We are from Michigan and enjoy all the beauty of this state. We love sharing our home and helping others find a peaceful place to gather and create memories at the lake, at the nearby beaches, golf courses, local farms, towns and colleges. If you're looking for a place for a gathering or just a restful getaway, Our Island Lakehouse is near enough to do it all and far enough to get away.
Por qué escogió este alojamiento
Just a 3-hour drive from metro Detroit, 20 minutes form Big Rapids, 30 minutes form Mt Pleasant and under an hour from Grand Rapids, this is truly central Michigan. The lake is right outside of the front door with the enclosed overlook where we enjoy morning coffee and quiet time. Golf options include small, easier courses, and Tullymore, a PGA course. For the bigger water, you can head towards Lake Michigan, and any of the amazing places along the coast. For dining out, stay local and dine at Antlers restaurant, a destination winery, get a pizza, barbecue or ice cream under 10 minutes away. If you prefer the more familiar, there are many of those options as well in nearby towns. Horseback riding is also available nearby as well as small concerts in the summer months. We are never bored or lacking options!
