2 garages. Please note the garage spaces are very tight (7ft 10in wide) you will need to pull your mirrors in, and depending on the length of your vehicle you may have to leave the garage doors up while your vehicle is parked in the garage. The left garage stores beach chairs guests are welcome to use.

This is a gated and guarded community and has a HEATED (seasonally) oceanfront pool.

Pet Friendly: If bringing a pet, an additional non-refundable pet fee of $350 will be added to your booking. Pet must be pre-approved by owner. Please contact owner before you book. A maximum of 1 dog is allowed and must be 30 lbs or less.

We have stayed in this neighborhood several times in the last year because we are looking to purchase. Property was undeniably unsanitary including the mattress once sheets were stripped have several urine or other fluid stains. The property door was 6 inches ajar when we entered the property at check in, so upon investigating the lock on the door was sketchy to say the least and did not lock everytime we left on several occasions. We purchased barrier poles to secure entry at nite from intruders (not likely in this neighborhood but nonetheless peace of mind.) We spoke with several owners while we were there and they were disappointed to hear. Never had any of these issues when staying there at other units. We respect peoples homes and this was def under par for this area and price point. Sorry to offend but this place was dirty and not secure.

Loved this house! It is laid out so nicely so that my family of 4 was able to enjoy lots of time hanging out without feeling like we were on top of each other. The two balconies were perfect for lounging about reading. We were steps away from the beach and an easy walk away from Alys and Rosemary.Everything was in great shape. All appliances worked perfectly and I the washer and dryer seemed practically new. Lastly, we were worried about the garage sizes but had nothing to worry about as I easily fit a Hyundai Santa Fe into the garage without any issues.Overall, we absolutely loved this house and can't wait to go back!

Great house.

5th year in a row vacationing in 30A for Fall Break. This was the best location we have had. So convenient to be able to walk back and forth to beach in a matter of minutes. House was great. Liked having the garage to park SUV in and access to beach chairs and cooler. Accomodations were very nice as well.

Great location

This home was great for our family of 4. We could walk everywhere we wanted to go in Rosemary and Alys. And it was steps from the beach. This is the perfect location for kids who want to be at the beach nonstop. We were short a few supplies upon arrival but the property manager was wonderful and helped us resolve it quickly.

Sunset villas ar Seacrest beach/sandcastle

The property is beautiful and very close to the beach with a wonderful pool. The house is very centrally located. My only complaint is how crowded the “private” beach is. We did not realize all 300+ homes and a large condo complex also shared a beach with us. Packed like sardines. Of course we had a great time because it’s the beach but we will not be back to Seacrest because the “private” beach is ridiculously crowded We reserved chairs through Dolce La Vita and I HIGHLY recommend you do the same so you can at least have a reserved spot. Get hem 4 months early to get 1 or 2 row. Anything after that is not worth it.

Badly in need of TLC

Have stayed in this neighborhood in the past few years and the access to the beach is fantastic - first time staying at this condo for 9 days in late Feb/early Mar. This place is very tired looking. The units are not new and this one is badly in need of updates. Doors are falling apart. Blinds and outdoor cushions need to be replaced. The porch railings were replaced but never painted. We were disappointed in the response to problems such as the fire alarm going off in the middle of the first night. The listing and photos did not depict the condition that this unit was in. Just be advised there are other very lovely units - do not overpay for this one!

Loved it!

We had a great stay over February break. Janice was a great communicator and it was easy to check in. The house was exactly as described and fit 5 of us comfortably. It is also well stocked. The weather was not warm but we still sat on the beach, rode bikes, walked everywhere, and took advantage of the shopping and restaurants nearby. We love this neighborhood because it is gated with direct, private beach access. We also had some amazing sunsets! We would definitely stay again.

Perfect house in perfect location!

This is a lovely home with everything you need to have a fabulous vacation at the beach! Communication with the owner was so easy and responses came quickly! We had no issues but it was nice to know that Janice was just a quick call or text away! Highly recommend this lovely home! We will be back!

Sandcastle at the Villas at Sunset Beach was fantastic! Well equipped with all the sundries, chairs, umbrellas, etc., that you need for the beach and plenty of beach towels as well. The house was very clean and the cupboards were well stocked. The location is just few short steps to the beach and walking distance to plenty of shopping and restaurants. Janice, the Owner, was very receptive to all our needs when we had any questions. We will definitely be back!

Last Minute Weeklong Vacation

The property was as described—close to beach, decent pool, great parking, etc. It was clean-ish, mostly just older and in need of update/refresh. We were thankful to find a beachside property w/in days of our arrival—and Janice was easy to communicate with & very responsive. All that is fine, but renters should know about the beach situation. The entire beach in front of the property is sandwiched between other private beaches so basically all of Seacrest visits this small section of beach-and while that is what it is, the area is dominated by chair rental companies. So, what does that mean? While the property owners were generous to leave chairs and umbrellas, I would have to get out there at 7:30am (not a huge deal) to earmark a spot for my umbrella and chair. When I went back, I’d have every Tom, Dick, and Harry right up next to me-within 2-3 feet-playing their music & letting their heathens run around. It’s not their fault so much as the way the beach area is managed. I discovered there were many rules-no tents (not a big deal for me, but it was sad to see them tell folks with large families to take them down), if you brought your own gear, you had about 50ft to use and compete with all of Seacrest—to be clear, they golfcarted folks in from the otherside of 30A, & beach chair rentals were more than competitors at ~$90 per day with no weekly discounts. In a pinch, I’d stay again—but instead would plan ahead and stay elsewhere. For the $, Rosemary has more space/amenities.

Just what we needed!

Our family vacation included 3 adult children ages 23, 21 & 19. We loved the location! The beach was extremely crowded, but we made it work. Our walks to dinner & shopping in Rosemary Beach were perfect. We only drove to dinner 2x the entire week. Once to Florida Fish house which was just minutes away and once to George’s in Alys Beach because we were dressed up and didn’t want to walk. The convenience of the property will have us returning! Thank you so much for sharing your property with us.
