Cozy Creole Cottage by Sloan's Lake.

Enjoy your stay in this eclectic 1890s cozy creole cottage 1/2 block off of Sloan's Lake and close to downtown Denver, light rail, and bus route. This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage is 1200+ sq ft and completely remodeled and furnished with love. Enjoy a stroll around Sloan's Lake or explore quaint Edgewater and check out Joyride Brewery, US Thai, the Electric Cure and more. Highlands Square and the shops/restaurants on Tennyson are all within a mile or two! Easy access to public transportation.
The space
I hope this cozy creole cottage will make you feel right at home - relaxed and welcome! There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a Queen bed in the primary bedroom and 2 guest bedrooms (one with a full-sized bed and the other with a daybed/single). The house has central A/C and heat and there is a 40" Roku smart TV for streaming along with fast WiFi. Guests have access to the washer and dryer and the fully fenced backyard. The main bathroom has a deep, soaking tub and the primary bedroom has its own bathroom attached with a shower. Guests have full access to the house excluding the garage. There is ample parking on the street in front of the house, but please read the signs for street sweeping restrictions. There is a private back patio with a table outside for a meal or morning coffee. Feel free to use the gas BBQ grill and front, side or backyards!

Beautiful property

This cottage is beautifully landscaped that felt like an escape. The inside was perfectly decorated and super comfortable and easy to relax in. The lake nearby just adds the cherry on top.

Loved everything about my stay here! The house was cozy, spacious, relaxing and funky. The backyard was a perfect space to relax after a long day of walking around and hiking. We enjoyed starting and ending each day with a stroll around the lake. I would recommend this house to anyone I know who was visiting the Denver area.

Another wonderful stay!

This is the second time we stayed in Alison's lovely cottage. It is by far our favorite place to stay in Denver. It is quiet, clean, convenient, and incredibly stylish.

Perfect spot near Sloan's Lake

The cozy Creole cottage could not be nicer. Allison had thought of absolutely everything. The back yard is lovely for sitting after a busy day.

Charming cottage

My husband, 10 year old twins, and I enjoyed our stay. It was very well-appointed and in a great location. Charming and lots of cute touches of New Orleans everywhere. Would stay there again!

This cozy cottage was warm and welcoming. We loved the outdoor spaces to read and talk! The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed. We also loved the close proximity to Sloan's Lake. What a great place to walk every morning and then walk across to a great coffee shop. We had a 20 minute drive to Red Rocks which was perfect for us. We attended 2 concerts and had such a smooth drive there and back. Definitely will stay here again if available!

Wonderful stay!

The Cozy Creole Cottage is simply the best. It was delightfully clean, quiet, and well stocked with everything we could need. And on top of that, it was so cute it made us smile every time we walked in. The neighborhood is lovely--we strolled down to Sloan's Lake nearly every morning.

Absolutely the best rental we have stayed at! Everything was provided as stated in the ad and more. We enjoyed the patio with our coffee, the porch swing, walks around Sloan Lake… So comfortable. Felt like home the minute we stepped into entry.

Cozy creole cottage

We absolutely loved this place. We were a very short drive to downtown. Sloan lake was walking distance that we ended our days there. There's so many restaurants, bars, coffee shops just a short walk away. The home itself is clean and has everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Cottage Get Away

Super cute cottage! Had all we needed and then some. Loved the area - can walk to so many restaurants and outdoor activities. Loved that there was closet space and dresser space. Owner was extremely responsive and very nice to work with. Would stay again.

AMAZING!! For a little house, it is so roomy. Every turn is another beautiful space. The same goes for all of the outdoor/garden spots to enjoy. One should definitely read the street signs about parking so as not to be towed during street cleaning. There were so many street parking spots for parking, and cleaning is not all that often. Host is responsive, and we will definitely be back.

What an amazing place to stay that is close to everything. Whether you want to hit Sloan Lake or Denver, or head out rafting, climbing or hiking, this property has it all. Very neat and clean inside, plenty of room, beautiful patio and perfect accommodations inside and out. It was fantastic.

Charming cottage at Sloan lake

We came to the Denver area with friends and found this VRBO to be absolutely perfect. The place was charming and unique. We toured the Denver mint and Hammond candy company in Denver. We made our way to Estes Park and Breckenridge for even more exporing. I would totally recommend staying at this VRBO.
