Super Hosts: Grove Cottage - close to beach, wineries & Spire!

Enjoy a peaceful retreat near everything that matters! The Grove Cottage is LESS THAN 1 mile from a Lake Erie beach, playground, restaurants, bars, and the NEW lakefront Vincent William Winery. Plus, you can travel 10 minutes south to the popular Grand River Valley wine country. Situated on a spacious lot, the fully fenced back yard features a gas grill, fire pit, and outdoor seating for meals or morning coffee.

The space
This open concept home includes a fully functioning kitchen, large living room with a queen sleeper sofa, and a private bedroom with a full-size bed. Gather at the large kitchen island or leverage modern conveniences like the smart TV, high-speed internet, or on-site washer/dryer combo. The large private back yard features a deck with comfortable seating, cafe lights, and a spacious area for outdoor games or fire-side chats.

Perfect little getaway especially for two people and a dog. My dog loved the backyard. Everything you could ever want is provided. Location is perfect, close to restaurants, wineries and the lake. I had a little accident and had to stay "home" for a few days, and I was very cozy and comfortable. We utilized both the air conditioning and the heat during our week because of the fluctuations in weather and they both worked perfectly. I had a question and the host got back to us in a very timely manner. This is our second stay at Grove Cottage and it probably will not be our last.

Great place to spend a weekend at the lake

Nice house, literally a block from Lake Erie. Comfortable, we had 4 adults and 2 small dogs with us. Everything was clean, kitchen was well equipped. I grilled steaks on their gas grill the first night. Next night, we got takeout from one of the restaurants close to the house. Property is a short drive from Geneva-on-the-Lake, but far enough so you have a quiet place at night. Large fenced in backyard, plenty of room for the dogs to roam.

Weekend getaway

Had a great time, close to everything and a quiet neighborhood. Very clean and cute house. Only complaint would be such a tiny bed. Besides that I would recommend.

Clean and well-appointed

Immaculate little cottage equipped with everything you need and more. Loved the fenced yard for the dog. We enjoyed our stay despite needing to cut it short by one day. Highly recommend.

stay was great except should warn about a/c drain it overflows happened to us didn't realize it needed dumped would advise letting people know this or making sure it is drained before they arrive

Great location

A couple hiccups, but the owners were very responsive and friendly. Pretty much as described, we did like the location. Close to the lake, the new Vincent William winery, GOTL, and it is a relatively quiet neighborhood. They have worked hard to think of little things, which was nice. I would bring my own bedding next time, but I’m also pretty picky about linens. Perfect home if you have a dog, nice yard for that…

Lake cottage

It is a very clean, cute cottage. It’s well organized and has everything you need except an ironing board, which we couldn’t find. It is not close the beach/park. It also says it has air conditioning but it’s a window unit and it’s still pretty warm inside the cottage. There was a box fan that helped with the temp. Overall, good stay though.

Attention to Detail

The host thought of EVERYTHING ! This little cottage was ideal for my husband and I…& our pup! Beautiful fenced in backyard and just a minute or two from a beautiful park, winery, ice cream and restaurants. The lake is literally at the end of the street! Short drive to multiple other wineries and an amazing brewery on Main Street called Madison Brewing Co.

Nice location

Very nice small cottage with spacious backyard for games, fire pit and space for pup to run around. Really appreciated all the cupboards being labeled and the decor was tastefully done.

Grove Cottage is adorable

We enjoyed our stay at Grove Cottage. The description was spot on. There are so many little details that the owners have done from labeling everything to the signs and pictures that are fun to read. So much is provided, especially helpful if you forget something. It really had everything you need for a stay, including a washer/dryer, which we did not use but it was nice to have if we needed it. The yard was perfect for our pup. It was quite large. The location is close to the "corner" where there are restaurants and a park to watch the sunset. It was an easy drive to stores, churches, wineries, etc. We could get four cars in the driveway the day my mother-in-law and sister-in-law came for breakfast. Perfect place for us to stay while visiting family in the area. Owners replied to messages very quickly and were very accommodating. We definitely would stay there again.

Amazing place

This is a perfect spot within walking distance to 3 restaurant locations and the beach. We loved it, Very quiet location and they had everything you needed plus more. Dont worry if you forgot something they have extra for you to use. We will be back! Thank you!!!
