Azula Vista USVI - your Fortress of Solitude Villa

Azula Vista is a stroll away from gorgeous Secret Harbor Beach with sand, snorkeling, and the oceanside Sunset Grille. Two minutes by car is Red Hook, with restaurants, shops, and ferries to other islands. Take in postcard perfect views, float in the sparkling pool, or walk to the waves—Azula Vista has it all and was featured on HGTV’s “Caribbean Life.”

The space
Island elegance in a location that can’t be beat—welcome to Azula Vista! Located on the East End of St. Thomas, Azula Vista is perched above gorgeous Secret Harbor with tremendous views of the Caribbean Ocean. A five-minute stroll takes you right to Secret Harbor Beach for days of sand and snorkeling in pristine water where sealife abounds. Grab a drink or a bite to eat at the oceanside Sunset Grille. Or do your own grilling on Azula Vista’s entertainment deck with one of the largest private swimming pools on St Thomas. Red Hook’s restaurants, shops, ferry dock, and vibrant nightlife are a 2 minute drive away.

Azula Vista has three levels, with plenty of space for large groups and families, Daikin air conditioning system, Wifi, and parking for 3 cars. The top level has a large great room, perfect for gatherings, with floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors, full-sized dining table, and a gourmet style kitchen. This area is separated by a breezy lanai from two bedrooms, each with king beds and private full baths. Dine al fresco or toast the sunset in the inner garden courtyard with both covered and uncovered areas and stunning views.

The lower level of the villa consists of two more suites with their own kitchens and-of course- ocean views from inside the rooms or on the 2nd level balcony. One sleeps 4, with a private bedroom with king bed and sleeper sofa in the living area. The other is a studio that can also sleep 4 on king bed and sleeper sofa.

On the lowest level lies the pool deck, primed for leisure and entertainment. Enjoy outdoor living at it’s best with a wet bar and grill, chaise lounges, outdoor shower, powder room, and a sparkling pool perched above the blue Caribbean water.

much needed family time

We had a great stay with our adult children. We were able to cook when we wanted to, play lots of games and relax by the pool. There was a beach and restaurant just a 10 min walk down the hill. When we had questions, Jennifer (property manager) was very prompt to response and help us. Angel and Tony were very helpful with giving us information prior to the trip on what items they had and what we needed to bring. (Kitchen is very well stocked for with everything from coffee, filters, tea to pots and pans. Laundry room too!) They had just installed a counter top ice maker (we didn't really use it, but it was a nice feature...it did seem to have ice in it if we desired)

Four Family Apartments

We visited as an extension of a wedding trip. We had four couples and the four separate living areas worked great. There was an issue with the plumbing in one unit and the owners worked to get it fixed in a couple days (which is amazing considering island time! and they refunded a portion of the rent as well) A little outdated, but nice. There are three levels as noted in the listing, so some stairs to deal with. The pool was good to relax in after running around all day. We used the BBQ one night which was a fun break from eating out. Kitchen was well furnished. We had breakfast most mornings. Also, the owners were helpful with planning activities and giving ideas. All in all a good stay.

Perfect Family Vacation!

We had the absolute BEST time at our stay at Azula Vista! Everything was perfect, from the gorgeous views, the amenities, the beach/snorkeling….we could not have asked for a better place to stay! The communication with the hosts was above and beyond, as they were always willing to answer questions, offer suggestions of things to do, and help if we ever needed anything. The house was perfect for our family of 9, with 4 separate bedrooms and all the amenities you need (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, dishwasher detergent, beach towels and chairs, etc.). Plenty of space to be together but also space if anyone needed down time alone. We spent most of our time at the house sitting outside on the main floor on the covered balcony. The views are amazing and the breeze was so nice! Our kids did enjoy the pool every day as well! Secret Harbor beach is a 5 minute walk downhill and was our favorite beach we visited on our trip! It was never crowded and the snorkeling was fantastic! We saw so many fish, as well as a stingray and a sea turtle! We also enjoyed a few meals at the restaurant right there on the beach. My family hopes to come back to St. Thomas some day and we would definitely love to stay at Azula Vista again!

Exactly what we needed for a group of 9

The view and location!!! From beginning to end I had a great experience working with Tony and Angel. They answered all my questions, recommended me taxis, food services, things to do on the island and were always prompt to reply. We celebrated my parents 70th and we all met up in Azula Vista Villa. There was plenty of room for us to all have our own seperate space where we could all meet up in the family room yet head to our own quarters when we needed alone time. The home is set up nicely with two main bedrooms upstairs and two studio like apartments downstairs with kitchenettes. I loved the layout as we didn't have to travel upstairs to cook or grab a drink. The teens enjoyed the pool, they swam in it everyday and used the floaties and other pool toys available. Plenty of parking if you have a rental car. The beach and restaurants were about a 5 mile walk down hill. Close to red hook for more restaurants and night life. We had Tony and Angel help us set up dinner with one of their partners on the day we arrived. We had a Taco bar set up and it made the whole travel day that much better. We also had groceries delivered to the home by recommendations from them as well. A great experience the whole family loved! Book this home before you miss out!

Amazing stay!

We had an incredible visit to St. Thomas and Tony and Angel were some of the best hosts we’ve ever booked with! Jennifer and Kendra, our island hosts, were also amazing to work with. Prior to the trip, they communicated a lot of great information with us so we felt very prepared for the stay. When we first got there and ran into a few issues, Angel and Jennifer were very responsive and got things resolved for us as quickly as possible. This property was a fantastic place to stay for a week! The view is amazing, the pool is really large and very clean, and the house itself was incredibly comfortable and spacious for 9 people. We really enjoyed the stay and would definitely book with them again. A couple of notes about the location. We rented a car which worked out better than a taxi for our group of 9. And it didn’t take too long to get used to driving on the left side of the roads! The house is within walking distance (down a hill) to Secret Harbour, which has a fantastic beach for relaxing and snorkeling. The house is also very close to grocery stores and the Red Hook area, which has a lot of great restaurants and excursions. Food is very expensive on the island, so we packed a bunch of snacks from home which worked out great. Also, it’s imperative that you check your sunscreens as they only allow mineral sunscreens for reef safety. We would definitely go back to the island and this property! Loved all of it!
