INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Great stay

Loved staying here with our family of four. Very close to the beach. Convenient to walk to restaurants and shopping. Liked that is was gated with security.

Perfect Girls Getaway

This location was perfect for our girls getaway. Two of my friends and I stayed here for a long weekend and loved the property’s amenities and location. The bikes included made it so enjoyable to ride to dinner, shopping, or happy hour. We had the pool to ourselves each time and the beach was gorgeous. I definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back.

We loved everything about Stillwater Cottage ~ convenience to restaurants and shopping, 2-minute walk to the pool and beach, lovely, quiet neighborhood with security and we all agreed Stillwater Cottage was the cleanest property on 30A. Will stay again!

Beachy Thanksgiving

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Literally 1-2 minute walk to the beach. Gated community with security that actually made rounds . Located within walking distance of Rosemary and Ally’s beach. Perfect location. Had chairs, umbrellas and skim boards. And the added round of golf everyday and the free bike rentals were a great perk ! Perfect Getaway ! Would definitely stay here again !

Fabulous girls getaway

We recently stayed at Stillwater cottage at Seacrest Beach. So very close to Rosemary Beach and absolutely fabulous! The cottage was really cute and decorated tastefully. We loved the large balcony and outside seating area. The beach was a super close walk and the neighborhood was quiet and adorable. It is more ideal for a smaller group than 6 but you can make due with the beds. The bunk beds are scary from the top at night but it’s fine for those with no issues climbing. I recommend for a family or group of 4-5. Would recommend staying here.

Dissatisfied for the price

Location is great…. But the property management company gave the wrong codes for gates, the bed was the worst ever, oven did not work, the shower leaked, and the house needs updating..

Great location and cozy place!

Awesome location right by the beach. Great fit for our family of 5. Check in was tricky - it was actually hard to find the right unit and had to call the property management multiple times. Also our key card to the pool didn’t work, and after calling multiple times we were literally told to “jump the fence” to use the pool. (With our three young children!) Obviously we refused and eventually got it worked out - so the next user should have a functional key card! Besides those things, overall a good property.

Amazing property, crowded location

Be Warned: If you want to visit the beach this property is zoned for VERY little coast. It is NOT Rosemary like the listing states; it is Seacrest. There is not enough shoreline to support the development that attaches across the street and shuttles in guests like Grand Central Station. The home is zoned for Sunset Beach, which we found to be an absolutely crowded nightmare (think General Admission grass seating at a Dave Matthews concert with chairs from shore to stairs.) It’s not that way ANYWHERE else on the beach - we walked both directions 20+ minutes and NO other “private beach” had anywhere close to the amount of people they’re packing into this tiny space. Many other areas were desolate with maybe 20 visitors, where we easily had 1,000+. It was not relaxing or safe - there was no room for children to play and the only way to get decent seating was to show up at 6 am to mark your territory. And this was off season/October. Mostly it was sad and unnecessary as there was an abundance of empty shoreline in all zones outside of this one. What a shame these homeowners allowed this to happen. And what a shame it wasn’t disclosed that beach access was scarce - it absolutely ruined our trip to drive 7+ hours for the beach and find one not available. We ended up having to load up and drive to use public beaches, despite paying the price tag for private ones walking distance from a beach with no room. Now we do want to share that the home was PERFECT. We can’t say anything but positive notes on the layout, the balconies, the outdoor space, natural light, cleanliness, etc. Excellent for a family of 4. If the homeowners ever rezone to sandy Shores (one street over) we would be back im a hurry! But as it stands we love the beach and this property doesn’t allow adequate access. Happy to share photos of the absurd crowds on the beach - it’s truly unbelievable.

Love the location!

We had a great stay on our first trip to 30A. The location was perfect for pool, beach and Rosemary/Aly's Beach areas. Our app was not updated with check in information, but after a quick call to the property manager she was able to get us in the gates since security was gone for the evening. The house was a great fit for a family weekend away and stocked with all of the essentials. The only thing missing is beach towels so be sure to pack some for your stay!
