This 5-bedroom 3 bathroom newly renovated ranch sleeps 16 and offers a nice open concept great room with a double wood burning fieldstone fireplace upstairs and down, patio doors leading out to the lake side wrap around deck from the dining room and a spacious kitchen with lots of workspace and kitchen island all overlooking the lake. An attached garage and a full basement which includes a second family room, you’ll enjoy easy access to snowmobile and UTV trails and you’ll be on the area’s most popular lake with over 14 miles of shoreline for perfect pontoon cruises, quiet bays to explore with your kayak, islands to park and swim. The property is nicely wooded with tall pines & oaks with a flat level area on the water’s edge. The sand bottom makes for great swimming.

The house had plenty of room for all of us inside and out in the yard. Plus there were no mosquitoes this year!

Wonderful Little St. Germain Lake

We have used Anchor Rentals for the last 5 or 6 years and have felt very fortunate to be able to meet our family of 10 at Little St. Germain Lake. Eagle Bay has a quiet, beautiful view of the south bay with numerous eagles. We have traveled annually to this area of Vilas County since 1981. It's always the highlight of our year!!

Annual Family Vacation

We had plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable and enjoy family time. The view of the lake is beautiful and we love the location! Would have loved there to be dressers in the bedrooms but they did have very large closets. Highly recommend this property!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Thank you for the freezer in the garage, and the refrigerator in the basement. Having those two appliances was a big help. Would be nice to have a place to clean fish . I took a garbage can cover out of the garbage and used it on the 2 saw horses outside the lower level along the trees to clean fish. I put the cover on the top shelf in the garage and marked it for fish cleaning. It worked great for cleaning fish .

Year on little St. Germain, wish list for the house would be a extra refrigerator/freezer in the garage or basement . When we have 12 people staying there, never enough freezer/ refrigerator space.

Eagle Bay week of 8/8-8/15

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The night we arrived, we discovered that the boat rental had an oil pressure issue so we couldn't use it that night. It was fixed the next day. The dryer did not work and wasn't fixed during our stay. The kitchen needs updated pots and pans which are teflon and scratched up. The knife set is horrible and does not cut well at all. Please replace these items. We did buy a big pot and left it for others to use. We found a number of pieces of broken glass by the downstairs sliding door where our kids were walking in & out. Otherwise, we did enjoy our stay. These are smaller issues that you could easily address. We did catch a northern pike in the lake!

There was a beautiful view of the lake from the main living area. The large table in the dining area was nice and large so we could all sit together. The wrap around deck was a nice place to sit and relax. We even had deer just out the back door almost all weekend. The house was perfect for a nice family getaway. The weather even cooperated! Would definately recommend this property to friends and family!

This year the weeds took over the lakefront and we didn't use the water for any swimming. last year we were able to use the lake close to the pier. The kitchen needs new knife set that don't really cut anything and pots which are scratched. The house didn't seem as clean as the prior year. The garbage bins were not empty when we came and we had to call to get them emptied mid week. Otherwise enjoyed the fishing and the house all week.

We have been on the South Bay of Little St. Germain Lake for 9 years now. The lake is beautiful and not too busy. The house easily accommodates our family of 10. We make our reservations a year in advance because the memories we make here are so important!
