The location was fantastic. We could see the slopes and the lifts from our condo. Parking was easy, and access to the slopes was simple. The kitchen and bathrooms had everything you needed for a stay-cation. We loved it.

One of the best reasons to have a unit across from Property # 492843 is that if extra family and friends want to be close , we are just across the breezeway. We have easy downhill access to Granby Ranch. There is lots of parking. Nooks to work remotely while the family splashes in the pool. Beautiful views, and space for everyone to spread out.

Being friends with other owners who rent their condos on VRBO makes it easy to have enough room for several families to enjoy skiing. The owner of the condo across the walkway works with us to accommodate groups and families who want to stay close and have room for everyone. We work closely with each other to make Mountainside getaways fun for everyone.

Perfect location

Thanks for the kind words. You are welcome any time. Our unit is a popular place for wedding guests and members of a wedding party. It is close to the lift, lodge, and wedding events, but an amazing place to go to for a break or to freshen up between events. Children who come to the wedding like the heated outdoor pool and the en suite hot tub.

Wonderful access outside, and a beautiful place to stay

Great views, easy to get to anything outside! If you come in the winter, ski-in-ski-out access is a breeze. Summer visitors get quick access to the downhill bike trails, or just a short drive from some of the best hiking in the country!

You are absolutely correct. Our condo has been a refuge during Covid-19. The Wi-Fi is now fast enough for anyone working remotely to be able to settle in and work seamlessly with their industry. It is great for a long weekend get away. With the en suite hot tub, social distancing and remaining with your social distance bubble 'mates', is effortless. Our cleaning service is following all State and county guidelines to ensure a safe place when you arrive.

Lovely ski weekend

We really enjoyed this property, especially the ability to ski in and out and the views. Also glad there were a lot of hooks and shelves to hang wet ski clothes. It was clean and the owners were communicative which is always nice. I wish it had a washer/ dryer in the condo, not just on the premises. Overall, we had a great trip and enjoyed the condo.

Thank you for the kind review. Sorry for not having the boot dryer in the closet. We take it home in the summer, and just forgot this year to bring it back up. I understand about laundry facilities in our unit. I'm an old dog that doesn't like to do laundry when I am on vacation.The air is so dry here, if I hand wash something it is dry in the morning. The laundry room downstairs at Mountainside is closer than my laundry room at home. Thanks for understanding and letting the other pluses in the unit outweigh the laundry minus.

Excellent Location & set-up

Right by the slope, so worked out great for skiing. Plenty of sleeping space for 4 kids and 2 adults. The hot tub in the place was a nice added bonus. The property was in very good shape and the owners were very nice and helpful. We would recommend this place to our friends. Grandy Ranch is a great ski resort for families with kids.

We are so glad that our condo is comfortable and convenient for families who come to ski. It so much easier to keep track of kids from Rainbow Connection II than from the ski area day room or parking lot. Now that our kids are grown it is fun sharing with other families.

Rocky Mountain high!

Our family stay Mountainside exceeded our expectations in every way! Ski in/ski out slope side at Granby Ranch, warm and welcoming fireside and hot tub evenings, comfort and conveniently close to City Market and Granby... this felt like home away from home for my wife and our little ones! We absolutely loved it, and very much look forward to returning.

Very nice stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this location. They keep their facility very nice and hit has a phenomenal view of the valley. Also it is right next to the base lodge which is nice when you take a walk down. Tennis courts are right there as is the chair lift. Very comfortable stay and the owners are the best, so nice and very easy to work with . You will not be disappointed staying here. :)

Great Location

This condo was everything that was described. The location is great for access to Granby Ranch with an easy Ski in/Ski Out ability. The host is very responsive to any problems that arise and will check on guest periodically to make sure everything is going well with the stay. Very close to chair lift

We could see chair lifts from kitchen window. The condo was clean and felt like we were visiting grandma’s house. I liked the cards with different instructions on the wall. Kitchen had all necessary items and then some. Perfect location.

Condo was even better in person!

We spend a long weekend in this lovely condo with my parents visiting from out of state and our small children. The condo was very comfortable and the location was perfect. The owner, Cheryn, was great to work with and even provided tips on how to get cheaper lift tickets. We had a blast skiing, hanging out in the hot tub, swimming, tubing in Fraser, and just spending quality time together. Highly recommend this unit as it surpassed our expectations and hope to stay here again in the future!

Skiing with friends

It was so nice with all the covid stuff going on to just be able to do it all online and see limited people on the trip. We could ski right up to the room basically and go in for lunch and take a break then get right back out on the slopes without having to kill a bunch of time driving. The room was clean and roomy for all of us to stay we enjoyed having the luxury of a full kitchen to be able to cook in. Thank you again it was nice to get away and relax for a few days.

Dennis and Cheryn met 48 years ago 'ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN' at Hidden Valley Ski Area- the only ski area EVER! in a National Park. Dennis grew up on a dairy farm in Pennsylvania. Cheryn grew up on the high desert of eastern New Mexico. We fell in love with the Colorado mountains, and each other and have been here since then. Here we are 2018 paddling around Grand Lake.

Rainbow Connection II is our second piece of mountain property. Right after we were married we built a passive solar home in Summit County. Economy forced us to move and sell the property. When the kids were in Middle School we found Mountainside 114. We purchased it to have a place to get out of town and let the kids bring their friends.
