Cozy, rustic log cabin nestled in nature and tranquility. Permitting and inviting, fond of every season solemnly and distinctly to each unique phase of the year. Cool airy days when spring blooms. Surrounded by lively deep green trees with bright blue skies on warm summer days. Restful fall foliage blanket the ground while the trees dress in shades of reds, oranges, yellows, purples, and browns. Comfort in cozy pleasant winters at ease.

Slow time down and repose. Take leisure and be idle in a therapeutic hot tub while enjoying nature's views. Fish, Kayak or just soak your feet in our sizable pond. Picnic or explore outdoors. Reminisce and reconnect with family and friends by the bonfire. Snuggle up with that special someone alongside the fireplace. The adventures are endless!

Our welcoming cabin renders great space and comfort. Has small scale kitchen yet well equipped with plenty of sitting space. Granite counter tops, plenty of space and breakfast bar.
A large refrigerator, four burner stove and oven. Dining set and silverware for up to twelve guests. All the cookware needed to prepare family meals and BBQ's . Two living spaces on the main level, one with a television and the other with a fireplace. Attached indoor jacuzzi room and screened porch. Stocked and modern bathrooms. Our cabin has two-bedrooms up stairs, and two-open concept bedrooms in the basement that can comfortably host eight guests. With room to accommodate up to ten with additional fees. Perfect for the whole family or just honeymooners. Engaging outdoor lounge areas. A large porch for family gatherings. Picnic pavilion for small group events. Includes Wifi and alarm system for protection and easy access.

Taurina Cabin is secluded yet close enough and convenient to many more enjoyable locations.

The decor was beautiful!! My family enjoyed all the things that were available to do there. Some went fishing at the pond. They went Kayaking. They enjoyed the indoor hot tub. We also enjoyed the screened in room & the fire pit on the outdoor balcony. One of the best parts was the nature & tranquility of the location. We would definitely recommend this cabin to everyone.

A Gem in the Woods

Four siblings stayed here for the Memorial Day weekend and Indy 500 attendance. The cabin was extremely clean and a gem hidden in the woods on 16 acres. It was about a 40-minute drive to the speedway -- very easy since the cabin is close to I-69. Even though it's close to the interstate, you'd never know it from the cabin property. Due to the long driveway, the cabin is completely hidden from the road amongst all the mature trees. Just a beautiful setting.Beds were comfortable. Hot water for the showers was plentiful. Kitchen was well-equipped. Furniture was clean and comfortable after a long day. TV worked great with DirecTV and smart apps. Wifi was fast and easily connected.The outside grounds were amazing. Grounds were well kept, lawn mowed, easy parking, etc. We used the fire pit as well. Huge fire pit with all the wood you'd ever need. Surrounding the fire pit were several Adirondack chairs that were sturdy, yet lightweight enough to move around. We had the option to stay closer to the race track, but were so glad we choose this spacious cabin. The 40-minute drive was worth it to escape to the country setting and not be amongst the race weekend craziness. We would highly recommend for your next getaway. Finally, the interaction we had with the property manager was seamless. We had one minor issue and she replied within minutes to solve it. She was a phone call away all weekend if we needed her. We did not thanks to great upkeep.

Taurina Cabin - A Perfect Family Christmas Getaway

Our family had the most wonderful Christmas gathering at the Taurina Cabin near Martinsville, Indiana. Nestled in a picturesque location by a small lake and close to the White River, this cabin provided the perfect backdrop for our holiday celebration.From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene surroundings. The cabin itself was warm, inviting, and beautifully designed, blending rustic charm with modern comforts. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the cozy fireplace in the living room to the well-equipped kitchen where we prepared our holiday feast.The views of the lake were breathtaking, especially in the early morning when the water reflected the soft light of the rising sun. We enjoyed spending time outdoors, walking along the peaceful trails and taking in the crisp winter air. The nearby White River added to the natural beauty and offered a sense of calm and tranquility.The spacious layout of the cabin accommodated our family comfortably, with plenty of room for everyone to relax, play games, and share laughs. The décor was festive and added to the holiday spirit, making it feel like a true home away from home.Overall, the Taurina Cabin exceeded our expectations in every way. It provided not just a place to stay but a space to create lasting memories with loved ones. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in a stunning natural setting. Thank you for making our Christmas so special!

The best secluded and decorated getaway

Perfect weekend getaway spot

The cabin is beautiful and located just far enough away but close enough to not be inconvenient. It’s our group’s second time staying here and we love it! Will definitely book again next year.

Wonderful property

We loved all the amenities that Taurina Cabin had to offer. We went with our adult children and grandchildren.The outdoor fire pit, new hot tub, fishing lake and swing were our favorites. The indoor porch and outdoor deck were very nice too. The setting is beautiful and peaceful. The interior decor was lovely. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. (There's no dishwasher, but we knew that when from the marketing materials. It wasn't stated explicitly, but it wasn't visible in the pictures and not noted in the things they did offer. Take paper plates or be prepared to roll up your sleeves and wash dishes) We took a couple day trips into Indianapolis and appreciated how close it was. We spent a lot of our time in the cabin playing board games and outside enjoying nature. It was a great to have the serenity to decompress and reconnect. This property has a lot of rules and the rules are posted in frames visible in many places, which was a little unsettling. Not being able to snack in front of the TV was the biggest issue for us because we wanted to eat popcorn while watching a movie. Just know what you're getting into when you go there. The rules are clearly noted in the promotional material...there weren't any surprises. We had a couple other issues while we were there -- loose dogs running on the property and garbage can filling up -- but the hosts were easy to reach, responded quickly and were very receptive. When we left, we all said we would like to book it again.

Beautiful Cabin

This is a spacious cabin with expansive, beautiful, remote property to enjoy. We especially enjoyed the fire pit, like-new hot tub with awesome jets, screened in porch and very comfortable furniture and beds throughout. The space is very well decorated in a cozy, but very contemporary style. It was perfect for all ages and allowed for the relaxed family meet up we envisioned. My 8 & 9 year old loved the swing in the yard and exploring the woods and the pond.

Our second time to visit this beautiful location. Last time was Christmas with my brother and family; this time we held a "Cousin's Reunion! A lovely, relaxing location, and the accommodations are top notch!

Nice secluded property

Overall we had a great time at this location and it was very clean. There were stop signs indicating no food/drinks in certain areas and some rules to follow but it was manageable. Based on other reviews we were off-put and very conscious about making sure everything was in perfect order. It made it a bit more stressful with two young children… The swing out front was a lovely addition for the kids and the fishing was pretty good at the pond- lots of small bass. The double beds are located in the basement. The air conditioning worked great but it was quite loud and squeaky during the night. If you closed the door it was much better. Overall this was a nice clean place to stay.
