Welcome to our river view/intracoastal water home nestled in a small fisherman's village along New River. This home is 3 miles from Camp Lejeune; 8 miles from North Topsail Beach; & 20 miles from Jacksonville, NC. The locally renowned Riverview Café and a public boat ramp are both within walking distance. This home is perfect for vacation, military homecomings, or furnished housing. There is space for everyone in this 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom layout, including a queen size pull-out couch.

The house was perfect for my family. We brought two little ones & our dog. It had a nice fenced in backyard where they could play when we were not at the beach. Not far away from the beach and other shopping areas. Great house and great owners.

Family Visit

We traveled to North Carolina to visit our family for a long weekend. This was the perfect place to stay, with our fur babies. The location was perfect to visit all the places we wanted to see. The house had everything we needed to make our stay perfect, also any questions were quickly addressed by Autumn. We would definitely consider staying here in the future and recommending it to anyone wanting to visit.

Charming location and responsive host

Location is beautiful. Unfortunately the owner was having some problems with her cleaning crew prior to our visit, but otherwise, it is a beautiful location and the owner was very responsive and willing to correct the problems. I would suggest some privacy curtains for the back door.

Great place away from the bustle.

This is a wonderful little hideaway that is perfect for a family vacation or even just a couple wanting to getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Great kitchen setup and pretty much everything we needed.

Great area

Very nice area to stay in for son’s IBT graduation. My only complaint was that I wish there was more and better seating in living room. The couch was very wore out and other than that there were only 2 chairs. Host was very responsive to all the questions we had.

Ringing in the New Year with my Marine

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is very nice and roomy. The privacy fenced back yard was great for the dogs. The beds were very comfortable. We would definitely recommend this VRBO!

Visiting our Marine

The house was located perfect for visiting our Marine. He was able to go back and forth. We loved the fenced in yard for our dogs. (By the way the screen on the sliding door was scratched up before we came). We loved the River and the military noises nearby. The ocean was super close as well as shopping. Please add a toaster to your home. We also played your games-that was fun.

Great family stay near military base and beach

We moved to the area and needed a place to stay while waiting on our new house. This was the perfect place our family! Close to base, close to the beach and everything needed to accommodate our young children and dog. Autumn was very responsive. The fenced backyard and quiet neighborhood by the water makes this place a hidden gem. We would definitely stay again!

Wonderful week at the Ferry

House is warm, cozy and in a quiet neighborhood. My husband and I are mid 70's. We have a small doggie that enjoyed fenced in backyard. We do not eat, prefer home cook food. Nice kitchen. Looking forward to booking again.

The house was very clean. The open floor plan allowed us to all be together in the same room comfortably. The owner was very accessible to answer our questions. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Great property!

My family and I loved this property! Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, it was just a few minutes from dining and shopping options, as well as a short drive to the beach. The house was clean, beds comfortable and it had a great open layout for our family. We loved the fenced in backyard as well. The owners reached out to ensure our check-in was smooth and we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this property!

Perfect for our needs

We had a few minor issues with our check in but it was quickly solved with good communication. Spacious home with plenty of room for our needs while in the area for military event. We were able to bring our dog and the fenced yard was especially nice. There are several nice restaurants close by... we even walked to a great seafood place on our first evening.

Ideal, simple house setup!

Single level layout, with large and open kitchen and family room was ideal for visiting with friends and family. The fenced in backyard allowed an extension and great for the dogs as well. Located in a quiet neighborhood with very little traffic allowed for pleasant walks. Additionally, there was a great seafood restaurant less than a half a mile away.

Family visit

This property was the perfect location for us to visit family, thus we didn't spend much time at the property. Just a place to lay our heads. As this is a new listing, there were a few minor hiccups, but nothing that wasn't addressed or taken care of.

PET FRIENDLY AND SIMPLE

Pros are convenient location and perfect set up for dogs. Comfortable beds and hot water. On arrival previous dog poop was not picked up. You get one towel set per person which was ok but the dryer does not get hot if you wash clothes.The Couch in the living room was uncomfortable so watching tv could have been a better experience but i am 50. I rated it a 4 out of 5.

Sneads Ferry home

The property was as described in the listing. Here are our pros and cons of the property: cons: -property grass was not mowed gave the appearance of being unkept on the outside, so the backyard was not inviting to sit outside around the firepit -the neighborhood was nice in certain spots and some homes were unkept as well. A leash law in not in effect. We have a small dog and there was large dogs off leash and not fenced in. If you plan on staying with a small dog and want to stroll the neighborhood, this is not the place. -all lighting in the house was dim. Maybe replace with stronger bulbs to give a lighter feel in the home. - the furniture was not comfortable. There is only a couch and two accent chairs. We had to resort laying on the floor to watch TV. If you don't plan on staying in the home for any lenth of time this may be okay for you. Pros - the house was very spacious plenty of room for a bigger family -wonderful seafood restaurant right down the street. -stocked well with dishes and other necessities -single garage to store your car during the night -very clean -loved the extra blankets for lounging around

This is a wonderful gem of a property if you are looking for a budget friendly house near the beach and Camp Lejeune that is very well maintained. Excellent for those who don't want steps with a open layout.
