Amazing Sunsets
The sunsets on this beach can't be beat. A different painting every night...just gorgeous. The condo was great, very clean, fully stocked with just about everything you could need. Beach gear, towels, cooler, sunscreen even, and other assorted toiletries (left from previous guests). The view from the lanai were unbeatable.
The only negatives were the houseless camps that you drive by on the way to the cabanas, and that you are about an hours drive from Waikiki. If you time your drives out of the rush hours (6-8am, 3-6pm) it's a little less.
We didn't have any issues during our 6 week stay, but all my questions before and after our stay were answered quickly, so I'm assuming any issues would also be addressed quickly. Check in and out was a breeze. We felt very secure at the cabanas and everywhere we visited in Waianae.
We saw multiple turtles and even a whale from our cabana. It is a lovely beach, never crowded, even though a few locals come there, I don't think there was ever more than 35-40 ish people on it.
Our stay was truly amazing and we can't wait to go back!
P.S. We recommend The Beach House by 604 (great food and outside ocean views) and Coquitos restaurants(yummy Puerto Rican), Tamuras Market (friendly folks, weds senior disc)and Sundance Tattoo (awesome artists), all local in Waianae.
