Private Guest Suite

Relax in the secluded backyard beside the pool, or take a dip when you stay in our Southern Hideaway. This completely renovated guest suite is just 20 minutes from uptown Charlotte. The full basement has two bedrooms, full kitchen, 75” Smart TV, ping pong table and 1 1/2 bathrooms. Check yourself in the private back door for your relaxing stay! Mark and Robin live upstairs when in town, but you will have the entire spacious basement (1400 square feet) to yourself.
The space
The Guest Suite is spacious and private. You will have the entire basement to yourself with your own private entrance and a locked interior door that you control. There are 2 bedrooms with a full “Jack and Jill” bathroom that is accessible from both bedrooms, and a half bath for your convenience. The main area has a 75” TV, perfect for watching movies, a ping pong table and a dining table overlooking the pool and wooded area outside.

Wonderful experience

This place was great! My son and I stayed for a soccer camp and we wanted for nothing. The property owner was accommodating and the property was so clean. I would stay here again, 100%!!!

Best VRBO EVER

The VRBO was incredible! Check in was easy and the owner was so accommodating. I couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful place. We enjoyed sitting by the pool and dipping our feet in (too cold out for the whole body). It was immaculate, clean and had everything you needed in the kitchen to make elaborate meals. I highly recommend this place. It was beautiful, but the heart of the owner was even more beautiful.

The unit was beautiful. Nice neighborhood and perfect for our needs. You do need to be able to use stairs to access the unit it’s behind the house and there is a small pathway with stairs leading to the unit in the back and then about 7 steps up to the unit with a handrail. But that didn’t affect our stay at all. We were able to cook meals in the home and play the board games they provided and had a great time!

Perfect oasis!

I stayed here for a wedding weekend. It was perfect! Swinging on the porch was so relaxing. The place was spacious and clean and had everything you would need. Highly recommend!

Week in Matthews

We had a great week! My wife and I were down in Matthews visiting our daughter and the guest suite was everything we wanted. Private, clean and great location. Definitely will be back.

Southern Hospitality at it’s BEST!

This is by far the best place we have stayed in! Little touches, big touches, so clean, beautiful neighborhood, and just overall—wow! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and had everything we needed. Robin and her husband are great!

Great stay

Hosts are wonderful and very communicative. They even had a generator going when the power went out from the storm and provided a partial refund due to there not being hot water available for some time. They do things right. Definitely consider this for your next rental.

First of all, the accommodations are lovely, and stocked with everything one might need. It is obvious great care is given to make sure their guests are welcomed. Communication was excellent and I would highly recommend this home for anyone visiting the area. Very close to the town of Matthews - shops and eateries. 10+++

Everything was wonderful

Robin welcomed us with helpful messages before we arrived to their lovely home. We enjoyed the well stocked kitchen and both coffee makers. The pool and outdoor area were used daily as was the oversized fire pit. The swing was an extra nice feature too. The neighborhood is quiet. There was nothing negative about our stay and we hope to come back!

Beautiful Dwelling

My friend and I were pleasantly surprised when we entered the ground/basement floor of this VRBO. It is exquisitely decorated and has top of the line appliances. The TV is massive and the bedrooms were very comfortable. The beds appeared to be memory foam, so they were ultra comfy as well. Thank you so much for opening up your lovely home to us. We will be back!

Wonderful Private Downstairs Suite

We had a wonderful four night stay at Robin's beautiful Guest Suite! Located in a very peaceful neighborhood, the Suite overlooks the beautiful back yard and pool. The Suite is well designed and offered plenty of room for our family of four adults. We enjoyed cooking in the well stocked kitchen and engaging in some lively games of ping-pong in the game area. Most of all, we loved sitting on the broad back porch, enjoying the porch swing and comfortable chairs, watching the birds and the trees, and then diving into the lovely pool! We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Robin is a wonderful host, warm, welcoming and very responsive. Thank you again Robin!
