Laguna Shores Resort experiences one of nature’s best phenomena; tidal fluctuation. When the tide is high the water is literally within 20 feet of the patio, the water is nice and calm because of the location. Expect to enjoy it for several hours before the low tide begins again! When the tide is low you can enjoy one of the most dramatic swings in tide in the world and you can walk out about a mile on the beach sometimes! Please refer to the tide calendar if seeing the water close to the unit is important to you. Some days the tides are low all day long. I can help you choose dates based on the tide calendar if you would like, just ask! Public beaches are only about 10-15 minutes away. You can enjoy activities at high tide and since we are set back in a bay, you can walk in the water for quite a while even during high tide. The high tide is perfect for kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkeling, swimming, shell collecting, kite surfing and whatever else you can think of doing. You can also kayak though our pristine and protected estuary. High tide is especially great for the young ones, as they can play in the puddles and pick up shells and see little crabs. It is a beautiful natural scenery to enjoy.

The resort also has a spa where you can reserve time for facials, massages, manicures & Pedicures. Also has a Jacuzzi that’s heated in the winter, 5,000 sq foot infinity pool, outdoor showers, game room, swim up bar in the pool that serves food & drinks ,bocci ball court, gym, cigar & rum bar, restaurant, corn hole, and a small mini-golf course!

Other things to note:

*There is a Ring doorbell on front door and security camera on back patio.

* Hammock on the patio has a 300 pound weight limit

*Pool is not heated.

* Charcoal, matches & lighter fluid not provided for grill.
